Ew...that is one nasty looking critter LOL
This one is a lot cuter than that centipede I can tell you--and she stalks the shadows of my casita even now. I don't ever kill bugs if I can help it, but I made an exception for the individual centipede who wakened me from a sound sleep by biting me on the forehead! Got that motherfucker with the shopvac.
Oh my, no! I wouldn't want that in my house, either. On occasion, in the Spring or Fall, I see one in my kitchen, but they're only about an inch long.I would happily snuggle with that smallish tarantula if only I never had to see another centipede again.
Those guys are really scary. Plus: OUCH!
I'm not talking abotu the small furry-looking ones you find in the northeastern and southwestern states; the ones here are fully armored and sometimes eight inches long. Practically lobsters. (Maybe FA could make a nice centipede flavor to complement that crab everyone raves over) Unlike spiders, which are part of the much-appreciated vermin patrol, centipedes seem to bpretty indiscriminately aggressive. Turns out they are not insects as I'd thought, but arthropods, "predatory myriapod invertebrates." Yucko.
So, now that I officially consider myself a FA convert, what NON FA flavors do you consider most useful? I assume TFA Cheesecake Graham crust and Brown sugar extra at least since FA doesn't make a comparable flavor. Other flavors that FA just doesn't do well (I don't mean bread crust etc)?
The non-FA flavors I find most useful for mixing with FlavourArt:
TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust
TFA Brown Sugar Extra
TFA Banana Nut Bread
TFA acetyl pyrazine dilution
TFA Cranberry
TFA Holiday Spice
TFA Kentucky Bourbon
TFA Koolada
TFA Maraschino Cherry
TFA Molasses (has custard notes)
TFA White chocolate (has custard notes)
Inawera Sesame (IMO has custard notes)
NF Organic Ginger
Tasty Puff Root Beer
I have boxes and boxes of others, including many that I use regularly by themselves or with other non-FA flavors.
Your weird like me Dixie. Like Huck said, I get cinnamon where cinnamon does not exist from time to time.......and Im the only one in the entire VU website that does not like Meringue flavoring.I made Huckleberried's Golden Oreo Cookie Cheesecake and that was all I tasted - hazelnut, but both TFA Cheesecake Graham Crust and FA Cookie are in it so I do not know. I also tried HIC's Sugary Almond-Apple Tart and all I tasted was hazelnut. I know it is not their recipes so it is my taster

I did manage to procrastinate till the end of BCV sale. I wanted to score some FA flavors as well as others. I suppose I can wait for the FA espresso and meringue..
Does anyone know if Cinnamon Ceylon is a strong flavor? I would go looking (Google) but a lot of folks have dead taste receptors and recommend high percents.
My question is what have you tasted AP in so far? I ask this, because I'll eat my hat if you can taste hazelnut in FA cookie LOL

Everybody can vote on tasting hazelnut in their cookies by clicking "Like" below. Wonder what might mix well with Amanda's hat? Maybe some salt and black pepper, mixed with crab (another arthropod...), or just a little cinnamon sprinkled on top?
BTW, I love a good turn of phrase!
I really, really wanted to like this, but I didn't want anyone to confuse my enjoyment of your humor as a like for tasting hazelnut in Amanda's hat. Oh pooh. I'm confused. Anyhow, I know for a fact that Amanda would never season her hat with salt, but she does enjoy it with biscuits.Everybody can vote on tasting hazelnut in their cookies by clicking "Like" below. yeaa storm in a teacup you have cause i thinks oops.My point was to end the chit-chat here about other flavor companies for promotional use. I should have been more direct.
Anyone use green tea tfa? Is it any good by itself?
I been drinking Bigelow green tea pomegranate and its yummy.
Ingredients say green tea. Apple. Pomegranate. Rose hips. Licorice root. Id use FA for everything but the green tea.
http://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/226bzz/my_review_of_hangsen_flavor_concentrates/oh man....in my excitement making my order to Bull City, i accidentally ordered hangsen banana instead of FA. I didnt notice this until the day after i got my shipped notification. It should be at my door tomorrow. So does anyone have experience with the hangsen banana? anything close to the fa? or will it be my first newbie diy bench warmer?
But it could be worse... (though you're still in the top five!) No, you have my sympathies. Texas does have its share of poisonous critters -- and scorpions do seem to like boots and hats.
Oh good god, I need to switch to a mobile device or drag out a smaller display.
useless trivia: you can identify the species by counting the segments.
Yes I didGood. Morning all! So I'm lame and never sorted flavors I have here on hand to place order thru one of the sales. I was too busy black Friday / cyber Monday social networking for clients.
Ah well I sense there will be more sales with the same % off or better.
Tball did you pick up hypnotic myst?
Thanks PuppY!, looks like i should treat the hangsen banana at the same level as the FA banana strength-wisehttp://www.reddit.com/r/DIY_eJuice/comments/226bzz/my_review_of_hangsen_flavor_concentrates/

Yes, and yes. TFA beats FA on Green Tea. Standalone TFA Green Tea, around 3-5%, tastes like green tea. FA's tastes like <censored> to me.
I'd try about 3% TFA Green Tea, 1% FA Apple (Fuji overwhelms tea), 0.25-0.5 FA Pomegranate (TFA's would work fine, too). I wouldn't use rose flavor, but would add 0.5% FA Lemon Sicily for the flavor of rose hips. Licorice root could be 0.5% FA Licorice, but I think the same amount of FA Anise would be tastier and get the sweetness of a Bigelow tea better.
I was messing with chai and fruit/spice tea mixes last week, so it's all fresh in my mind. I'm not a huge green tea fan; I used FA Black Tea with most of mine.
Good to know about fuji. I have fuji but havent used FA apple yet.
Looks like I'll be trying both tfa teas!
Did you find a chai you like?
Thank you!

TFA Black tea is horrid. Don't waste your money on that one. I know "taste is subjective", but trust me, that doesn't apply here.Looks like I'll be trying both tfa teas!/QUOTE]
Both TFA teas? I hope I wrote the names right. My preferences for the best-tasting versions:
Flavor Apprentice for the best Green Tea
FlavourArt for the best Black Tea
My favorite was a peach chai with both FA peach flavors, FA Black Tea, and a buncha spice flavors and creams. I like my tea as heavily disguised as I like my coffee, lol.

While comparing teas..
From my experience I find NF earl gray to be a bit off / weird but tfa earl gray is good. Have mixed it with grape. Not on my regular vape list but the tfa is something that was ok to my taste buds.
However. I prefer to use as many FA flavors as possible.
Ps. Thank you for the heads up
Awesome, thanks! I think starting too weak would be better than too strong, so will give 2% a whirl - worst case scenario I add a few drops at a time until I arrive at a winner.I typically start any flavor new to me at 2%, unless I've read somewhere that it's uber strong. Increase, decrease as needed. @chickenmonkey uses those flavors, I think.

The rose and violet flavours are very good. My parma violet recipe is just like the sweets. The turkish delight isn't too bad I would probably cut down the grape. When I do it again.Sorry if this has been covered, I'm a little overwhelmed with the volume in this thread - does anyone use 'floral' flavors? Wife loves rose vapes and these disgusting violet-flavored candies, so I've got some FA rose and violet on the way...wondering where to start as far as strength. The guy that's been mixing for me says his rose (no clue whose) is really strong, and I've heard everything from 2% to 20% as far as flavoring-to-base ratios (one shop I *used* to buy from says they were switching to as high as 40% flavoring!?!)...I'm thinking of starting around 3-4% with a 20/80 PG/VG 3mg nic base - that sound reasonable?
Hi, slowly building my FA collection and looking to add 5-10 more before the holidays. Looking for recommendations. Bilberry and Cold Pressed Lime have already been shortlisted. Not after tobaccos just now. Thanks.
My current flavors:
FA Apple Pie
FA Catalan Cream
FA Cookie
FA Cream Fresh
FA Custard
FA Lemon Sicily
FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic)
FA Marshmallow
FA Meringue
FA Strawberry
FA Tiramisu
FA Vanilla Bourbon
FA Vanilla Tahity
FA Vienna Cream
FA Butterscotch
FA Torrone
Given the ones you already have, looks like you might like Coconut, Irish Cream, Marzipan, Fuji. Maybe Peppermint, White Peach, and Papaya to widen your choices a bit.
Thank you HIC. Is White Peach also know as just Peach, cannot find it on Flavorart.co.uk
I have both Peach and White Peach - they're not the same.
Must look elsewhere. Thank you Amanda.
