How to Use Vitamin D to Help Fight the Flu

Just a few yrs ago it was like a media blitz rubbishing the use of vitamins and minerals.
"Its just very expensive urine your creating" many would say.
Today just several yrs later its all been turned on its head. Studies and research everywhere is showing D, BVitamins, Zinc and many many others have amazing benefits.
How many people were sick during those times listened to the false media lies and suffered needlessly!
Today I still see one story saying coffee is bad, 2 months later they're crying out the health benefits of coffee, months later its being called poison, months later have 2 cups a day for a longer life. Madness

FEATURED INTERVIEW
Leah Wilson Interviews Alison McDowell | Vaccine Passports Aren’t About Vaccines
A world where we accept digital identities, is a world where our children and their minds are commoditized. Digital identities limit privileges and mobility in the world, including well beyond medical decisions. Selling bodily autonomy to big tech and big industry comes at a great cost to our children and to our ability to be a good relative.

Act Now America: Say NO To Vaccine Passports
Passports usher in a new era of segregation and medical apartheid and must be opposed.
The CDC, which issues official guidance that’s quickly adopted at all levels of government and by the private sector, is now making recommendations to loosen lockdown measures and grant certain privileges to those who have received the COVID-19 jab. Those who don’t get it, including individuals who are known to be at risk of harm from the vaccine, are being denied such privileges. This is medical segregation/apartheid at the behest of an agency that’s heavily influenced by pharmaceutical industry interests. Such a practice does not belong in a free society and is reflective of Nazi-era government efforts to segregate “inferior” or “diseased” members of society who were eventually confined or exterminated.

We Are Not For Sale
On November 30th, congressional bill H.R.550 (Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act of 2021) passed the U.S. House with a vote of 294-130. All House Democrats and 80 House Republicans voted yes for H.R. 550, including the 4 Republican co-sponsors.
This bill paves the way for state and local health departments, as well as public and private health care providers, to share personal health data with the federal government. The bill has hundreds of millions of taxpayer dollars allocated to the tracking system's success. It's easy to see this bill is meant to strengthen the enforceability of federal vaccine mandates and normalize vaccine-status discrimination. Let us be clear, this is the tracking system to which the government can tie a digital passport.
Tell your U.S. senators that we are not for sale. Americans know the importance of privacy and are joining together to say no to taking and sharing our personal, private data. Share this campaign with 10 of your friends, as we must push back on this bill and it's agenda.

Your Daily Motivation

Jimi,

As a physician, Dr. Nandi talks about food all day long. As his patients are always asking his opinion on the latest trending diets. And this is what he tells them..."please don’t diet".

Dr. Nandi actually feels that the word "diet" should not exist because it’s a prescription for failure. He would like folks to give up the mentality that you can drop a certain number of pounds in a short period of time. And what's his reason behind this? It's because this approach can easily backfire and lead to yo-yo dieting.

On the next Dr. Nandi Show, you'll meet two health heroes. At one point both Julia and Jenny weighed over 200 pounds and had tried numerous diets. But they found a lifestyle approach that worked for them and they each lost 70 pounds! They share with Dr. Nandi how they kicked sugar out of their lives for good.

Also on this show is Weight Loss Coach Bethany Perry. Bethany shares how the ancient practice of yoga encourages healthy eating habits. She tells Dr. Nandi that when we practice yoga, we’re actually connecting to ourselves. And the body begins to release old things, like old emotions.

And when we release all of those emotions we can feel freer. And the freer we are as a person, we won’t need to choose foods that don’t really serve us.

COGNITIVE HEALTH IS NOT AN ISOLATED PROBLEM.

Hey Jimi,

Many of my clients come to me expressing fear about losing the one thing that stands them apart from everyone else in the world and their industry….their minds.

If you are suffering from brain fog or forgetfulness you may be thinking to yourself…

“My brain is my superpower. Without it, I am not Jim”

How do you function when it feels like you have to think about thinking?

How do you continue to show up for your family, business and responsibilities when you feel guilt, fear or shame about your inability to hold as much attention, information or creativity as you normally would?

The truth is that your cognitive function is precious and likely one of the most important aspects of your health.

Sadly, most people chalk up forgetfulness and foggy thinking to the aging process.

But just because something is common doesn't make it normal.

What happens when we normalize something, we end up suffering and powering through it.

Never recognizing that it doesn't have to be that way.

Because here's the thing, you get to decide what you want and HOW you want it.

Yep!

You heard me correctly.

You get to create the life and success you want AND you get to decide how you are going to experience that journey.

Do you want to experience it struggling or flourishing?

Do you want to walk the path alone or with the support of others?

We have so many choices.

And recognizing that you do have choice is what keeps you in your power.

ALWAYS.

There are a few common physical root causes of decreased cognitive/mental health.

  • Brain on fire: inflammation in the brain that is caused by environmental toxins, pathogens, trigger foods and gut permeability.
  • Imbalanced hormones: Thyroid, estrogen and cortisol all affect how your brain function properly.
  • Nervous system: Repetitive trauma loops and nervous system dysregulation affect your brain function, especially if you disassociate.
  • Mold: Toxic mold exposure causes brain inflammation by affecting the hippocampus, the area of the brain that governs memory, learning, and the sleep-wake cycle.
There are some amazing functional labs that I run with my clients that allow us to identify what those physical root causes are.

And if you have been struggling with foggy thinking or poor memory, I highly recommend digging deeper.

There are some baselines that you need to be doing though and can start implementing immediately.

Stop drinking alcohol. Alcohol damages the brain, even in small to moderate amounts. If you must drink, leave it for celebrations only. The "wine o'clock" train is so 2018. Conscious sobriety is the new sexy.

Eat you macros. You need healthy fat. Your brain uses fat. Adequate protein will make sure your blood sugar is stable and your hormones are supported. And complex carbs are not evil.

Drink water. If you are dehydrated, it's more likely your lymph will not be as flowy as you want it to be. And guess what toxins and pathogens all can get stagnated, especially in the head/neck. We want to protect your precious cargo...your brain. So drink fluids and support lymph drainage.

Stay away from gluten. 60% of people with gluten intolerance do not have a GI response to gluten. Instead, they have a neurological response. So guess what? Your brain could be on fire from your daily avocado toast.

Sleep. You need to be getting 7-9 hours of sleep every night. This is when our body heals itself and the glymphatic system in the brain is at its peak draining toxins away from the brain.

If you have foggy thinking or poor memory, don't ignore it and push on.

Creating success in your life and letting your health suffer is one of the most upsetting patterns I see.

You matter more and you want to

You are on the right track, I also eliminate anything with gluten in it as gluten feeds cancer faster than sugar. When I was DXed (diagnosed) over six years ago I was already terminal stage 4 aggressive, they told me as far along as mine was that I could only expect to live maybe 2 more years. I asked if there was anything I could do to prolong my life in any way and they said the only thing that would do that was chemo, and at best it could only give me a year at best and that it was iffy if that it would help at all. I weighed 262 pounds wore a size 44 pants, five months after I went on my special diet I was down to size 32 pants and weighed 134 pounds. With all that weight went loads of toxins, because I learned to eat right. I juiced organic carrots and organic celery for 3 months with only salad to go with it once a day, yes it was hard, I was set in my eating habits so it was real hard, but, I am still alive. I owe all this to @TygerTyger as she posted and encouraged me to try to go natural. Thank You @TygerTyger!!!!

There’s a massive amount of summits in the health space, and I’m very grateful that all of this information is available for free. But at the same time, too much health information can lead to feeling “summit-stuffed”.

But this one is completely different.

This new summit - called The Event - “will bring awakened & empowered people from around the world together to one space in time as we ACTIVATE the unlimited potential & power within, INTEGRATE tools & resources shared from the leading edge, and LIBERATE ourselves and our communities from the entanglements of systems & stories that no longer serve us.”

If you’re fed up with the cov-induced negativity, polarization, madness and violence, this is for you.

I’ve personally reduced my consumption of pandemic-related news by 95% in the last few months, and instead focus on learning and getting inspired by the people who are not just addressing what’s wrong with this world, but working towards real solutions.

My friend and colleague Josh Del Sol is one of the many leaders behind this event, and anything he puts his hands on becomes magic.

The Event is focused on these 6 pillars:
1. Lawful Solution
2. Service & Community
3. Land & Food
4. Soul Purpose
5. Wealth & Prosperity
6. Health & Vitality

The speaker line-up is an inspiring breath of fresh air -- many of these folks are thought leaders that I really look up to.

I urge you to register for The Event and find inspiration in the midst of the uncertainty and negativity. This will run from Dec 17th to 21st, and should all put us in a fairly good mood for the Holiday break :)

===> The Event: A Global Mindset Revolution (free event, Dec 17-21)

Enjoy,

Nick

Hi, LaDawn here!

Culture seems to be diet-centric anymore. A new dietary claim is made almost every month or so, and countless people jump aboard the rumor train toward unknown health benefits or problems.

For decades, the idea of counting calories appeared to be rational — calories in, calories out, right? While calorie-restricted diets can be safe when monitored, ensuring participants are getting appropriate nutrients through food choices, people can often get carried away with the level of restriction.

1,200 calories are the bare minimum for calorie intake, which is for female resting metabolic requirements. Dipping below this number is rarely advised, and when it is, it is with the strict supervision of a medical or dietary professional.

More often than not, diets of 1,200 calories are referred to as unsustainable. The benefits of such restrictive dieting often result in less than optimal results for those trying to lose weight, especially as it can motivate a vicious cycle of yo-yo dieting.

When beginning a diet, especially a calorie-focused diet, it is crucial to understand the warning signs of under-eating. You should correct course and reevaluate your calorie intake to avoid any recurring issues.

Irritability and Lethargy are Only the Beginning

You have likely heard the term “hangry” before, meaning hungry and angry. There is a legitimate psychological component to eating and food. People often associate food with joy, relationships, and other pleasurable events and feelings. By taking those foods away, your brain can react negatively, causing a rise in cortisol and other hormones contributing to irritability or testiness.

Beyond feeling on edge all the time, you need to remember that calories are the body’s primary source of energy for tissues and functions. If you are eating the bare minimum, your body will need to prioritize what systems access energy and how much. The restrictions result in feeling tired, with many tasks seeming more challenging and less appealing, even those tasks you enjoy.

Unfortunately, irritability and lethargy are only the beginning of your troubles if you continue to eat too few calories. Eating less can also lead to sleep and digestive problems.

Restful Nights Might Become a Thing of the Past

Blood sugar levels depend on a balanced diet. Eating fewer calories than necessary can prevent the liver from producing enough glycogen during sleep to stabilize blood sugar levels.

When the liver doesn’t produce enough glycogen, the body must use gluconeogenesis to produce glucose. The process is possible only by releasing cortisol and adrenaline, and with enough of these hormones in your body, you might find it difficult to fall asleep and stay asleep during the night.

Digestive Problems Can Become a Permanent Diet Companion

A common symptom of consuming too few calories is persistent constipation. The problem often results from not consuming enough fiber. Fiber is essential to keep the digestive system moving along.

Dehydration is also a possibility of constipation. If the body does not have enough water in its system, it can not perform digestive tasks effectively, regardless of fiber levels. Unfortunately, many people struggle to differentiate between hunger and thirst, often confusing one for the other.

Consume Enough Calories Without Starving Yourself

Do not assume 1,200 calories is suitable for you. Talk to your doctor about calorie intake; they can offer a professional opinion based on gender, age, weight, and current health. Additionally, most fitness and nutrition experts agree that cutting your present daily calories by 200 to 300 calories per day combined with 30 minutes of exercise is enough to start a weight loss journey.

To your best health,
