I'm back to frustrated with the vape so I'm going to yank the coil and try something lower that I can throw some wattage at. This thing shows the Last Power average below 20w half the time even with the temp cranked to 480 (wicking loses it much higher)... it is 1.1 ohm after all. Though I've got a smaller 1.1 also in 430 in the Lil' Serpent and it just plain chucks. Go figger.

I'm torn between trying a Notch coil... or another shot at the 430, but around 0.6 or 0.7.
That's not a lot of decent size wraps... quite a span with the V posts.

Or I'll kick it's ass with a fat 24g 316 like the Bachelor. :p

And I popped the Stumpy Cap on the 'Mizer. I love it.
I like the proportions of the medium short tanks better on the 133s as well.
They look sharp... and I'm getting them freaking color co-ordinated.
Twist up a piece of 430, cut it in half and twist those pieces together again in the reverse direction. Makes a nice 4 strand chain, wrap that on 3.5mm or 4mm wick and enjoy!

I don't have a lot of this sample, but I think I'll be getting more 28g just for twisting.

Doubling it again sounds interesting, I've seen you mention it before.

Sent you a quick pm. I let you know as soon as you answer it:D

Edit...Steve...Quick question on the supreme sir. I put 3mm 26/32 SS Clapton coils in it. Where should i start with the juice flow control? Looks like 6 marks. Wide open?

I replied to the PM, I've never used Claptons in mine so I'm not positive but I'm thinkimg between 4-6. Maybe @Infinite1 has run Claptons (Slowhand) in his.

Cheers,
Steve

I've run claptons in the same JFC position as standard coil builds. I usually start fully open (98% VG) and work down to find the sweet spot from there. I think it all depends on your juice really... I can say that with my super maxxx VG that I blend, I rarely have JFC fully open.

Hope that helps any

I have 26SS/36K1 in mine w/70/30 PG/VG. 35W @ 500 and have run it between 3.5 and wide open.
Seems awesome to me, but YMMV.

For those who wanted to know about the Mage tank . Good quality tank . Huge on the flavor . Can't adjust anything but airflow . And if you are older and have worn out body parts like myself . Find your happy place before you install the chimney section . Rotflmao

I had nothing but good stuff to say about my Supreme. It never leaked, great flavor, clouds, etc. until today. I loaded it up with 7ml of my favorite juice and went out of the door to town. 30 minutes later I pulled out my Supreme from my pocket and it was bone dry. Looked at my pocket and it had 7ml of juice in it. And I had nothing to vape. :xD:

What do you think the cause was Bill? Temperature change maybe? Wicking got old? I've never had mine do that (thankfully).

Cheers,
Steve

@Steve: I think it leaked because it was sitting and bouncing around sideways. It's probably is a good idea to close the flow control if you are going to do that.
That's very strange indeed. I've never had a Supreme leak. Up until this post, I did not think it was possible :(. I does really sound like a wicking issue. Just thinking of the physics of the way the rank is built/wicks. With the amount of cotton tails in the well, the rails would have to be up away from the bottom to allow juice to continue to flow.

My thought, but stranger things could happen. Sorry that happened.

Well the one thing that bothers me about top fill is that these tanks needs a vacuum at top to keep gravity from emptying the tank out the air holes by gravity. And any tiny pinhole leak in the top and the whole tank will empty. The Supreme is the only top fill tank that I never had a problem top filling. The Boreas for example, the build is virtually the same, vape, flavor, and just about everything is the same as the Supreme. But the flow control isn't as tight as the Supreme and can sometimes leak when you top fill.

Now when the Supreme or anything else like these, when placed on the side can loose vacuum. Once that happens, gravity just drains it right out the air holes like a drain. That is all it was from what I figure. Nothing wrong with the wicking or the build or anything. When I got home I just refilled and it is back to normal once again. No leaks or anything. Just don't lay it sideways and bounce it up and down and things will be fine. :)

Strange indeed. Thanks for the tip!!! Can't say that I've laid mine down on its side with enough movement to cause it. Glad you're back up and going!

Just got my black VT133 from vapenw. Love everything about it but unfortunately there's a gap with my Serpent Mini on it.

Well, crap. :(

Here we go with VNW's infamously poor CS.
They told me if it didn't affect performance, they wouldn't fix it. As other attys do seat flush, and I have another, I let it go.

But if you push them and get any results, let us know.

Fixed mine.

Unlike say... the RX issue, this one has what appeared to be full travel (nice to have another to compare) so I just got Medieval on the little fucker.

Figuring it was just crunchy threading... I gripped an iSub and just muscled through it.
And I had to crank on it pretty hard. Not cool... not cool at all.

But... all's well, mod's fine, Jim's happy. :p

If the 510 pin moves freely, and deeply, you may want to give it a go.
