Aspire Atlantis coil-fits

I'm seeing them at $15 for 5 and higher. That's about the same as triton's... which are not cheap but at least they aren't higher than those.

Bore looks a little restrictive, about the size of the super tank coils. Curious about cloud production.

cCells- $14.95 @ VNW.

I build my own as well, but I like to keep up with the new stuff so I can make fair side-by-side comparisons with my builds.

How is that cCell with cloud production?

Not bad, but nothing to brag about. We've only ran it at 25 watts though. I don't remember for sure, I'd have to go look and I'm too lazy, but I think it's only rated for up to 30. For a factory coil, the flavor is really good. I just snuck a pull (for the sake of science!) and after nearly two weeks of use the flavor doesn't seem to have dropped off too much.

This has my interest:
http://www.heavengifts.com/Vaporesso-Ceramic-cCELL-Replacement-Coil.html
Ceramic cCELL Replacement Coil
Ni200, 0.2ohm
Kanthal, 0.8ohm
Compatible with Vaporesso Tanks, Atlantis, Triton tank.

Now the waiting begins to see when they become available and for how much $.

I didn't see the Vaporesso on the list, so I double-checked your link, and you're right. I mean, I assume if the coils for the Vaporesso fit the Atlantis, then shouldn't Atlantis coils fit the Vaporesso?

I have to admit I'm curious about these coils. Has anyone had experience with them yet, good or bad?

OT: Is there any chance of getting the list alphabetized, to make it easier to locate tanks on the list? Great job on the list, btw!

The new Gclapton OVC coils fit these atomizers as well.

http://atomvapes.com/g_clapton

Prepare to spend a small fortune to try them though.

I heard they make little difference that may not make them worth spending that kind of cash on 4 coils.

I am very interested in seeing how the Vaporesso cCELL Ceramic Coils perform

They can now be found on eBay from a new Mexico vendor for $16.95
Search for "Vaporesso Coils cCELL Ceramic" on eBay to find them.

If anyone has tried these coils in an Atlantis please let me know how they are.

Thanks. :)
I've tried the gClaptons in my Atlantis 1. They weren't that impressive (not even close to the Aspire claptons) and EVERY SINGLE ONE, five in total, broke where the top and bottom connect (directly above the bottom threads) when I tried to unscrew the tank to refill it. I assume they would be fine in the Triton 2 because it's top-fill, so the coil doesn't have to be unscrewed until you're ready to take it out and replace it, but having tried both AtomVapes and Aspire's versions of the clapton, I would save my money and get the Aspires every day of the week and twice on Sunday. The AtomVapes may last longer, but I wouldn't know because they all broke before they were anywhere near gunked up or burnt out. I intend to buy a single at a local shop and give it a go in my Triton 2, but for the Atlantis I'd stay far, far away. They fit, alright. Just don't EVER try to refill your tank once it's empty because it will cost you six bucks every time!

I haven't tried the Vaporessos, but I'm going to the next time I stop at the shop in town that carries them.

Nice, Juice Loosener!

Now, for your next assignment, make a spreadsheet with tanks down the left side and coils across the top and a red "X" in the intersections where tanks and coils are incompatible. Thanks.

Just kidding, but it would be nice if someone knew how to do that.

OK when I clicked on it showed the G-Clapton coils for 21.99 http://atomvapes.com/g_clapton
I just picked up a couple of the AtomVapes claptons for my Triton 2 because the store I went to was out of the Aspires and I had a limited time buy-one-get-one coupon from them. I don't expect to have the same breakage problems with them that I did with my Atlantis 1 because of the top-fill option. I'm going to take out the Aspire clapton I've got in there right now and give one a try after work. I'll let you all know how it compares to the Aspire as well as my Crown. What I'm really looking forward to (somewhat guardedly) is the TFV4 quad claptons that I'm supposed to get this week sometime, but I'll review those in the proper thread when they arrive.

I don't know about the .2ohm, but I really like the .5ohm supertank coils. Good flavor, clouds and longevity.

I found that sometimes i like a lower ohm coil, and I figured these would fit the bill nicely, especially being cheaper than Triton or Atlantis heads that I've used before.

Hey All: I picked up the Atom Vapes gClapton Coils for My Kanger Subtank Mini's $13.50 at eCig.com. Also, got the Vaporesso Ceramic cCell Coils in both .9 Kanthal & .2 Ni200 for my Aspire Atlantis 1's, 2's, Mega's and Triton's $14.95 at VapeNW but with the up to 85% discounts on the total order paid a bit less.

Since I just got them in the mail today I'm Looking Forward to Playing with them sometime tomorrow. I'm real curious to see if there is that much of a difference! Especially with the Ceramic cCells! I've been Real Happy with the Atlantis Coils! Especially in the Mega Tanks and Triton's!

I Dig the Mega's on the iStick 100's & the WISMEC Reuleaux RX200's. Big Tanks Big Batteries Days of Vaping!

Also, the Kanger Subtank Mini's give a Real Good Vape! Want to see if those gClaptons do any better?

I Enjoy Building My Own Coils! But is Nice to See what these Retail Coil Builders Come Up with!

Take those overpriced Atom Vapes pieces of junk and throw them out the window! I gave them one more shot now that I have a Triton 2 and wouldn't face issues with the top threads pulling the coil apart. They still suck. They don't provide even 1/3rd of the flavor of the Aspire Claptons, but if you want to wait five minutes between puffs for them to wick, then I guess they're not that bad o_O. If, however, you're like me and you actually like to hit your vaporizer more often than that, there are much better options out there...Like the Vaporesso cCell ceramic coils!!!

I picked up a box of these at one of my local stores and I think I'm in love! :D I was afraid that the wicking with the ceramic would be like watching a pot of water come to a boil. Not so! The girl said that they were good to go every 30 seconds or so, but I've found even a short 10-15 second break between hits is enough to allow them to wick up plenty of juice and avoid a dry hit. I'm a notorious chain-vaper and I haven't had a single dry hit from the ceramics in four days. Not only that, but the dude at the shop said he put his in before Christmas and it was still going strong. I haven't had a coil last more than 3 or 4 days since I went to sub-ohm vaping, so the prospect of having a coil last a week, much less a month or more, is music to my ears (and wallet)! The flavor on these things is also VERY impressive. It's in the same neighborhood with both my Crown running 0.25-ohm dual coils and my Triton 2 running Aspire's 0.5-ohm Clapton coils. It's a little less lip-smacking juicy than those two, but also a bit more clean, if that makes any sense. That's the best way I can think to describe it. I hope you enjoy the ceramics, I certainly am. The gClaptons aren't the worst coils I've ever used, but they're far from the best. Keep them for a Sunday when you accidentally burn your last good one and there aren't any stores open in town to get new coils. Other than that scenario, I can't think of a time you'll be thankful you bought them. Sorry for the bad news. Hey, at least they look really pretty, right?

I don't want to go too far off topic, but, as far as factory pre-builts for the Subtanks, give these a try. They seem to work good for my wife.

I do not mind if you use a link to this page. I do not know for sure what if any other rules apply. @SMOKIE probably knows.
Do me a favor and spell "georgemeadal" like it is inside the quotation marks please. Thanks.
While I did start the thread, there are a lot of others who have added to the information here and I can not take full credit (or be liable) for goofy or wrong info. At this point it is a group effort.
Speaking of group effort maybe encourage anyone who reads your FAQ to stop by VU and join. I and others are learning more every day and sharing the info in a fun way. VAPE ON!

Other coils that fit the Nautilus are (Aspire Triton MINI), (Beyond Vape Silo coil), (Vape Only vAir-T NI200 for use with Temperature Control Mod ONLY) and then there are the (Nautilus CLONE coils that places like Fasttech sells).
There are other tanks that use the Nautilus coil including the Triton MINI, Beyond Vape Silo and KABUKI tank. There are probably others but these are the first to come to my mind.
Good luck and VAPE ON

ok all here is the 20 $ question so to speak with the versatility of coil choices and tank. Which Coil do you like best in which tank. personally i am looking for a good balance (flavor vs plume) and long term coil life. i used a crown and others but the batch QC on them sucks.

That's considerably more than a 20 dollar question. Since there are around a thousand possible different combinations, if you were to try each one for three weeks to insure sufficient longevity, it would take more than 50 years to come to an informed conclusion. They might come out with some new stuff in the mean time. That said, I've had pretty good results with the Tobeco Super Tank coils in everything I've tried them in. I'm slowly working my way through other combinations. It's gonna take a while...

Anyone have feedback on the Ovancl Espole coils? They're selling for $5.10/pack on Fasttech right now. That's a fantastic price if they're decent.

Also, we could add the Coiltech Atank to the list. Those are selling for $8.27/pack. Curious about these coils as well.

I know the FreeMax Scylla will use Atlantis and Triton style coils and I believe the same to be true for the Vapeston Ceramikas. The Scylla comes with a RBA section that is set up to do single or dual coils.

I've really enjoyed the Vaporesso cCell ceramic 0.9 ohm coils in my Triton 2. I'm ready to try their new, lower resistance versions they're coming out with for the new "Gemeni" (I think) tank. They give a good, clean flavor and pretty good clouds, plus they have a longer life than any other coil I've ever used. The octuple clapton TF-T8 for the TFV4 produces massive clouds without sacrificing on flavor like many of the other coils do for that tank (IMO). The TF-T4 isn't bad, either. The Snake coils for the Arctic V8 (and mini, in my case) produce the best flavor for that tank (with the caveat that I haven't tried the single or dual SS coils yet, but I've had the rest).

That said, I'm a flavor chaser and my top two choices are easy to state. The Cleito may spitback a little bit and the coils don't last too long, but the flavor is second only to the Crown and its 0.25 ohm coils. I haven't tried the Rafale yet, but from everything I've read it's slightly better than the Crown on clouds and slightly worse on flavor, so I haven't dropped the dough to pick on up yet. I'll probably get one eventually, but I'm in no hurry since my Crown is still going strong.

I'll second that except that I think the cCell, as far as flavor goes, beats anything I've ever tried. I've compared it, in my Morph Tank, side by side, with several others tanks, coils and builds. Still, I too prefer the Crown to all others, on balance for the combination of air flow, clouds, flavor and ease of use.

I'll be interested to see how the Horizon Cerakoat does. It's basically a Clieto with a triple Clapton coil and and SS coil that they call a "Mask" build. I'm not sure what that means, but it looks like this:

I love the Cleito, despite its rinky-dink feel as compared to the solid, heavy feel of the Crown. If Horizon has managed to copy it well and upgrade the coils, then I'm on board!

I don't see the Aspire Triton v2 on the list, even though I know it's cross-compatible with Aspire Atlantis coils, as is the Triton v1, which is on the list.

I also really enjoy the Vaporesso cCell ceramic coils, and recently read there's a way to torch-clean them, so that you'll never have to replace them, but so far I've not found a way to do that. That'd be a great way to save money!!! (so far the best prices I've found for cCells is on Sweet Vapes, where they offer Kanthal, 0.9 ohm, Nickel, 0.2ohm, and SS316 at 0.8ohm, with 0.5ohm coming soon. They're selling for $12.95, which is about what Fasttech is selling for, just without the wait).

One question I had about the Master List, it has Tobeco Super Tank, is that the same thing as the Tobeco Super Tank KS with the rebuildable deck? If so, that takes Vaporesso cCell ceramic coils as well as Atlantis and Triton coils. As far as I can tell, the Tobeco Super Tank mini takes the same coils as the Super Tank KS, in case anybody is making that worksheet. ;)

Vape on!

Keep up the good work everyone and please feel free to PM me if you see some info I missed or that is wrong or needs updating.
