:) Yeah, Im super lucky and privileged to live where I do and be able to do that. I often think I dont actually deserve it to be honest and am thankful I can.

Yeah, I grew up in a more country setting...20mi from much of anything, the nearest neighbor was just in binocular range. Now though, not so much.

Cat woke me like 10-11pm and OFC is now back asleep and I'm awake.

It's nice and quiet yeah, but I can't do much of anything as the lease dictates quiet from 10pm to around 9am. (tenants are encouraged to narc on ppl who break that..smh) And it's not very safe to walk around at night either. Oh well...I have Internets...

Not safe to walk around at night. Sounds like where my misses family lives in Melbourne. Is ok there in the day but transforms at night.
Walk around here at night though in our little town and "if" you see anyone they will just say g'day mate (hello) as they stumble home from the pub or a party.
Sometimes I forget how good I have it where I live and need to remind myself.
Take care and stay safe CaFF.

I had to send my new Dotsquonk in for repair to Dot Co in California- it was not working correctly at all-
The only thing I had to pay for was shipping to get it there- they did an awesome job, great customer service and super fast repairing and sending my mod back to me!

They are soooo easy to deal with. Had a back and forth email with one of their reps for a while. She was just pleasant as could be, like talking with a friend. Top notch.

Me, have a squonk bottle and RDA soaking, needing to replace one I'm using that's not working so great. Dug stuff out of my stash box, feels like getting something new all over again.

Yes great customer service- I had my mod fixed and back to me in a week- the whole process was quick and easy and Whitney is a dream to work with even with all the Covid-19 crisis, they were able to get this done for me and I am so pleased and only had to pay to ship it there!
I wish my latest Asmodus repair was able to go this smoothly, but my Minikin V2 Kodama was sent just before the Covid-19 Lock down for a non- warranty repair- has been sitting at Asmodus since March 12th and no idea of if or when they will repair it- they are not doing repairs at all now, I just hope that they open their repair department soon and can get my mod fixed.
Completely different experience when I had to send my Asmodus EOS 2 in for repair about 6 months ago- great customer service and the repair was completed in a day and the mod shipped back to me very quickly and only had to pay for shipping as it was still under warranty.

That's terrible! They should just ship you a different one.

I also talked with Whitney. Super sweet and helpful.

The Kodama is stabwood and I think they are all sold out there now, this one was sent to me by a friend, knowing I could get it fixed at Asmodus-
The repair would be quick if their repair department was operational- ugh!
Fingers crossed that they open soon and get this fixed and sent back to me. Damn Covid-19!!!!!!!!!

Finally got out on my own since lockdown! Yep, I offered the misses to come and she said "no, you go yourself, I know you love that". Did not need to be told twice.
Ahh, all on my own, nobody else anywhere near me, saw nobody, vaped and even found a bit of gold. No fortune but enough for 2 packs of Zeus coils :)
Loved every minute of it, totally switched the world off for 5 hours.

The bush before the Zeus was unleashed. Just creeping in on the right.

I managed to escape the house today too! :bliss: I ordered some stuff for store-pickup at Kohls earlier this week, and picked it up Tuesday... but one of the items was wrong, so I had to go and exchange it for the item I actually ordered -- thank goodness, some stores are open now, though strictly enforcing the distance and masking crap. So, I got the right item, and then we went to Kroger for a spot of grocery shopping, and to buy a Kohl's gift card for our son's birthday next week; it's really the only local place that has decent golf clothes for halfway reasonable prices, and he needs some summer golf duds.

The mask I made for myself was a bit too small, so I'm going to make another effort tonight/tomorrow, so I can go with the ol man when he goes to Walmart. Luckily I have a buttload of various narrow elastics, from all my sewing adventures. :)

Thx again for that Vaperstek coupon, @Huckleberried -- it's still good for 10% off till the end of the month, anyone else needs some nicotine or some of the flavors that VT carries -- Letmeout is the code. So once that gets here, I'll be just a smidge over 5L to the good on my nicotine stash. Smoke nazis and nanny-fascists and the FuckingDumbAsses (a/k/a FuckingDishonestAssholes) can all kiss my ass.

Got my absentee ballot in the mail today. :) :) :)

Yeah I have to shop today. Will wait till after lunch, less people then. Saturday shopping before lunch is always packed. I need to get some winter tops. I feel like taking a pair of tongs with me to pick them up and look at them. I'll go for the ones at the bottom of the piles that nobody has handled I think. I feel like I'm becoming a germaphobe!
Good to hear you are doing well.

Wrapped a couple coils today. Got this spool of pre built wire yesterday. Never tried this brand, hell, never heard of this brand. But I like staples and framed staples.
Normally buy coilology spools but had a hard time finding them in stock.

These have a finer outer wrap than I have been using. They ramp up a little quicker. Ohm a bit lower too tho. Cools down quicker.

So far I'm enjoying these.

Also got some akattack alien wire on a spool. Haven't tried those yet.

I ordered a spool of Wotofo Framed Staple Clapton wire that I really like, and had ordered some regular fused Clapton wire of theirs before. Now I can't find those wires to stock up on at a good price anywhere!

If you do happen to run across it, it's good wire, and was a steal at the price I paid. 20 ft spools for about $6.

6 bucks for 20 feet? That's a banging deal. The wire in my picture was close to 14 bucks for 6 feet.
But like I said, everywhere i looked for ni80 staples or framed staples was out of stock. So to Amazon i went...

When I was looking this morning, seems like I found fused Clapton and Juggernaut, but no framed staple Clapton. But yes, it's a great deal, and the wire isn't junk by any means. Might look again, never hurts to have an extra spool or two.

Actually, I did find it at wotofo.com for $9.95 a spool. Don't know what their shipping is. But even $10 is still a good deal for 20 feet.

www.evcigarettes.com has the framed staple Clapton wire for $10.99

I think wotofo's shipping is horrendous. Most of the direct from manufacturers are.
Could be wrong. I know that Kangers is horrible.

Installed the quad core aliens I made yesterday in the C2MNT then slapped it on my Overlord

Not where I like my ohms (.13 to high) but it’s a really good vape so I’ll live
I'm thinking about this RDA. You're the very first person I've seen who has the coil placement how I would do it if I had it. At least to start.

It’s a decent RDA, did suffer a tad in voltage loss, and the positive pin is on the shorter side.

It’s vapes well, looks good...and a simple polishing of the threads on the 510 pin made a world of difference.

:giggle: Very true. It also had quite the groundhogs day feel to it. How many times can you really post the same exact thing?:cuss2:

Well, I have an opinion about why that might be, but it wouldn't be a good idea to voice it here. That thread got very bizarre to me, and it ventures into territory that I don't have much of a sense of humor about. I've had more than my share of experience with other people's bizarre behavior. Over time I've learned to just slam the door on it when I've had enough.

Hmm, I’d no idea a certain someone was so nasty. Changed my entire opinion of them. But no wonder they hang out elsewhere now! :giggle:

Well, what did I do today vape related? Um, ... I vaped and then, vaped some more. :) ;) Figure here in a little I may be doing some general cleaning of gear. Beyond that coils are still alright in most everything. Thinking it's been roughly six months since I changed the coil on the brass Copervape Wasp (scratching head over weather to insert a period or question mark). *chuckles* It's still doing okay.

It's been months since I've had to change the coils in anything. Clean and rewick then good to go. Love my Killer coils.

Decided not to put the new-to-me Griffin RTA in the vape stash, so it's in a bunch of clean and shiny pieces ATM. :D

Such a nice and simple tank.
That was my first tank. I got one before ever trying a subohm tank. They were $40 Back then lol. Ridiculous I know... I still love them and have at least a half dozen of them around here. They still perform beautifully and have a nice draw to them. They're a little tall for today's standards but who cares.

If you enjoy using it, maybe get a Vaporesso Gemini. Five bucks at Wet Vapes and they're pretty nice too. They might even be constructed a little better. Hope ya like it!

Funny you mention the price..I got it on that crazy clearance sale for like $10...note the sticker...

I also love the TF-RTA, DIgiflavor Fuji, and my Ohmega Alpha One tanks. But yeah, the Griffin was one of the first of it's breed. :)

Good memories there.

Never did get an Alpine, Doggy, or Zeus....yet.

Made some more Aliens and stripped my Murdered out Viking Grip

The coating peeling irked me enough to attempt a two tone finish.

Didn’t sand the center or firing clip.

When it patinas some is should look interesting

I've still not used the Gemini I got from them. I built it, and couldn't get the coils to glow evenly. One side would get hot way faster than the other. I messed and messed with it, made sure all the screws were tight, and finally I put it back in the box and set it aside to mess with later. Later hasn't arrived yet.

Did get that great big Griffin going. That thing has some damn nice vapor and flavor. It's just so huge, though! Needs to be on an Aegis, really, and I've taken my Aegis out of commission for a while. That would be a good match-up, though, when I get some batteries to bring the Aegis back to life.

I'm absolutely stoked about these Aromamizers I've gotten recently. I love these damn things. VapeNW had/has the V2 tor I think it was $9.99. Thinking about ordering two more to have just in case.
