Good Monday morning everyone.
I've been off on a new endeavor, I got an Air Fryer and I've spent the week learning how to use it and cooking lots of yummy stuff.
It's becoming an obsession I think, just ordered a second one so I don't have to cook in batches. Yep we are using it that much.

Does it come out as good as oil frying? Saw one the other day and strongly considered it

It's not the same because the food isn't loaded with grease, but things come out crispy and brown and very good, much better than in the oven. You do need to either toss the food in oil or preferably use a sprayer, not Pam, and spritz it before cooking. Not all oil fryers are created equal so do your homework.
No it isn't infrared.
The one I got is the Farberware but it is only 3.2 qt so I had to do chicken drumsticks in two batches and then a third batch for the taters which was a bit time consuming, but yummy food. I have ordered a second with 4.2 qt capacity and will keep the first one, I can do chicken in one and sides in the other.
The 4.2 qt was a todays top value at Evine and it sold out so it will be a little while before it's back, but it will be back and it has a different heating element system, I'm anxious to get it as it is brand new tech and supposed to be very very good.

need to add another 1/10 mile to that route. Not superstitious , but why risk it?

is that flat? i was looking at google maps for rides, and thinking a 500 meter elevation seems worrisome, even spread over 3-4km

Yeah, it's pretty flat. Just a couple little hills.
I would think a 500m elevation gain would take some effort.

Morning Dog!

K's having surgery again today. They're going back in to her shoulder to remove scar tissue. She can still only raise it 90° and it hurts constantly. They say she's one of the few people that get frozen shoulder.

Mum got the home service GP in, after being sick for 2-3 weeks. He gave her an injection, and sais if she's not better tomorrow, to dial 000 for an ambulance
