....to all the wonderful members here....
I was in Lafayette on a Harley when Katrina hit. Pissed me off it was raining sideways and all the crossovers was barricaded where I couldnt get thru. But what really pissed me off is insurance companies was paying pennys on the dollar and the damn courts with their greased palms was allowing it.
I never have been one to go in for freak diets. I use one simple technique which has always worked: move a little more, eat a little less. It's not very fast, but ALWAYS works. I needed to get back to my walks anyway; had gotten pretty good at climbing the hilly street I live on, back in the fall, but then got that nasty bacterial sinus infection and it just whomped me... then it got cold. Now it's getting nice again, so we're going to start doing our evening walks again. Didn't today, but we did groceries; walking the entire Walmart store is plenty of walking.

At work they are into this big health kick bullshit. In order to get a substantial reduction in health insurance next year they want you to jump thru these hoops, and then earn a bunch of points. For over a $100 a paycheck, Im game. One of the ways to earn points is excersize and walking sounded like the easiest one, thats for me!
Now I am walking 10K steps a day and holy crap, thats too much like work! Yet I can also see the benefits of all this walking. I actually feel better and have more energy from it. A walking challenge began on the first day of my hitch 10 days ago and according to the tracker I already walked 60 miles since the challenge began.
I'm sure the troll lurketh... Keep seeing the notices for ignored member so I'll just leave this for everyone's enjoyment.

yeah it was a clusterfuck for sure, just getting back in to see if there was anything left. I ended up having to cut through the spillway to get back in and see what was here; because, my company had sent me to Arizona to open a branch office, so that we could stay afloat. That turned into a 2 year move.
While I hate to defend SJ, Turd Donkey barged into a thread about Roxy and demanded to know why he'd been suspended for two week. He was given an entirely appropriate answer. If you've ever spent time in the only section where Turd normally posts, I believe you'd understand.

Yah, that guy busting into that thread was just a warm bag full of summers eve. Chode is just British for Jerk, not the Urban Dictionary definition. I thought it rather refreshing and a sign that he agrees things need to lighten up a lil there. Well, a lot, but if he thinks a lil, it's a start for the poor noob unfortunates that continue to wander in.
Good morning everyone Is there someone named GPC something or another registered or posting over here? If so, I'll leave now. I'm a dual forum user. I have 3-4 threads that I post in over at ecf that I have some very good friends in and don't want to lose. But...the troll that I call GPC has started posting in one of those threads so I've told my friends that are still there that I'll leave as I despise that guy. So...sorry for the long rambling post about nothing. 
I hope to post more frequently here if I'm allowed.

Anyway, I briefly had a thing for this one woman there. Ya know, dancing, doing shots, etc. Anyway, my ex caught wind of it, and told me to stay away from her. I said it's none of her business. My ex then proceeded to inform me she didn't say bitch, she said witch, as in the lady was a practicing witch who believed in spells and curses and such.
