I would happily snuggle with that smallish tarantula if only I never had to see another centipede again.

) Unlike spiders, which are part of the much-appreciated vermin patrol, centipedes seem to bpretty indiscriminately aggressive. Turns out they are not insects as I'd thought, but arthropods, "predatory myriapod invertebrates." Yucko.
Be nice to the tarantula. He'll eat the centipede babies that your other visitor may have left behind.

So, now that I officially consider myself a FA convert, what NON FA flavors do you consider most useful? I assume TFA Cheesecake Graham crust and Brown sugar extra at least since FA doesn't make a comparable flavor. Other flavors that FA just doesn't do well (I don't mean bread crust etc)?

( a little TFA sweetner or cotton candy might be usefull as well if you have a sweet tooth like myself.......This goes against all of Hics teachings

Your weird like me Dixie. Like Huck said, I get cinnamon where cinnamon does not exist from time to time.......and Im the only one in the entire VU website that does not like Meringue flavoring.I made Huckleberried's Golden Oreo Cookie Cheesecake and that was all I tasted - hazelnut, but both TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust and FA Cookie are in it so I do not know.
I dont get the Hazelnut overtaste ( is that a word?) that you get from thise two mixes.
I love HIC's Sugary Almond-Apple Tart mixed fresh. I prefer alot of mixes fresh.
I would suggest cutting the hazelnut in half when you mix a small samplem again. I had o do that with Meringue in a few mixes.

I wouldn't be able to live without TFA's Double RY4 or AP.
I'm using an oversized screen... hit this page, scrolled down, and that tarantula is nearly life-sized. lol!
It doesn't take much to taste the cinnamon ceylon! I forget what percentage is in most of the recipes I use, but I doubt more than 1% - if that. It's totally different, though, from something like TFA cinnamon red hots which kills any other flavors for me!
To add cinnamon to a bakery recipe, I use 1% or less. Best bakery cinnamon there is.
As a hot cinnamon, to imitate Brach's cinnamon candies, takes me at least 3-5% (but I usually use TFA red hots for that).
If you didn't get it, get it. It's a really good cinnamon. Like the kind you'd sprinkle on hot cocoa or toast or desserts.
Everybody can vote on tasting hazelnut in their cookies by clicking "Like" below. Wonder what might mix well with Amanda's hat? Maybe some salt and black pepper, mixed with crab (another arthropod...), or just a little cinnamon sprinkled on top?

But it could be worse... (though you're still in the top five!) No, you have my sympathies. Texas does have its share of poisonous critters -- and scorpions do seem to like boots and hats.

Anyone use green tea tfa? Is it any good by itself?
I been drinking Bigelow green tea pomegranate and its yummy.

Yes, and yes. TFA beats FA on Green Tea. Standalone TFA Green Tea, around 3-5%, tastes like green tea. FA's tastes like <censored> to me.
I'd try about 3% TFA Green Tea, 1% FA Apple (Fuji overwhelms tea), 0.25-0.5 FA Pomegranate (TFA's would work fine, too). I wouldn't use rose flavor, but would add 0.5% FA Lemon Sicily for the flavor of rose hips. Licorice root could be 0.5% FA Licorice, but I think the same amount of FA Anise would be tastier and get the sweetness of a Bigelow tea better.
I was messing with chai and fruit/spice tea mixes last week, so it's all fresh in my mind. I'm not a huge green tea fan; I used FA Black Tea with most of mine.
I mixed up a cocoa concentrate using FA Cocoa,FA Chocolate and FA Fresh Cream. It is ok but I added some FA Vienna Cream and it is much better but now the recipe I made with it has 9% flavorings Thank goodness it is all FA lol BTW I did not check out the critter I have a real aversion to 8 legged critters

oh man....in my excitement making my order to Bull City, i accidentally ordered hangsen banana instead of FA. I didnt notice this until the day after i got my shipped notification. It should be at my door tomorrow. So does anyone have experience with the hangsen banana? anything close to the fa? or will it be my first newbie diy bench warmer?

Yikes! This is substantially worse. I don't know how the person holding it in that photo can stand it. I've always heard not to try to handle them at all, because of their aggressive tendencies & ability to sting from head or tail. The ones we have here look more like the page you linked to's version of the "Peru Centipede", than the Puerto Rican one:

Just a heads up/caution. Though I love Chai Tea, had a severe allergic reaction to vaping this TFA flavor. I do have allergies -- and this contains multiple essential oils. Still smells great, just won't be vaping. Anyhow you might want to test lightly before going whole hog.

Both TFA teas? I hope I wrote the names right. My preferences for the best-tasting versions:
Flavor Apprentice for the best Green Tea
FlavourArt for the best Black Tea
My favorite was a peach chai with both FA peach flavors, FA Black Tea, and a buncha spice flavors and creams. I like my tea as heavily disguised as I like my coffee, lol.
TFA Black tea is horrid. Don't waste your money on that one. I know "taste is subjective", but trust me, that doesn't apply here.

While comparing teas..
From my experience I find NF earl gray to be a bit off / weird but tfa earl gray is good. Have mixed it with grape. Not on my regular vape list but the tfa is something that was ok to my taste buds.
However. I prefer to use as many FA flavors as possible.

Get some FA Bergamot while you're at it - to make your own Earl Gray.
Sorry if this has been covered, I'm a little overwhelmed with the volume in this thread - does anyone use 'floral' flavors? Wife loves rose vapes and these disgusting violet-flavored candies, so I've got some FA rose and violet on the way...wondering where to start as far as strength. The guy that's been mixing for me says his rose (no clue whose) is really strong, and I've heard everything from 2% to 20% as far as flavoring-to-base ratios (one shop I *used* to buy from says they were switching to as high as 40% flavoring!?!)...I'm thinking of starting around 3-4% with a 20/80 PG/VG 3mg nic base - that sound reasonable?
I typically start any flavor new to me at 2%, unless I've read somewhere that it's uber strong. Increase, decrease as needed. @chickenmonkey uses those flavors, I think.
Awesome, thanks! I think starting too weak would be better than too strong, so will give 2% a whirl - worst case scenario I add a few drops at a time until I arrive at a winner.
@chickenmonkey posted some recipes with rose and with violet in the recipes subforum, including that violet candy you mentioned and a Turkish delight.

The rose and violet flavours are very good. My parma violet recipe is just like the sweets. The turkish delight isn't too bad I would probably cut down the grape. When I do it again.

Given the ones you already have, looks like you might like Coconut, Irish Cream, Marzipan, Fuji. Maybe Peppermint, White Peach, and Papaya to widen your choices a bit.
