How you feeling Jimi?Evening Robert my friend

And the even sadder part is, for most all breeds, this is very common for back-yard breeders. They don't know what they are doing and are only doing it at all to make money on those animals. That is really incredible someone could abuse an animal like this....sad state of affairs this world is in.
hahahaha....I gotta borrow something Crom said yesterday...
"What I used to do all day now takes me all day to do."
I attempted to clean out the chicken coop today. Last time I did this, it only took a couple hours, but today, after that time period had expired, I only had 1/4 of the coop cleaned, 4 wheelbarrows of chicken shit moved to the compost pile, had hit my head on the ceiling half a dozen times, was nearly asphyxiated by the ammonia fumes, and my back was screaming in pain from lifting big shovels full of shit while bent over (the ceiling isn't high enough to stand up straight). Maybe the back issue is leftover from working in the garden yesterday, but it really ticks me off that what used to take a couple hours is now going to be a two-to-three day job.

Take care choder my friendThink I’m gonna take off soon also. . Till another day!
Be safe everyone

Howdy RichHowdy to all the Old Pharts.
Oh, I understand perfectly. If I ever seen someone abusing a dog or any animal for that fact, I might go a little nutty on them. And the even sadder part is, for most all breeds, this is very common for back-yard breeders. Ground was too high?hahahaha....
Why didn't you make the ceiling a little taller?
Lack space (upward) I assume?
Good evening Craig, glad you made it my friendGood evening all.
Evening Dale had a pretty good one here my friend how was yoursEvening, all....hope everyone had a fantastic day......!
Feeling better every day Dale thanks for asking my friendHow you feeling Jimi?
Fantastic, Jimi......Evening Dale had a pretty good one here my friend how was yours

The shed already existed on the property when I bought this place. I assume it was meant for storage, but seemed the right square footage for a "beginning" chicken coop. The ceiling is 5-feet at the front and 4-feet at the back. When I made and installed all the roosts and nesting boxes, I was sitting on a clean floor, so the ceiling height wasn't an issue. Why didn't you make the ceiling a little taller?

Thank you Dale I feel the same way, so many people do abuse animals and it's just BSOh, I understand perfectly. If I ever seen someone abusing a dog or any animal for that fact, I might go a little nutty on them.
Hope it isn't anything serious buddyFantastic, Jimi......
Have a doctor appointment in the morning, then I may take a drive up to the grand canyon tomorrow.
Yeah still a big problem worldwide with human abuse too.Thank you Dale I feel the same way, so many people do abuse animals and it's just BS
Nope, just checkup....blood work, the usual.....Hope it isn't anything serious buddy

I hear that buddy lots of assholes out there and it's getting harder and harder to find good peopleYeah still a big problem worldwide with human abuse too.
We would be better off without 1/4 of the humans on the planet if only the proper 1/4 went away.
Problem is, only the good ones seem to die off....
Hey that's great to hearNope, just checkup....blood work, the usual.....![]()
Oddly, I never met the man I bought this place from, but I know his cousin, and if that's any gauge, he must be 5'6" or so. I really do have plans for a full sized coop to build one of these days, but at the moment, no money for materials.Maybe it was built by short people like my wifes family.
Damn short ceiling in the basement and doors on a shed that if you do not duck you wham your head...
I curse her poor departed relatives from time to time when rubbing my skinned old head.
Well, WE are all still here. Does that mean we are bad?Problem is, only the good ones seem to die off....

I can't drive a mile down any street without spotting some idiot texting someone while (trying) to drive. It's really incredible. Freaking cars swerving all over the road with the phone stuck to the steering wheelThen there is the problem of 22.75% of all humans in the USA having lost the productive use of one hand since it is only used for holding a cellular device.
Pedestrian deaths on the rise, which I also blame on cellular devices..
Darned Zombie Apocalypse!
Well, WE are all still here. Does that mean we are bad?![]()
Did you catch my update on the wasp nano?....I am just Bad to the bone
Or is that my bones are bad?

Yep glad you got it sorted out.Did you catch my update on the wasp nano?....![]()
Maybe that's why we are in the same club... doctors tell me all my bones are bad (advanced degenerative [osteo]arthritis). Every bone and joint in this body is affected drastically..I am just Bad to the bone
Or is that my bones are bad?
Back in high school (yeah yeah, when dinosaurs still roamed the EarthWhen a teacher tells you you are advanced it is a good thing.
Not so much with doctors though....
Have you or Lannie searched for any natural remedy for the ailment?Back in high school (yeah yeah, when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth), I heard that word from lots of teachers, and the councilors told me I got the third highest scores ever on the SAT for our high school. The math teacher said he expected me to spend the rest of forever in the basement of some university writing theoretical formulae on the walls and ceiling. The electronics teacher "knew" I would invent things the world had never imagined before. Yes, it makes you feel good. BUT, now that doctors are using it, not good at all. And they keep making it sound worse... 20 years ago, it was "osteoarthritis," then it became "degenerative arthritis," then "advanced degenerative arthritis," and now they have decided I have "advanced degenerative disc disease." Sigh...
We have found things that will halt the progression, but not fix what has already been destroyed. Crumbled bones and spurs floating everywhere cannot be put back together via herbs, and the neurosurgeon suggests that operations are not a viable answer... maybe when the android body is finally invented, they can insert my brain into it (always liked the idea of being Data from Star Crock).Have you or Lannie searched for any natural remedy for the ailment?
Good night Robert see you tomorrowI am going to go beddy bye. Long day planned for tomorrow.
Good night everyone.
Never tried strawberries dehydrated but love banana and apples dehydrated, have to try some when they come into season hereMy mother gave me a bunch of strawberries last weekend....I sliced them up last night and put um in the dehydrator....damn they come out tasty....really concentrates the flavor....now I'll have to take half of them back to her place....she said she didn't have room for them in her refrigerator....now she will have room on the countertop in the ziplock bag. Also dehydrated about 10 lbs of bananas....good lord, they're delicious.
I often think why I didn't search for alternative medicine much earlier in life, would have saved 100,000 of thousands of dollars. My last operation at the mayo clinic cost me $200,000 out of pocket, the charge was $575,000....my shitty insurance at the time paid the 3.75KWe have found things that will halt the progression, but not fix what has already been destroyed. I too wish I had gotten into the alternatives much sooner than I did. Luckily, being a disabled Vet, the VA covers all my medical 100%, so all my operations have never cost me more than the gas money to get to the hospital. Of course, VA doctors are not of the same caliber as Mayo Clinic folks, but I guess you get what you pay for, and "free" usually means slightly less than perfect results. Both knees replaced with titanium joints, which would be $50k plus each to Joe Average, so a little nerve damage doesn't bother me too much. About all I invent is tools I need to perform a particular task. Nothing anyone would ever pay me for.Back in high school (yeah yeah, when dinosaurs still roamed the Earth), I heard that word from lots of teachers, and the councilors told me I got the third highest scores ever on the SAT for our high school. Sorry to hear this, Sarah....sounds like your in the same shape as Rich.About all I invent is tools I need to perform a particular task. Nothing anyone would ever pay me for.
Degenerative disc disease is something I know too much about, all because I have it. Add bone spurs to the mix, and mash nerves between the bone spurs and bulged discs, and I get my moments when I am more crippled up than some people I know at 80+ years old. I already had a double laminectomy, but I had to wait 30 years for it after symptoms started. If I have to wait another 30 years for further treatment, it would be pointless.
G'night, Jimi....soak well my friend...!Well i hear a hot tub of epsom salts water calling my name G'Night my friends
Semantics. In some ways, Rich is in worse shape. In other ways, I am in worse shape. Not sure if it evens things out.Sorry to hear this, Sarah....sounds like your in the same shape as Rich.
I'll change my response to your both in rough shape.Semantics. In some ways, Rich is in worse shape. In other ways, I am in worse shape. Not sure if it evens things out.
