Nice idea for a thread, @SteveS45 !

Since it's still early morning and I'm working at home, I'm vaping Pecan Shortbread with coffee and Diet Mountain Dew in my living room recliner, laptop on a lap desk, checking in at VU.

Have to get back to it! Everyone have a great day!

Oh and @Matty Vapes you and I can be on the wagon together. I quit drinking about 22 years ago. Don't have any sense at all when I drink, never did. Responsible-decision-making abilities just go right out the window.

When I put the new Generator in the shed the other day I saw my smoker and been thinking ever since what I should Smoke with Hickory~! Nothing better then a slow cooked smoked piece of meat or a whole bird~!
Meatloaf. Seriously. If you've never had a smoked meatloaf you're missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures. And corned beef. LOVE smoked corned beef! And the leftovers make an incredible corned beef hash the next morning.

Listen y'all, I had a damn microwaved ham and cheese bagel for breakfast. It was good enough, but y'all are making me crazy talking about all this good, grilled, smoked meat. Now I want thick-cut bacon and country ham and grits and biscuits and scrambled eggs and coffee and homemade cinnamon rolls.
And a steak for lunch. :gaah:

I was heavily into BBQ for a few years - that's actually when I got the name CrazyChef - all the crazy stuff I would 'Q. Even had my own BBQ joint for a little while. Another one of my favorites are atomic buffalo turds - also known as ABTs. They were really big on the BBQ circuit, until they became so popular that they became too generalized and every freakin' housewife in America started making dumbed down versions of them in their ovens. A true bastardization of what used to be an incredible smoked delicacy. On the circuit they were referred to as "BBQ Crack".

I adore barbecue. A lot of people in the South are plain-out snobs about it, but not me. I like damn near every kind of barbecue I've ever tasted. Had some barbecued beef in Dallas once, my only trip ever to Texas, but omg it was good. Even had Carolina-style barbecue in LA once, and believe it or not, it was good! Probably a transplant out there cooking barbecue.

@CrazyChef v2.0 one of the men I work with has a "single bay" cooker. He pulls it to our office once a year and we cook turkeys and hams on it for our office Thanksgiving luncheon. We bake the dressing and mac & cheese and sweet potato casseroles on it, too. My brother-in-law used to have one when he and his wife ran a concession stand at a nearby fishing lake, and we'd go up for pig pickins at their place now and again. Good stuff!

I make my own Tomato Sauce and have 12 Roma plants. Last year I had so many cherry tomato plants I gave a neighbor like 25 of them.

Good evening all my fellow Porch Dwellers~! Planted all 48 Tomato Plants plus a couple of packages of IcebergLettuce and some Romaine. Crossing my fingers that the seeds from last years pole beans germinate. Now it is wine time.

Sitting with wifey on the backside of the house drinking coffee and dripping some grape flavored e-juice in a goon 22. Chilling out before I go inside to watch the ball game at 6.

Sounds nice~!
Indeed it is nice. Was a bit warm today but it's nice back here on the east side of the house now that the sun has swung around to the west with a little cloud cover. Supposed to rain later so it's looking like its going to be humid stuffy night. The mosquito's will be out tonight for sure after the rain passes. Ha ha, no late night walk for me tonight.

How about you Steve, what's your evening plans? Some red red wine perhaps?

Took Dad to the Cardiologist today then came home and planted the garden plus did a little trimming of bushes around and near to garden which led to cutting the back lawn again to pick up the leaves. Put out a few bags of Red Mulch in the flower beds around front and took a quick shower before Chinese Take out~!. Red since just before 5PM~!

And Steve, I did bring home 3 cases of those Hillshire Farms Brats and sausages back with me.
The receiver damaged 3 cases with a forklift.
I was able to salvage 14 packages of them.
Brats are Beer .
The sausages are a Mesquite and Honey flavor and are made up special for some restaurant chain out west and not sold in stores is what I'm told.
Guess what I'm grilling today?

Well since before 8AM was outside finishing putting the Mulch around, gave the front lawn a Diamond shaped cut like a baseball field. Washed down all the furniture, the awning and the cement so all ready for company on Monday and the summer season~!
