A surf reel, a Kabar knife , Drag S .....
Hi. Surf reel. Mad keen fisherman here. What do you fish for or catch?
I used to fish salt water when I lived on the coast but just go for freshwater fish now.
Got a cheapo, but made with good steel from Sweden, bait/fishing knife delivered yesterday. A Bahco.
Got the orange version so as not to lose it if dropped or put down.
And a Berkley fishing bag with two trays in it containing about 30 soft plastics, 4 hard body minnows, jig heads and heaps of hooks and sinkers. Bag was just $29 Aus. It was worth it for the lures alone. Knife just $14.

A dr heater. Inferred heater. Best 120$ ive spent(non vape related..lol) in a while. This thing kicks ass. I hate apartment living when it comes with shitty elec heaters from the 1970's. Problem solved.

Don't forget cheap shipping. They have cheap shipping too.
I've gotten a couple noisy crickets, a 454 big block and some other stuff from them. Always good.

The shipping has costed me more than the shipping but I haven't spent more than $6 dollars yet~! Crazy Prices~! All Authentic also.

I received an email from them today. Free Shipping and LOTS of great markdowns. Too bad I don't do mechs and MTL.
Also $$ off certain cart total thresholds.

Bought a new home theater receiver and a powered subwoofer. Been wanting to replace my old sony receiver for a long time, and been wanting a decent, inexpensive powered sub too. It's a nice addition to the 65 inch tv we just got on black friday for next to nothing. From Sturgeon to Sunfish , I have caught them all , mostly by mistake but hey that is fishing . I fish to relax . I'm not one of those people that fires off if they don't catch anything . Its just fishing ... As far as gear goes .... WAAAYYYY to much shit to keep count anymore , if I see something I think might work , it comes home with me . Good score on the bag my man . That knife btw looks VERY enticing !! LOL . All the best in the new year . Tight lines ..

I watched a show there with a guy from the UK taken to fish for your Sturgeon.
They were insane in size!
Im envious of what you catch there to be honest.
Our water ways here are very few and far between. When I was on the coast in both Vic and Qld, especially Qld. I was spoilt. Macks, tuna, sharks, big salmon etc, but back in Vic my best is a 11 lb brown trout. Qld were so big I couldn't land many and broke them off.
But still think your Canada fish would have my eyes water. ?
Sounds like fisherman paradise!

Folks please keep a good eye on your financial accounts for the next little while. I think the hackers are out. I guess with the distributions from the government, they figure most everybody has some money right now.

I saw two transactions I didn't recognize in the checking account yesterday, called the bank, and the lady said yes, the Fraud Dept just caught those. They were done with my husband's Visa check card, so they had to deactivate and reissue his card.

I know not everyone is in a place to have credit cards, and this is the main reason 99% of my purchases are made with them.

Fraud protections and instant customer service to remedy any discrepancies. In app customer service is fast... and calls generally are connected live within minutes.

Even with your bank, Citi and Wellsfargo you can set limits to your cards linked.

These limits can’t be bypassed without text approval or an actual call with said bank.

I do hate thieves, but there are safe guards we can take to minimize exposure to these digital thefts.

I had credit cards, until my finances went belly-up over the last two or three years, but I totally agree with what you're saying, and understand that using a check card presents a much larger risk than a credit card. Fortunately these two transactions were really small, but that's not always been the case. Some thief hit a card of mine for $701.00 one time, a Target purchase, of all things. I eventually got my money back, but it took a while.

I have thought about using my Paypal Cash Mastercard for vape purchases and may start doing that. I could keep just enough money in my Paypal balance to cover the purchases I'm making, and then the risk is almost nil.

It's easy to get too comfortable with this kind of thing.

Just picked this up from Walmart, now it's time to order more nic :)

I got what looks like the same model for free, used. Unfortunately, the only place to keep it is the garage & the only power in there is one little, 2-pronged plug on a light bulb socket. Probably not made to supply enough power 24/7/365. Unwilling to pay for an electrician to get it working. Got what should, barring disaster, be a lifetime supply of nic in the kitchen freezer but, for it to fit, a lot is still in the plastic jugs it came in. Don't want to be vaping oxidized sludge infused with toxins 10 years from now so have to figure out something. *sigh*
Anyway, nice purchase! May it serve you well.

Ordered a small chest freezer, since the carriers are all gonna get iffy, and Nic is my only real supply concern. I think it's way smaller than the one @Nailz posted, but being specifically for Nic, it should be plenty of room...

My latest purchase was super sexy. (Heavy sarcasm). Pvc pipe and primer and glue for fixing the fucking plumbing that busted all over the place during the heavy freeze last week or so. Been close to a week and a half now with little to no running water, been just absolute tits. Patched one spot, found water seeping at another and there's at least one or two more pipes I have to tackle tomorrow. And that doesn't include the kitchen sink drain that got jacked. Fucking HATE winter.

Underside of my place pretty much looks a lot like this.

Does it look like it meant to be driven good

I've never had a speeding ticket in the US, but my wife is expecting me to get one with having this :giggle:
Nice car, I definitely don't need one. I could get a speeding ticket in a daewoo. lol. My cousin and I were borrowing my aunt's car, like a 90's geo metro. One of those ridiculous things with 3 cylinders that gets like 50mpg (and you wish it didn't). Managed to get pulled over in California making a left and it was raining, the tiny ass tires chirped a little around the corner when I down shifted (to 2nd mind you). Boom, pulled over. I have a feeling the cop saw my blonde 20yo cousin more than he was concerned with my driving. Tried to tell me I 'spun the tires'. Was like you're shitting me right? I could pop the door open, reach my foot down like a skateboard and pedal this turd faster. What a putz. Haha.

Almost wish it'd gone to court. Could see the judge now 'says here you were spinning the tires in an exhibition of speed - in a.. geo? Do I have that right?'

My mother had one of those pieces of shit. She said she felt like she needed to get out and push it up hills. I just said, well you're the one who bought the damn thing, just being a cheapskate. Have fun with it.

Don't know if you got pulled by a State Trooper, but some of them have NO sense of humor.

When I saw the pic of @Nailz new car, that's the first thing that went through my mind. It's a cop magnet. Back in the day I had a red Mustang, and that damn car along with me still being a teenager cost me my driver's license twice. Gotta love a muscle car, though. Nothing quite like 'em. They are fun as hell to drive.

No it was a local city cop. I was out of town, well actually born there but no longer live there. Haven't lived in California since I was a kid. That geo was a turd, thought I was going to get run over driving up over the mountain to get to Santa Cruz. A fricken bus passed me. I'd already downshifted to 4th and then to 3rd and it was choking to get up the hill in 3rd, had to hit 2nd a couple times. Felt like I was wearing one of those 'lil tykes' plastic cars around my waist from a pair of suspenders, leaning out the window like 'sorry.. sorrrryyy'. lol.

And yea, CHP have no real sense of humor. Not like the cops out here in the midwest, the cop who was out of his town's jurisdiction I blew past. Shaking pissed when he got me pulled over, threatened to mail me a ticket. My big mouth and off sense of humor I called back 'Ok, I'll mail you a check'. lol. Can't have that kind of fun with the cops out there.

I just have rotten luck I think. Had gotten an 84 chevy heavy half ton with a smaller 7" lift on it and 33" tires. Only had it maybe a month, spotted this gal in a lifted 4x4. She was scootin along through traffic so I was trying to keep up. Tires were just fat enough I couldn't really light them up, instead the whole ass end of the truck was hopping. So does she get pulled over? No, just me. Pulled into a parking lot, tried to set the parking brake. No parking brake, almost rolled over the cop's car. Not making a good first impression. That booger cited me for everything. In addition to the exhibition of speed ticket, lane changes without signaling, he starts looking at my truck. He goes tinted windshield? Mmmhmm. Walks around and sees blue egg lights on the back. He's like is this an emergency vehicle? No sir. Ugh. I go they're not even on, he says still counts. Looks underneath - mud flaps too short. Crap. Asks me to roll my driver's window up a little, pulls out a tint meter and slips it over the glass. Too dark. Son of a bitch, come on. lol.

So yea, no muscle cars for me. Too tempting.

Turns out the water pipe and cement were good purchases. Lacking in sex appeal but after dealing with no running water for over a week definitely critical. Pretty sure I got it all patched up, will do another look under the house tomorrow. So far so good, I didn't hear water works. First hot shower in going on two weeks and after tromping around in cold mud and the muck was definitely much needed and appreciated. Damn near living like a rockefeller now, can that flushes without manual filling, water in a shower, hot AND cold water to all the sinks.

Got two 1 L bottles of unflavored VG juice at 18mg/ml nicotine strength. Bottles got here and they're only 960 ml. Wife said she might write them a not so polite email for me. That extra 40 ml off each bottle for me is a month of vaping. She doesn't like paying near $60 and getting gyped like that.

Ours is a cross between the Heritage and Fat Boy- we had to order that in '95 and wait for 8 months- couldn't walk into a bike shop and just buy one. I still have the plaque that came with the bike- that it was custom made for my hubby. Sad to give up riding- we went everywhere charity runs every weekend, bike nights, Myrtle Beach Bike week- with our friends for many years. Hubby took it to Sturgis, I didn't go that time, just before we traded it for the Allante.
Funny thing the Allante is the exact colors of our Nostalgia- great reminder and we are still in the wind, just that it is 4 wheels now instead of two.

Had a fun day getting stuff for the garden. First a fun trip to walmart for buckets they had on sale. Said 'set of 2' for like $5. They tried to sell them to me for $5/ea and said 'well we don't carry them in sets'. Umm, your website say ya do. I said good thing you weren't fresh out of buckets, would you have sold me hair curlers cause that's what you have on hand? When I mentioned the website the manager says well that's the website. Yea, and? It's your website. Sure as fuck ain't MY website is it. Like look at your name tag. Look at the front of the building you're working in. Look at the logo on the website. Pretty familiar doncha think? Was a wally world branded bucket. Finally they said well we'll give it to you for that price then, as customer satisfaction. Or stick the entire thing up your ass and I'll keep my money, either way chief.

Next got to home dildo. Man that store is a trainwreck. Look for cedar fence posts, all up and down the lumber aisles. Found one set of dog eared posts, no tag on them. Didn't look like cedar. Ask a guy he's like oh they're outside in front. Of course they are, why the fuck would wood products be in 'lumber'. They're on the driveway like a garage sale. Head all the way back to the front of the store, no cedar posts. "We don't have any". Good gravy here we go again. Well your site says ya do. So he checks - 'oh umm, yea says we have like 570 of them. Maybe in back?'. 15min later here comes a forklift with cedar pickets plopping them out front.

Ask for glue. Oh it's over by paint at the other end of the fuckin store? Course it is. Cause I always glue my paint on. Get out to the garden center looking for 10ft t posts they were supposed to have. Nope, none of those either. So back into the store alll the way to other fuckin side back to lumber to grab a 2x12 and a 2x4. Nothing I love more than walking 30 football fields in their stadium sized clusterfuck to find everything.

So like 16 cedar planks, some pine, a few small pieces of pvc for water distribution, couple dowels, a sawzall blade, some screws and a small peach tree - out the door for like $170. So much for cheap diy garden planters. Should be plenty though for a 2x8ft raised tomato bed, 3x3ft strawberry tower planter and maybe a few extras. Along with a 7ft x 8ft trellis for the tomatoes.

BMM Stash 2.1 Boro mod and another 6 bottles of 100mg/ml Nic from River.

Really can’t see myself still utilizing Nic for as long of a supply I have now

Cracking open a bottle dated 2021 in 2045 ... I’ll probably be dead before then (knocks on wood)

My latest purchases were not purchases I wanted to make.

Spent just under $700 at the repair shop getting my truck fixed last week. The passenger side turbo needed the seals and coolant lines replaced.

Today I spent just over $600 on 4 new tires for the darn thing.

Next up, front drivers wheel bearing, hoping I can get that done for less than $300.

Biden bucks aren't stimulating much here....

An exam at the opthalmologist and some new eyeglasses! If you don't wear glasses or contacts, you might not understand the exclamation point.

I'll be happy as hell to be able to see properly again.

Ordered a style I've ordered before from eyebuydirect.com, in a different color. Cost about 1/3 what they'd cost at a retail store. I wear progressive lenses and they are EXPENSIVE.

ETA: New specs came a few days ago and they are AWESOME! Made me a little dizzy at first and I couldn't see all that well, but in just a couple of days my brain adjusted and now I'm right as rain. Yay! :vino:
