It is a picture of the literal tail end of a rocket. He was making a sight gag joke regarding my question of do you hit a vape like a cigarette, or bong. His reply is "I hit it like a rocket".

That's why i also said:

"Bless your precious heart" dear sister. And no that "bless your heart" isn't a snide Southern one. It is a little sarcastic, tongue in cheek but not meant as snide. You sugah, needs to get out more. *chuckles*

"Wonder twin powers activate, ... form of a tsunami to rock my sister's world, and show her all kinds of living and life so she catches up." *chuckles*

Might even show you the fun of skydiving sex, just to enjoy screwing up my knees again. *lol*

I know, "naughty, knotty, noughty brother". Sorry, couldn't help it. Nothing t'all meant other than good clean fun. Think you know me well enough to know that.

Just please don’t wonder twin TV at me, I’ve been avoiding it for about two years!! It’s like I’m living in the 50’s, though. All that thair high technology stuff, who knew? :giggle:

That's one of dem saturn 5 rdas, gotta git me one.?

In all seriousness, sitting here vaping on a Tiny Demon RDA. Look over at a Wasp Nano RDA. The Wasp looks like a Saturn 5 by comparison.

I can get a Trinity Glass Works U.S. 1 clone RDA and a Geek Vape Athena mod to hit like a rocket. The mod runs around $70 retail though I know the person who sent it on to me likely paid only half that or less. The RDA clone I think at most I paid $7 to get when the authentic run about $40 now. So at most it may be a $40 to $50 kit.

I do fine making it hit like a rocket using a single coil. Imagine if I used dual coil I would reach Neptune in short order. :) I don't like the bother of dual coils, besides dual coils for a single celled 18650 is a bit of overkill battery longevity wise.
The only thing I have from Trinity Glass is the Competition Glass Cap (for the 24mm Goon).

I don't obsess over how hard a mech hits, I'm happy just as long as it hits hard. Same deal about going for 18650 vs 20700 vs 21700... I know a lot of mech users are aversive to the older 20700 tubes now, but personally I don't see that as a problem because the Sanyo 2070C battery does get the job done nicely, and, so does the Samsung 20S, be it in an 18650 tube or by using an adapter in a 20700 tube. Things I try to look into before I buy a mech, aside from the aesthetics, which are entirely subjective of course, are the quality of the machining, and technical design issues like excessive arcing, a hot button and/or 'biting' (a lot of stainless steel tubes have biting), poorly designed and poorly machined screw threads, battery rattle, long-term durability of those parts that can not easily be replaced or are next to impossible to find a replacement for, an uncomfortable button throw, a crunchy/inconsistent button and the incapability to sort out various annoyances/problems via upgrades and/or easy tweaks─e.g., whether I can make the arcing problem or biting problem go away after I buy a pure solid silver firing contact, if buying it is feasible. I love fancy looks, just not if they are all about fashion/trendiness. Most of the fanciest ones I own are too valuable for me to be using them all the time, let alone always carry them with me every place I go. They're completely impossible to find now.

That’s pretty. I’ve got no idea what arcing is or biting, but maybe one day I will! :giggle: Hope you’re having a good weekend!

Arcing is when (a) tiny spark(s) occur(s) between the two contact surfaces inside an electric switch right before they touch and/or right after they stop touching. Arcing marks, or arcing damage are tiny blackened bumps and pits resulting from arcing, and, if using a mech mod the sharp tips that are typifying of these tiny bumps need to be flattened with regular maintenance. The main benefit of using a constant contact type switch inside a mech mod is to prevent arcing on the battery itself, but the tiny bumps on a battery are easy to flatten by using the Heavy Duty version of 3M scouring pads so, if the arcing is pretty mild, if you can adhere to going through regular maintenance, then technically, a constant contact switch is not necessarily a better solution, as arcing still occurs on the inside of a constant contact switch. Using a pure solid silver firing contact instead of using a copper one is what heavily reduces arcing. But depending on how severe the arcing that occurs, you might get away with using just a copper one.

As for 'biting', it's when a small portion of current passing through the metal tube penetrates into the skin of your hand, not as annoying as getting struck with a cattle prod, but can be annoying enough that it justifies getting a pure solid silver firing contact for the mech mod in question so then it becomes another matter of knowing before you buy, as not all mech mods give you the option to make such an upgrade, or maybe the pure solid silver firing contact might be sold out everywhere so then you'd need to go looking for a custom built version of that. The silver plating on a silver plated copper contact tends to wear off over time, usually fast, but this isn't necessarily always a problem. It all actually depends. Just about everything does in a mech mod. Especially if you, like me, build it to really low ohms.

I find that being a true high wattage vaper, going typically above 120 watts, often times also going for a mech that uses more than just one battery, is what tends to more easily reveal limitations in mech oriented vaping hardware in general. I.e., not only different mech mod differences, but also in terms of different atomizer differences and different complex coil type differences, also including the wire sizes and the various different metal types that they are made of as well as including all the other specs that define the coil build, like, the number of core wires, the number of wraps, the inner diameter of the coils, etc., and different effects caused by all the various many tweaking/parameters that define performance as for how the vape exeprience tastes and feels. Further, this part of the vape equation isn't just a matter of getting decent coils in cohort with getting a decent atomizer. They need to be matched to one another also in addition to that.

Different combinations of factors yield different results so, it becomes a long list of trial and error strategy attempts based on experience. Experience, gained through real-world comparisons as opposed to living with too many assumptions. Many don't like this challenge. It's like a gnomish engineering, tinkerer type of vape, or almost. The main driving force is always the satisfaction I get from learning what does and doesn't work, it's that little party feeling hitting me in the face after finally getting it just right how I like it. Complex coils in an RDA sitting on top of a mech is a whole adventure, like, it is an exploration filled with creativity and learning, mainly also from other people's thoughts and experiences, using others' ideas to create new ideas in an ongoing evolutionary process. All the mech mods with all the RDAs are essentially just paperweights, if I don't have great performing coil builds for vaping.

Although you have to agree there is a market share of trendy devices that run from $80 US to around $200, which do facilitate being trendy. Everyone goes lush over the newest mod with temperature control for example. Suddenly all the major manufactures offer high priced temperature control mods.

You're thinking of what I consider the nose bleed high end in cost mods. Ones that start at roughly $500 US and can go as high as the sky in cost/s. Yes, I agree those are indeed rare devices and will agree some do warrant the exorbitant prices. Some most definitely do not though, and well the whole status of "I paid loads for this rare mod" can become its own trend.

I know there are people conscious of their purchasing. I also know that Barnum often said a sucker is born every second.Sometimes I'm left to wonder over some people. You're not in that class. Some of the devices I've seen you post are worthy devices. Think I've only seen one, and could not tell you which one, I was left thinking "um, boy did someone rip him off".

Hope I've conveyed the meaning I was indicating by high end "trendy" mods. I was not meaning the uranium glass beaded tube mods that you need to import from Chernobyl for example. I know, don't tempt you to buy one. I won't either, that glass breaks it leaks radioactivity. Don't want you mutating any more than you are already from vaping. :)
I never bought any mod that I would say was a ripoff. There's still pros and cons to every one of them, but no, I don't buy impulsively... not even my first mod, which was the Wismec RX2/3, that I know a lot of people kept knocking on, when the reality is that they did not know what they were talking about. To prove my point, that I really do know what I am talking about, not too long ago in another thread someone deemed it necessary to bash another Wismec mod, just like I had expected would happen, by claiming that the ArcticFox firmware can't fix hardware problems, when the reality is that the problem at hand was easy to remedy, merely by changing an easy setting in ArcticFox. Such is the difference between an obvious troll and an experienced user. The latter user is me.

See, there you explain a discriminating consumer. Most consumers are not so discerning in what they buy. I too even buying, or receiving what I consider mid range gear am discerning in what is used.

$30 to $70 for what I consider mid range, mod, RDA kit sets my baseline. I might pay up to $50 for a really decent mod alone. May go as high as around $30 for a good RDA/ (possibly tank). My low end cost for a mod I figure no less than $10 if it's still decent and not cheap junk, atomizers I'll not go any lower than $5 unless again it's not cheap junk.

I don't care too much for "pretty". I rather gear work, hopefully be durable. Then, I've lived life of spartan utilitarianism. That's how I appreciate most anything, needs to do the function, possible serve a few functions, be durable with light reasonable maintenance.

I did buy a junker once. It was when I first got into squonking. The "Terminator Squonk Kit" off of Fast Tech. It was listed as a mechanical mod. It had wires, was a thin plastic and likely could have been a live grenade easily. My thought process was wanting to get into squonking. "Spanky" was nudging me into it. He suggested the kit but I'm not sure he realized how cheap it had been.

My cheapest mods are the ones from Wismec. At the time when I got them the RX2/3 was 90 Euros, versus 96 Euros for the RX300 Black Carbon. Those were the normal retail prices where I live, or actually 96 Euros was the normal price for the RX300 Silver or Black, but I got the Black Carbon for the same price even though normally it was 110. :p After the initial price had finally come down, I got another RX300 Black Carbon for backup so another 97 Euros was spent on that one. As for my atomizers, my cheapest ones are the Wotofo 25mm Troll RDA 2, which was my first atomizer, and that not only got me instantly off smoking, but also, before my first vaping month was over, got me into serious coil building SSFCs. Very closely followed by the Dead Rabbit RDA and the Druga RDA, for 40 Euros each. For the sake of comparison, the black 24mm Goon RDA, which was my 2nd atomizer, was 90 Euros. I still own all of my vape gear BTW... never tried to sell even one thing. I don't trust atomizer clones. Atomizers come into direct contact with what you are going to inhale. Clones are made in the Shenzhen area, where there are hundreds of companies that are specialised in counterfeiting so, what guarantee do you have that you're not inhaling all sorts of really bad things like cadmium? Talk to me more about Chernobyl. It's also a matter of principle to me. It's about moral values and about supporting real people who put real effort into real innovative product development. Without those people's hard work and creativity, all things vaping will turn to shit. I know that 90 Euros for the black Goon was pretty steep. But hey, it's an authentic black Goon. I mean, with that Trinity Glass cap on it that I mentioned earlier, believe you me when I say that, on that dark nickel plated Dragon mod by League of Scoundrels (LO$), it looks fucking stunning. So then, you're looking at an irreplaceable proud made in USA real piece of vaping history. ?

I definitively appreciate that point of view as well. Had one grandfather give 40 years of life in the Steel Town USA, Youngstown OH, Wheeling WV. Pittsburgh, PA and the surrounding are know there about as Tri-State. That grandfather worked in steel mills, foundries. He was a teamster.

Another grandfather had run a 40 acres farm, dairy cattle, steers, geldings. He also had a Victory Garden each year. People come give him work too. We ran fence, put out garden, harvested. He was the one that got my permitted to work away from home at age fifteen.

A third grandfather served in a war, came home and worked another fellow's dairy until he bought a home off him. Rightly ought to say grandma bought the home. She asked the fellow what he wanted for a brushed in, bramble over corner lot. He told her give him a dollar to do the paperwork and she did right away. Then, Pap told her to go pick out a trailer.

Wife's grandfather was a combination of the last two of my grandfather's. All four of these cantankerous, stubborn mules showed me what that life is and how to live it, Every one of them come at me with one thought in mind. "Ah, a spry young buck. Let's see if I can work him death, save myself." I still live, sadly as life has it, none of them do and not for lack of me trying to save them.

So, yes I can appreciate and respect supporting those who create, innovate, do the job. I sincerely can. That noted a good number don't want support. No, they seem more interested in some castle in the sky for what they sell products at retail. And I don't mind paying for quality up to a point either. Trouble being, much as you support fine American small businesses, not all Americans get to jet the world over or dine on caviar from Moscow.

Me and wife for example live below what my country designated as the poverty level. Yes, we've recently come to some windfalls. We have a solid plan in place for that though. We are investing in our future, to have shelter. Yes, we can spend a little without "breaking" our "bank". Still we need to remain frugal as money we got surely won't stay around.

Me and her live by the principle of not worrying about money. No point worrying we don't have it. No point worrying if we do. Either way, it comes and goes in most efficient transient form. All of this is why I will buy clones and don't exactly see it as theft.

Hell I use Linux because I will not, nor cannot afford paying $150 plus yearly subscription for Windows. Bullshit I say, especially when it is bloated, insecure and in general a piece of dung. That and you can not legally fix it to do as you need now, all the contractual jargon forbids it. And Microsoft has eyes on your computer, oh yes they do.

So yes, can agree and respect your view. It's a valid point of view to have and most admirable. I may desire having similar view but as of yet cannot afford it. But no, I'm not poor nor a victim. I don't state fact of our finances openly as such here for sympathy, pity. No, not at all. I am merely expressing why my views are as they happen to be. I don't pity myself, in fact at times I need stopped from being hard on myself.

I'm not some seventeen year old boy what can lift three ton tractors six inches up in the air any more. N'ah, lucky to get it up to an inch, or two now, and then drop it right away. *shaking my head* You want to play Superman, have at it, glad for you. :) Not all of us can anymore. *chuckles* We got broken doing it.

People here eat rice pie. ?

Good thing I enjoy a variety of food. Also good I've gotten used to people again. At one point even my wife needed to use care in waking me.

Used to be rather hyper-alert, to the point I struck people before they touched me above the waist to wake me. Have gotten calmer.

No less than he deserves, scaring me with some next level H.P. Lovecraft imaginings of a twisted BDSM "torture" session he mentioned. *gulps, sticks out tongue in @Carambrda direction*

Not that I mind a little teasing but I don't want room 203 again, no way. They use electrodes to lobotomize. No thank you. I'm still tossing off sparks occasionally from last visit.

And trust me that style of vaping isn't good for anyone. ;) Ha! I can steer it right back. Why? Because I write and know how, have the capacity. No, I'm no artist, merely a hack.

Speaking of hack, got a tiny tube looking mint tin yesterday. I keep telling folks a sardine tin and thimble can vape for you. Hm, might hack this mint tin into a small squonker for a Demon Killer RDA.

Hey, do you use a Wasp Nano? I’m trying to figure out if I should get the regular or the 22 or 23mm one?

No, I do not use any of the three Wasp Nanos I own. He says taking a toke from one on the Athena mod. I for sure do not use the 22 mm ones, they are not so good. He says smiling that vaper's satisfied with the vape smile.

But I'm not anyone.

Of course not, hon. You're beyond being any Juan. Which is good. I was getting tired of all the Juans promising any Juan could do it but no Juan ever being able to do it. *ahem*

You're not going to crack me that easily, bub. I still think I can hit a rocket no matter the style of RDA I use. For me it's in how I build and I'd think that the case for most people too. So, I'll stay a mid range direct lung vaper thanks, at least until I win a lottery, marry a wealthy uncle or the like. :)

So, I take it that’s a yes! I’ll have a look at the 22mm ones. Thanks. I know Crom uses that but I’m not sure which one. I’d no idea there were different models.

See how you are, just taking stuff, even my stuff. Ha! It's okay I wasn't going to wear the blue flannel today anyway. Hehe. No, I'll just get your hubbay's nice green bomber shirt. Hell yeah! I'll go running around stirring up the local SWAT teams. Hehe.

But yes, I use the 22 mm Wasp Nanos and they do just fine, exceedingly so in fact, ergo I got three and may buy more. For around $20 a pop they're a steal.

Not those danged Juans again!! Some Juan might hit you for that.

Yeah, I know. I mean no disrespect at all of any person being Hispanic. I have worked with, lived around and with Hispanic people quite well. The same with Russians, Lao, Thai, Cambodians, Japanese, Chinese, black people, white people, red people and even one one or two blue looking people. The blue was from Woad, yes they were Celts. I'm the kind of person what sees people as people. I've no sense of entitlement but do feel every person is entitled to respect, dignity, liberty, justice, equality. Of course I'm, told I'm an idealist too. So there's that.

*wanders on to get breakfast since it's clear @Carambrda isn't feeding him this morning*
Rice pie at 6 o'clock in the morning is even worse for you than those artery clogging waffles so IMO you should just be glad I'm not feeding you. :D

I don't eat waffles in the morning. Lucky if I brunch around 11 am locally, even then not one for waffles. I like eggs, sausage. Another favorite is two pan cakes with sausage gravy over them, scrambled eggs tossed in. Like a nice cup of coffee.

As far as what is enjoyed getting to breakfast well that can be nearly anything. Not adverse to much so long as everyone enjoys. :)

But I'm not most people either, so... I'm still not too worried. :giggle:

Not sure you would worry much anyway. That would be why you had someone with you, let them worry for you. :) You and that damn Saturn 5 RDA. Hit that and rumble five city blocks. You're fortunate I dismissed the emergency services unit what responded. One of the firemen was cute too, she had on an extra O2 bottle. Think she was the one designate to get people out.

Just send him some Biscoff Lotus biscuits and some chocolate from a good bakery. He’ll be your friend for life!

Oh hush, now you've revealed how easy I am. Drat! I'd holler for dad to punish you but he'll only laugh at me, throw his hands in the air, swearing mom has something of his locked up. Hmph. I ought to conspire with @JuicyLucy. No, she'd only tell me to use tampons as wick material. *sighs, shrugs*

I think this pic help him to explain these four type vape; They are the most popular styles at present;

I like a mechanical squonk box vape, combining three different styles. I use RDAs, or rather sqounking RDAs.

Are ladies vapes even a thing? 😂😂😂😂

Um, yeah they are really. And being honest some of them are so chic and sleek I like the looks of 'em. But I seem keen on sticking with basic manly blacks, grays/greys/gr ehs in box, or tube form. Not quite got into all frilly or the hot pinks. Then, I'm just kind of middle of the road in just near everything. :)

Well, there are other stylistic accoutrements available for feminine vaping gear. In general vaping is very much a unisex culture, market, industry. Men also use dildos. Why is that germane? Look at some tube style mods once. Think you'll comprehend the sub-textual perspective.

Although that may be a little flippant it is also reality. I'm not discounting female vapers in any way. Glad they do vape in fact. Glad anyone does and avoids regular tobacco cigarettes. What I am conveying though is the market, culture really doesn't emphasize one gender over another.

No need of that exists, vaping is for people. People are all varying genders, sexual orientations, political parties, religions, nationalities, creeds, ethnicity.

Vaping like death isn't concerned with the label you define yourself with. You can vape, or not. If that offends maybe it is better you move along to doing something else.

I’m sorry, but a “ladies’ e-cigarette” sounds totally suspect, anyway. Do real ladies vape differently from guys? Or do they want those OG gas station ones that look like plastic cigs and light up at the end? You’d have to be really dedicated to quit with those!!
