Diameter: 22 mm
Capacity: 3.5 mm
40 mm Tall Without Drip Tip
47 mm Tall with Drip tip

The dome of the inner chamber looks like it should be good for flavor. Between the two possible designs I'm liking the cyclops design better on the right. I do think they should have a bit more pronounced knurling on the top to access the juice fill. I'm kinda liking the one on the right a bit more than the left. It appears to have double walled glass, I'm curious on what that would serve since it's obvious it's bottom air, top air options? I don't know.

Thoughts?

I like the Cyclopse styled afc and top of the orther one, just looks more clean to me.
yeah I have to agree, I'm not a fan of the dimples. I do think though they should put some knurling around the cap for gripping. Or like the Ohmega Alpha One I just built tonight the drip tip also doubles as a cap for the juice fill. It's only got o-rings no threading so you just pop off and on. I'm really liking it, really easy and no worries about slipping.

Definitely the one on the right but I don't like either dt. Why not just use the original Merlin dt? If it ain't broke don't fix it. Not crazy about the double walled glass unless there's a benefit to it. Is there a airflow between the glass? If not what's the point? I would really love to see the deck. Looks like there's no jfc as well. Definitely interesting and kind of retro looking. Would love to see more pics.

I bet it's not double walled glass that it's just the rendering showing the thickness of the glass. Also considering the opening under the Bell, I'm guessing it has a deck with holes in the bottom like the Boreas/kayfun 5/Engine/Aromamizer.

I chose the one on the right. It's funny to see all these "hemispherical" tops of the chamber section now. Reminds me of when dodge relaunched the the Hemi which is built on the same design, it was better then the more squarish designs used back then but still worse then the current modern design of using a more triangled shape. I'd like to see that get copied personally.

yeah the DT, I'm still not sure if I like it or not.

I pinged them about the double wall glass, that's just something in the CAD program that makes it look like that. So no double wall glass, cool for I wasn't sure how I would have liked that.

Yeah with that o ring on top it sure looked liked that. Glad that it's not. I should have my Merlin Mini this week. Really looking forward to it. I'm a big fan of Augvape tanks. Love my Boreas, Alleria, and Merlin. Looking forward to this one. Loving the conical design of the chamber and the reduced chimney. Should make for a real flavorful vape. I really want to see that deck.

Variety's the very spice of life, that gives it all it's flavour.

Just my .02 but I don't think it's a doubled up glass. It's the way they drew it in their 3d program, I've seen this done before and thought (mistakenly) that the tank was double glass like a top airflow. The actual photos of the kit showed a simple single glass tank body. If you look close you'll see the 'inner' line meets up with the silicone seal and the outer portion sits against the silicone seals in the top cap and the bottom of the deck. We would assume there would only need to be one 'line' to indicate the glass tank but they're trying to draw the 'thickness' of it and used two lines.

I prefer the dimpled top cap on the right for better gripping. The aesthetics of the air holes on the left are nice but the 'boring' slot on the right interpretation likely means better airflow and still fine adjustment down to whatever level of restriction the individual holes provide. The best part of the looks to me is the shape of the bell inside the chimney/vapor chamber.

Yep +1 on that barrel/chimney.

I prefer the one on the right, but my main concern is what they will be doing with the base of the rta.
Is it going to be pressed fitted like the other 2 versions of Merlin's that have already been produced, and if so will it this time be a little less leaky?

The mini Merlin I have had for just over a week seems to be leak free, but I wish it held a bit more juice than it does, so I am hoping that they may go with a similar design.

I contacted Augvape Official on FB & on their website re: rumors of an extension chimney & tank. I got the Merlin Mini cos I succumbed to everyone's enthusiasm & cos it's not press fit. But, as I suspected the flavor & airflow is great but the 2ml is a bummer. I'm not holding out any hope that they will answer me though.

They reached out to me via this forum & sadly confirmed, no extension for the Merlin Mini.

Not good news, they could have sold quite a few more mini merlin's if there was a option to purchase a extension tank.
Shame that they don't listen to the needs of the public.

Just got my Merlin Mini. All I can I say so far is this thing has some really nice flavor. I'm going to spend a the weekend with her and do a full written review.

I am going to wager the one on the right (with I prefer) will be at least a 24mm and designed for DTL, the one on the left will be the 22mm (as it says) and lean toward the MTL.

They should have a package for the Mini like the new IJOY EXO RTA that includes a single and dual coil deck, a 2ml setup and an extension for a 6ml setup.

You know, if you go to their website they show the 22mm as "01." and then the other one as "02." Like maybe January (01) and February (02) as if there might be 2 different versions coming out. Or maybe they are wanting us to vote on v01 and v02?? ;)

Yep, that's a concern but I believe on this version they've done some work on the deck to address the leaking issue. Like raise the deck a bit, it's worth mentioning to them about the leaking/weeping issues of the first Merlin. If I remember right it was largely due to the press fitting, but they have paid attention to the complaints it seems.

Would be nice if they can create the top fill like the TFV8, I don't like that screw on caps.

Tell you what I got a couple of the Ohmega Alpha One tanks and I really like the top fill on that one. It's o-rings, nothing to screw on or off, just pop it off. It keeps a nice clean look and easy access.

Looks like they're eliminating jfc on it as well? I can't tell how much to trust these renderings other than the top cap design.

I prefer the one on the right. I'd prefer it to have some kind of knurling but those dimples are better than nothing, also prefer the cyclops air flow. Hopefully they keep their current drip tip design, I really like it and also has become kinda of a signature of the Merlin tanks.

The chamber design is similar to the SXK Wine Tank, which I do like.

This is only an initial concept, don't think they would get rid of JFC, not in today's market since JFC has become pretty much a standard with Tanks.

I like the one on the right but those dimples kill it for me. Much prefer the left ones top cap. But like the cyclopes style airflow. I like features from both.

I'm not a fan of the cyclops afc, but here's an idea: cyclops opening one the base with interchangeable afc rings. It would be new, eliminating the need for a airflow reducer especially if the ring has holes in decreasing size. Or a very narrow V type cyclops on the base and opposite V on the ring allowing from wide open to very tight draw.
