I believe the Triton is backwards compatible with the atlantis as well. There's a couple on that list I've been interested in and it's nice to have a list to know what coil options are available.

The Triton certainly works, I have both tanks. Completely interchangeable.

Anyone have a Amigo Riptide ? Like to confirm that it too can be fit with an Atlantis.

Ehpro/eciggity morph tank
Yep it was there, I had it as Morph listed in front of EHPRO first but will list maker first then tank name going forward.

By the way does anyone here have first hand experience with this tank ? I been considering this one since it is so versatile. Right now am using a Vapor DNA Project Sub Ohm Saucecode and am very happy with it. One flaw I find with it is that if the top cap o ring gets worn the tank will leak out of the bottom...used the old dental floss under the o ring trick for now but will be looking for a more sturdy o ring for it soon.

I have the original size Atlantis. Are you saying that that Triton coils will work in the Atlantis because I would really like to use the 1.8ohm in the Atlantis

Yes, and here is why: Triton coils have threading on top even though the Triton tank doesn't use the threading.

*ANY* of the listed Tanks above that come with coils that don't have threading on top of the coil *should be able to use* a coil that does have threading.

It is important to make the list differentiate whether a tank uses the top threading as the connection point between base and upper hardware / tank assembly.

Basically the hull / size / shape / length of all the above coils is the same with very little difference and base threading the same.

Think 501 connections on devices and 801 connection...people wanted consistency so the market choices pushed the makers of the devices to chose one and 510 won out. Similarly VCR vs Beta Max recorder / players.

Two methods of connecting the base of a tank to the upper hardware are:
1) use the coil itself as the connection point by having the coil screw into the base and have the chimney / upper hardware screw on to the coil. There is no way to assemble the tank without a coil in place.

2) use threading on the base to connect directly to the upper hardware / tank / chimney threading to allow assembly even when a coil is not installed.

The last thing I would like to mention is that while I do appreciate that Aspire Atlantis was a ground breaking tank / coil that TODAY if I were going to be buying any new tank on the market it would be one that does NOT use the top threading of the coil for the connection. IMO it's a better design and allows more versatility.

Funny thing is that I just asked eciggity about their morph tank and atlantis adapter. They said that atlantis style coils (starre, herakles) will not work with the adapter. Im not too sure why since the adapter doesn't have threads. I would test this out myself if the Morph tank wasn't already burning through 5.7ml of goodness with the kanger occ head. Guess I will just have to wait for the specific adapters.

OK then, since I have no first hand experience with this and have relied on straight internet research I will update and leave this tank on the list but revise the top threading till someone can verify either way what will and will not work, Thanks for the input.

BTW, does anyone know what if any other coils will work in an OBS T-VCT tank?

I just got the OBS tank and can say that the Atlantis head is massive in comparison so that's out. I have not seen any other coil that resembles the OBS yet. Sorry.

So... To ask a possibly redundant question, this also means the rba head for the Atlantis works in all these tanks as well?

OK so...the anyvape segatank RBA "SHOULD" work in the tanks listed that DO use top threads of the coil to connect the upper hardware/chimney to the base.

That being said I have not personally tested these tanks, I have never owned an Aspire Atlantis tank or any of the tanks listed above except the eLeaf MELO / iJust2 and the Vapor DNA Saucecode.

On a side note I did pick up some Heracles coils and they do NOT fit in my iJust2 tank because the distance from the top of the coil to the bottom threads of the coil is greater by a couple millimeters than the standard Atlantis coil. Remember the Heracles coil has no top threads and Atlantis does. the coils are the same height but looking at them side by side the bottom threads of arent exactly in the same place.-hard to explain. I couldn't screw the top part of the ijust2 tank down all the way to the base with the Heracles coil in the base, if that makes sense.

Heracles coil does work in Saucecode.

this is a work in progress and I am hoping to keep the research going with help from all of you. Thanks.

They should fit. Regular freemax coils fit the pro too. So Atlantis so too.

Subscribed and a bump.
Just got a super tank for the form factor but also the coil cross compatibility is awesome.
I hope that trend continues and we can keep the same tank but get to use the coils to come that hopefully get better and better.

Thanx for putting this list up!

the form of the super tank and mini is awesome and I hope to own one some time soon. damn vape budget is not what it was when I started doing the research...ideally i would own all tanks and coils so I could get it all down right.

A call to all that are interested is to state which tank and which coils fit so we can be more informed...and a big thank you to all.

Yeah, I try to limit my attomizer purchases to at least every 3 months. After trying so many attys as most all of us have... in the end, they all produce vapor and we all have a number of them that work exceptionally well.
But it's always nice to have something shiny and new :) I think us vapers experience a bit of a placebo effect with new shinys and of course want that same new topper high we had lask week :p

I'll definitely post back if I come across something that's not on the list already and looking forward to seeing additions from others ;)

BUMP!

I don't know why Eciggity would say other Atlantis style coils wouldn't work in the Morph Tank. So far, I have personally confirmed that the Morph tank with the Atlantis adapter installed accepts the Atlantis coils, the Triton coils, the Tobeco Super Tank coils (My personal favorites at this point. One TST coil was good for more than 100ml of juice) as well as the VapeOnly vAir-T coils. Consequently, I suspect, but haven't personally confirmed, that it will also accept many of the other Atlantis style coils from the above list. The chimney on the Morph's Atlantis adapter doesn't have female threads for top threaded coils.

I have also personally confirmed that the Tobeco Super Tank coils work in the Triton Tank. I have one in my Triton tank right now and it's working better than the Triton coils did in my less than humble opinion.

If I am mistaken let me know bt the Eciggity site says it doesnt work with the Subtank RBA: here is a copy paste from the product description
Adaptor Compatiblity:

ATL Adaptor: Atlantis 1.0 Coil, Atlantis 2.0 Coil, Triton Coil, Super Tank Coil, Melo Coil

DEL Adaptor: Delta II Coil (Kanthal, Ni and Ti Delta II Coils)

SUB Adaptor: Subtank OCC Coil (Kanthal, Ni, and Vertical OCC). (Does not fit the Subtank Rebuildable Section)

Sorry if I missed this one, but don't the herakles coils fit the Triton tank as well? Thanks for the info on Tobeco coils, I'm gonna give those a shot.

Right. I can confirm that Morph's Subtank adapter doesn't work with the original Subtank RBA. It was very close to being able to fit, but no cigar. It probably doesn't work with the new updated version either (I'm guessing the diameter is the same). I'll know for sure in a few days when mine arrives. I can't imagine it would, but If by some weird chance the updated version fits, I'll report back.

Can confirm herakles coils work in the ijust 2 tank, I seem to get alot of spitback tho and my ohms have jumped around some too, don't think it sits quite right in the base.

That one looks interesting, ovancl and playboy tanks are supposed to be compatible as well according to reviews. Not totally sure on any of them tho.

My guess is yes but I have sent a product inquiry to fast tech to see if they can shed some light on the subject, or even carry the replacement coil for this tank.
The last few tanks I saw on Fasttech that looked like the coil might be Atlantis style, they couldn't tell me. They didn't even carry the replacement coil for the tank...bad Fasttech

Yes and Yes ! Thank you for helping keep this list updated. I have been seriously slacking...there are a few more and I have to gather my research to get myself to non-slacker status.

I believe I saw the komodo coils as well as the tank on ft, not gonna chance the coils tho unless i was 100% positive they'd work. I have an Atlantis v1 clone and and ijust 2 and its nice being able to just buy one coil and use it in both.

Hey all! Found one quick mistake in the list from the OP. While the BV Silo Beast does indeed take Atlantis coils, the original Silo tank does not. It takes Nautilus coils.

Cool. Thanks for checking! I have a few atlantises, but I just got the thunderstorm and haven't used anything since. I love the top fill and massive airflow. I'm looking for something similar but with a bit more capacity. The Komodo looks like it might fit that bill.

Found a video for the komodo, just a simple one from the manufacturer, but it definitely looks like one worth watching, can't tell on the coils tho.

It would make economic sense to engineer those coils to fit Atlantis compatible tanks. If they can't sell their tanks right away, they can still sell a boatload of coils if they're really good. Coils seem to be where the market is beginning to focus, since the advent of the Atlantis.
