which part of HINDU did you miss.There are very few Christians in the slums of India......I really don't think you can blame the catholic church for the population explosion or poverty of India....rahter than blaming pro-lifers for India's slums you may want to bother looking into the culture of the Hindus and muslims that make up the population of India's slums.....or the green revolution, or the attitudes of rich Indians toward the poor.
