well you as a vendor or you as a person either way until cooler head prevail as a vendor you would have to adhere to the law... as a person there are choices some maybe easy others maybe hard... best ask a lawyer for the first part for the second look into making your own DIY.

Thank you so much for sincere advice, I tried DIY, but still worried about the safety issues.maybe I'll do it with some old hands.

Since I started with Tobacco as my first Vape e-Liquids for me it is sort of a non-issue. Although once I found flavors life was Grand I mostly vape Tobacco Flavors. But fear not with one branch of the Government trying to outlaw flavors the other side is trying to Tax the shit out of it. Supposedly flavors were going to be banned weeks ago and now up for a vote in the future. I DIY and I don't plan on dying anytime soon~!

I know, but I can be a real ass if I don't try to be nice. I know how butthurt people can get and I have a tendency to hurt butts without realizing it, so I try to play nice when I can

High strength nicotine safety issues.
As long as you stay away from any nic over 100 mg/ml it is not dangerous to get on skin or such as long as you wash it off reasonably soon.
OF course it is an extreme safety issue with children and pets. Or any idiot that drank it straight.
but juice can be unsafe for them as well.

Wait, I wasn't supposed to drink it straight?

Well, I have not been wanting to hear that some millenial would be mixer decided to not dilute their 100mg nic and pour it into their tank. Like what, you mean this isn’t e liquid for my e cig?

The sad thing is I could see that actually happening...

I know, and it’s kinda a matter of time. I started thinking about it when the so called vape lung thing was new.
Thanks, kids!

can i not use 100 mg nic sublingually?
i need ways to reduce vape lung problems.
on another thread, people were kind enow to point me at nic candy
but putting a few drops under the tongue would be convenient.
i haven;t tried it yet due to fear.
i sure wish someone would tellme it wouldn't make me sick.

I was reading the Are You Done Stocking Up thread at ECF and some guy named Hippie something mentioned making nic lozenges. He said to PM him for info.
This is the one time I wish the two forums would stop being at odds and start sharing ideas before Deeming!

From what I’ve read, you can also put some juice, not undiluted nic base, under your tongue. So, maybe 50mg salts instead of 100mg nic?

thanks, rhi.
i agree.
vapers should not be divided right now.

Suzie, I was thinking about it last night. I’m not sure what mg juice you use, but I’m almost certain you can put a drop of juice under your tongue if you can’t vape. People do it when they’re flying, etc.

I know people use high mg salts here, so that’s why I said the 50mg salts instead of 100mg nic.

Try one drop of your regular juice sublingually and see how you feel. You can always up it. I’ll try to find out more about those lozenges. It sounded like a great idea!

well, i put 4 drops of my 10mg juice under my tongue,
i'm still alive n not very sick.
burns bad tho.
i used peppermint, which might not be wise.
i'm minty fresh n kissable tho.

using nic this way will still take tons of willpower.
i still wanna vape
i guess i really love the action of vaping, but that;s what;s killing me.

i need ways to reduce vape lung problems.

Wait, What lung problems do you have?

I hope you aren't considering drinking eliquid just because the CDC told you not to vape or something.

i started vaping because i was getting short of breath.
vaping helped for a while.
but i enjoy it too much.
i started chain vaping, dragging the vapor way down into my lungs.
that zapped me good.
i can get short of breath while lying on the couch, not moving.

i can still vape but can't let it past my mouth.

Wow I use about 5% in Cromwells custard. I think the highest I ever used was 30% using some natural flavorings.

It could be the flavorings at those percentages.

I’d read a thread at ECF where they were discussing SHTF strategies and sublingual juice was one of them. So was transdermal nic from juice, I think. Plus nic lozenges.

ECF is a repressive place, but usually the preppers there were not wrong about stuff, imho. I’ll have to try the sublingual and see what happens.

Maybe Suzie needs to MTL and lower the flavoring and glycerine?

So was this a preexisting condition? As in before you vaped?

yeah, shortness of breath pushed me into vaping.
i started another thread about using huge amounts of flavorings.
no one thot it a big deal
you guys think that could be a problem?
i hate not inhaling.
i'm making a new batch with triple the nic, to maybe vape less.

i would still recommend vaping to smokers.
if it's 95% safer, someone has to be in the 5%.

Have you tried just glycol and glycerine with no flavors, just nic? Maybe back off the flavors for a bit.

And try mouth to lung vaping instead of deep lung to give yourself a break maybe. I do restricted DL.

Hope you’re okay, Susie.

You may have a PG allergy
Or... it could be the VG

Have you ever tried different PG/VG ratios in your eliquid?

40% flavoring is a LOT of flavoring.

over sweet store bought eliquid has much less than that.

20% flavoring is too much to many DIYers

Zephyr mentioned coil sensitivity. Like to Ni (or stainless for her.)
I think you mentioned about nickel coils once a while back.

When I was using Rich Cinnamon at .4+ after a couple of months I began to have lung issues. My breathing became shallower and I had a burning-irritating feeling that wouldn't stop. Finally, I stopped using RC and it stopped right away.

ok, so i should reduce flavors n vg.
i can do that.
the problem is i read that tanks leak if vg is too low, but i don;t know how low.

glycol n glyseren substitute for vg n pg?
i never heard of that.
how do i use it?

It may be a long road, but I'd only make one change at a time until and if you come across what's making you feel bad.

i would start with documenting each change you make per attempt higher Vg for example say 85 instead of 70 and so on. then use the batch with day 1 , day 2 and so on notes.

i would also start with going Nic and flavorless keep your ratio the same and strength. just take the flavoring out completely use this for a week with your notes then stay flavorless and try higher VG and Less PG at the same strength. if you find removing the flavors to make it easier i would do a little at a time say 2.5 percent per batch.

No, it’s just another way to say VG and PG. VG is vegetable glycerine and PG is propylene glycol.

Try mixing a different ratio of VG and PG, maybe with very light flavors. Like no more than 20% flavors tops. That would be half your flavor percentage now, right?
Then adjust the VG and PG. see how it feels to you.

Also, try not to inhale so deeply. I know it’s hard not to, but I think if you practice you can do it. That may help your breathing a lot.

Remember, you’re one of us here. So we’ll figure out something! There’s a lot of us and we’re a smart bunch of vapers.
Just try not to worry or smoke!:hug:

i don't actually mind flavorless.
i can do that.
the smart thing would be to quit vaping, but i'm not strong enow.

Maybe, but if you need nicotine, what would you do? Smoking would be worse!

If you adjust the way you vape and what you vape, the breathing problems might ease up and then go away. I’m having some problems too, so I’ve got to figure out what’s causing it too.

I hope we both figure out what to do!

Such a great idea! You really hit the nail on the head. Ive got to do that too to some extent to figure out what’s bugging me. But if you don’t keep notes, it’s so easy to forget.

Suzie, I told you that we have some smart vapers here! Lol
