Smok has moonshot style coming also minos

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-N910A using Tapatalk
I seen that looks to be very nice ! It also looks to be one those Moonshot style short tanks but also comes with option of running a a pre-built coils that are much like what you'd find on a RDA build (example fused claptons aliens etc) which can be a big plus to many who can't make a "duel fused alien staggered parallel doublet twisted helix dragon SS318957L coils" They also have the Geekvape Griffin 25 mini coming out which is also much like the moonshot also +sure the Eagle mini with all those pre-built coils will follow. Shame they have to come up with all these killer RTA(s) a month (The August date) before the FDA makes them quit making new products...is this correct anyone ????
Here is the "Goon style" RBA head for the Smok TFV8 that will soon be released ..now looks like I may be glad I grabbed on the TFV8 I almost gave up on Smok due to the RBA bases they offered for the TFV4

Is this supreme a proven tank . Not trying to be butt head . Just need more RTA tanks in my line up . I bought the Merlin and Boreas and I am giving up on both of them . Any help would be appreciated.

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
It's a proven tank imo. I originally bought a SS and loved it. I quickly bought a black one and with my old eyes I loved it even more because seeing the JFC markings is easier imo. Then on FT's Memorial Day Sale I bought 4 more Black Supremes for my Vapepocalypse stash.. When it comes to tanks, I can't guarantee everyone will like it as much as I do. The only thing I can say is it has excellent build quality (smooth threads, knurling in all the right places, very clean out of the box, etc), easy to build/wick, and the best flavor out of every RTA I've ever tried.

I'm more leery of recommending tanks because it's more about taste imo. Since we all taste things differently that makes it hard. Not only that we all like/value different things. On top of all that I haven't tried all the RTA's so it's just what I like best out the ones I've tried.

Cheers,
Steve

Edit I forgot to mention it comes in two sizes, 7ml and 4ml (just shorter)

I WAS REPLYING ABOUT THE SMOK TFV8 to
Infinite1
I bought a Smok TFV8 from Origin Vapes for less then $22 during the 4th sale I was going for free shipping & added it to my purchase. Hadn't planned on buying it but just picked it up for trade or gift .I watched Danial's (DJLSB Vapes)review on it last night and he said he could not find any cons. A hour long review &he really covered everything . .I think l may have to just keep it for the rba/rta base.I owned the TFV4 and had a love/hate relationship with it. I loved the way it vaped on the pre-built tripe coils but hated breaking in new coils. To me I could taste nothing but machine oil even pre-rinsing them with vodka and water. It would take about two full tanks to remove the taste and could still only use 2-3 flavors without always tasting machine oil. On the Smok TFV8 I plan to only use the rebuildable deck so shouldn't have the problems like TFV4 .I hope its a winner. Lately I've been rocking two IJoy/Limitless RDTA(& Plus on pre-order) but bought the IJoy Tornado Nano RTA and found it to have even better flavor .It's deck doe'nt spin while building like the larger Tornado. The flavor is better then many RDA's I've used. It has a 18.6 build deck(breeze to wick) and holds 4ml. Plenty airflow and huge juice ports for wicking. Plus its short like a RDA.It also comes with a pre-built duel twisted 24-26G on whats called a "chip coil" and it can even be re-wicked.Anyone who loves flavor should give it a try .It can be scored for as cheap as$20 in USA or low as $15 China.Has a color changing glass and a spare clear. They offer a chuff cap but can not find any in stock yet. I just hope the Smok TFV8 is a winner. I owned a Griffin 22 and hated it due to where I use MaxVG. I sat on the Fence forever wondering if I was going to buy the Griffin 25 and when the IJoy/Limitless was released I went that route and bout two I liked them so well. Now those are in my rotation along with the IJoy Tornado Nano (being #1) and a couple RDA(s) . I haven't looked a lot into the Supreme as I've heard mixed reviews along with price but now its starting to come down some I may look more into one. I had also considered the Boreas RTA . However a lot makers are releasing(or soon to release) these shorter RTA(s) much like the Moonshot.Which most to me being shorter I think really helps with flavor Which is also why I also considered and I'm still on the Fence about the Coil Art "Mage" but many those only hold 2-3 ml (Mage 3.5 I think). The Nano was my limit(so far) at 4ml . I was also surprised to see the Smok TFV8 tank to be shorter then the TFV4 and still hold as much juice.UPDATE Just went to Smok website looks like they will also have a "goon style "RBA out for the TFV8. Nice !! Once again guys thanks for helping out !
You are most welcome!

Looks like we are on the same mission and very similar requirements. I'm definitely gonna give the Mage a try. The Avocados 22/24 were both a let down for me with wicking. The 24 I use occasionally, the Mage seems to address those issues to me. The only reason I have not picked up a Limitless was the reviews that said the Chuff gets too hot...do u have that issue/ solution? I too plan to get in on the preceded for the Plus!!

I use the Griffin 25 with max VG, it is a bit delicate for wicking..I can PM u a pic of how I wick/build if interested.

Thanks for the suggestion of the other 2 attys, will def check them out!!

Watched the heathens video on the Griffin mini looks like they took some steamcrave ideas with juice flow. I'd love to see one of those coils you talking about lol

I'm anxiously awaiting the Griffin mini. It has a lot of potential. The 25 is great, but the tweaks of the mini should hopefully sure it up nicely!

I have a black and silver 22 griffin and they sit on the shelf. Thus no desire for the 25. But the mini looked nice.

I can certainly understand that. I started with the 25. Cone to think of it...I don't like any of my 22mm atties any longer. I even tried firing up my Aromizer v1 and v2 last week and was not impressed at all. The Supreme has spoiled me! I use "Dianna" (for Steve) as my baseline. As most will agree...the Supreme is hard to beat!

You have heard about the Limitless Plus coming out ? It solves all the problems that the 24 had. The new one is 25 . It uses the same style build deck as the Tornado Nano uses. Its like a velocity but the top two post holes have the screws on top. Makes it a little easier. They solved the chuff cap by adding both a wide bore drip tip and adding a 510 drip tip adapter . Its also a 25 MM and holds little over 6ml vs the advertised 4ml (on the 24)which you can get 5ml if wicked right.. I use a resin drip tip that is for the Goon, Kennedy ,AV battle cap and think it may even fit the smokTFV8. I got the Green one off ebay for $10 shipped and picked up a new red one not pictured for $9 shipped from two different ebay sellers . search resin Goon drip tip or Resin Kennedy or Kennedy dragon caps for some other styles.. The black one pictured is from a Griffin until the red one shows up . aS mentioned China cheaper but are only sold by random color but you get two(2) them for less then $5 https://www.fasttech.com/products/5044000 or $3.59 for 1 at: http://www.3fvape.com/drip-tip/1012...ripping-atomizer-random-color-resin-13mm.html They also offor a new resin Chuff cap https://www.fasttech.com/products/5193700

Yep yep, I saw some videos about the Plus and I really want one...just don't feel like jumping on the Pre-order bus :). I will wait till it hits the market. BUT..that Limitless has been on my lost for a while and now with the info about the drip tips, I will pick one up along with the Tornado. Don't think I will go the Nano route though. I like the larger version from what I can tell :)

Thanks again for the info!

Thanks to Steve's incessant enabling, my Black and SS Supremes landed Friday.
Built the SS immediately and fell in love. Probably already my favorite dual coil sub ohm tank.
I refer to it as a Classy Boreas. More refined and sophisticated in my opinion.
Then looked around and didn't see any mod without an atty on it that was worthy of the black one to sit on.
So of course, to stay on topic here, I had to order a Black & Yellow VT133 as a companion.
With over 3 dozen mods and more atties, I can't say I "needed" these new additions.
However, I feel no remorse, only great joy & satisfaction.
And I just remind my wife about the deeming regulations she knows nothing about.

The Tornado Nano is not small only the name . The deck is 18.6mm which is as large or larger then most the large RTA tanks including the Smok TFV8 Griffin 25 etc..its a 24mm and has huge juice ports for the wicking and plenty of airflow. It does only hold 4ml but its worth the trade off of only 1-3 more ml just for the flavor DJLsb Vapes has a nice review and even mentions it in the Smok TFV8 video as one the RTA's he's lately been using most.and that its really been a favorite. But certain tanks apply to certain people all depending on their style vaping. The Nano only having 4ml to me is no problem . If its wicked right I don't even have to close the airflow off while filling. The top fill has large enough holes where you can just take your juice bottle and pour juice in ,no dropper,or needle needed. I keep a 10ml(2 1/2 fills) Unicorn bottle with me if I'm out and can still fill it in seconds ..No biggie. The color change glass when heated up turns somewhat frosted where its enough where you can see the juice level. They also will be offering more accessories over time including coils with LED lights and many more .Need to find a chuff cap seller myself,no luck yet.. I kinda hope they make a Tornado V2(or Plus) based off the Nano with the same style deck that doesn't spin like the Moonshot has .Did they change that on the new 24mm ? I like the moonshotbut think the coil art Mage solved its problems .. Even a extension would work like this guy offors for the moonshot .Check out his chuff caps for the Limitless pricey but nice http://signaturetips.com/signature-sigelei-moonshot-extention-kits.html I posted a link toDJLsb Vapes review on the Nano .I hope thi is okay i'm not trying to sell anything just help others find good deals and nice products.

If your in no hurry they can be scored for like $15 in china. ebay around $22 but you might find one on sale for $20 or less ..I've not looked for another. I got mine from the vaping walrus though his ebay store for $22 he has a online store also. I almost bought a second and still might but since I have one and two Limitless I wanted to see how the limitless plus is first. I may buy a Goon is what I'm on the fence about now ..

I'm not saying these attys aren't good but I've found if I plan to use it as an RTA the best thing is to just get an RTA. I say that because with a sub-ohm tank you have to screw on the heads or RBA section into the base which then sit on the center pin. It's an extra connection that can sometimes cause unstable resistance over time (That gives TC fits). YMMV

Cheers,
Steve

I understand what your saying on the bases and deck not being one piece and meeting up to the center pins . But a lot RTA(s) even have a removable base now. Many are going this route. I always check my center pin and push it firmly up as far as It can go with the base out then screw on the base tight so it pushes the center pin back down this seems to give the best connection. People sometimes don't tighten a base up enough from where it was the time before and it doesn't make as good connection. So anytime the base is out its a good idea to check the center pin and make sure base is tightened down firm against the center pin. its just good practice . Many RTA(s) are going this route so they can also be cleaned better in the airflow chamber . I know Ijoy has really been making some the nicest center pins where they will work on Hybrid mech mods.Nicest I've seen on any rebuildables .I really hope others follow their examples and perhaps we won't here of accidents with some tank on a hybrid mod. I personally do not own any RBA or RTA that doesn't have a adjustable center pin. Thats the problem many have is no-adjustable pin that's just to short to where it sets flush etc .One reasons Ijoy products are really getting in the game from what I heard is they are working with Americans out Cali not sure who the guys are but they are listening to what we want from their products. I also find it odd alot these RTA's are adding these pre-built coil heads .I mean Geekvape is offing a whole RTA based on Pre-built coils now(Eagle) ..I think the RBA base cost extra .

I know my Supreme has a removable base but the pin is part of it. I wasn't telling people what to do/buy, I was just saying what I do. I just think the less connections, the better when it comes to basically everything but especially TC.

I also agree that is the best design and probably part of why the Supreme cost more since they offer two bases for it. My first tank was a Kanger subtank mini and the RBA base was always having connections problems in temp control regardless what one tried. So I know exactly what your talking about . The good side to these RTA offering both a RBA and pre-built is it gets a person to sometime try their hand at building .So a bad experience out ones RTA not working correctly could really ruin it for them .With these new FDA laws coming out I think many more people are wanting to learn to build..I'd hate to think I'd have to buy years and years supplies of coils like i stocked nicotine . I bet it's a bitch any Americans working with China explaining how we need to keep making our vape products better and not cheaper ...

I typically hold this principle true...that said this TFV8 that I have opened up my eyes to what I used to ignore and classify as newbie products. It's a shame that such great innovation is right up on the heels of the "unknown"... but I'm still happy to see the progress. Ive got a lot of true RTAs, but these new breed designs are pushing the limits and worth a look IMO. I too ain't telling people what to buy, but we respect the opinion of all the folks in this thread!

Thanks Steve and everyone else for your feedback. Man, this 133 thread has everything a vapor needs...Steve's fantastic profiles, tons of creative ideas for cosmetically changing the 133, and tons of great RBA/RTA recommendations to suit all styles of vaping!

I'm gonna say this...but this is the best 133 the thread

Speaking of the TFV8, I'm going to wick the RTA tonight...really enjoying that quad coil...I'm not really into massive clouds, but with this setup they're unavoidable, and the flavor is spot on for a high wattage atty.

Now I need to find someone who has the Supremes on sale....:vino:..(enabled again)..

sorry to ask and know it is somewhere in this thread. I have been reading for over an hour.

Does someone have a link to the VT133 with LH HB2 batteries. I would like to download the battery file for the VT133.

Thank you in advance.

I'll look around and if I find it I'll send it to you via PM

PS You can use the HG2 curve but you will have to change the watt hours to 11.1. I'm not sure the curve is going to make much difference but having twice the WH will throw your battery bar/meter off.

Cheers,
Steve

I've been following this thread off and on and really wanting to get a VT133. I finally pulled the trigger yesterday and ordered an all black one from VapeNW, I really wanted a black and yellow, but ecig.com was sold out again. I'm pretty excited, this is my first DNA200 device. I'm sure I will have all kinds of questions about setting it up. Now, comes the hard part....... waiting.

Welcome to the club . I posted my Ecig profile back on page 7 along with instructions on how to upload it to your mod. It includes 7 profiles (1 for power mode and 6 for TC), case thermals, mod resistance, battery CSV, WH, amount, and type for LG HG2's. It also includes custom screens and custom theme. It will get you setup and ready to roll.
Here's the link:

PS I also posted the CSV file for Samsung 25R's somewhere in this thread. Seems like most of us are using one or the other

Cheers,
Steve

IS that a reliable site? Have you used them before?

I would like to know as well. I was trying to get the black one from Element Vape and use the code to get 10$ after adding something else small to the cart. But I just get an error, over and over. They reply back that other people are using the code they added the same items to the cart and the code worked for them. So I think I will try Vaping Veterens out since their price is lower, sorry EV. It is just the SS version. But I want the Goon, Looks so easy to build on and has a nice juice well.

Thanks, I really appreciate that, it will be a huge help! I usually use LG HG2s or Samsung 25r as well, but since I just got 4 new Samsung 25r's that is what I will end using. I can't wait!

I ordered it from vaping veterans with shipping came out to 50. It is the ss one. I have a copper goon already and love it. Just hard to clean brushed copper. Wish I knew kidney puncher had black and was having a 4th sale. I would have waited but I'm just as happy with ss.

I got some new glass...

Just a thought...
I was on Kidney Puncher yesterday and noticed they have a ton of colored glass for a dozen or so various tanks.

The Premium/Pyrex ones are pricey, but the normal glass is just a couple/few bucks and they have a standard "rainbow" of colors.

Didn't want to wait for FastTech...bought two Supremes...SS and black at VapeNW using the 20% off coupon code.

Now I'm shredding all the credit cards. I'll call the CC companies in a few months, explaining my "issues", have them send new ones, but take their time, no hurry.......:giggle:
