Let us know where you got the CLR coils for under $10. I paid $12.45I picked up a pack of 5 CLR's for under $10. I'll have to research where I got them and I'll PM it to you.

Thanks for sharing the infoI don't have to PM. Sometimes I forget we speak freely on hereI got them from World Of Vape for 9.75 plus shipping. Best price I could find at the time. The shipping was super fast, just 2 or 3 days.

Yeah, mine came with 2 CL's as well. But, I wanted to make sure I could use the CLR so I could just rebuild them. They work the same, you just don't use that seemingly "important" o ring on the top of the CL. I think it's built in to the CLR. I like the way the RBA vapes, but I always have some type of leaking. Sometimes a lot and sometimes a very little, but just not comfortable putting it in my pocket. No leaking with the CLR.
Didn't I read something about having to flip the rubber top around? So I take off the rubber top and the old ones will work on the CL base? they don't seem to be threaded for the new base
This is all new to me, you guys have had yours longer than I have, I am just learning....LOL
How do you get them to fit Amanda?
No, the old "CS" base will not work with the CL or CLR coils. If you look at the pic Whiskey posted above you can see that ring, just above the positive pin (not removable) and it won't fit. But with the CLR coils the "insulator" that is pointed out on the top of the CL coils is built in to the coil. So, with the CLR coils you just screw them in the CL base as is.I only have the old ones, and I use them with the (slightly leaky, depending) RBA bases.

@Whiskey as far as 1.0 or .5, guess it's preference. I have only used the 1.0 and am happy with it. My thought would be you would really reduce battery life with the .5 since you would be running them at a higher v/w. I am running the 1.0 at 16.5 or so and getting about the same battery life as I did with the original Egrip.

Yes! The RBA base works in all three models. The original, the original OLED and the new OLED.The RBA base, ok, I have the older original bases and the new CL bases, so there is a separate RBA base?
OK, does this make me an "eGrip nerd" or fanboy or what![]()

You are correct. That is the CS (L) the CL (R). And, there is also an RBA base. Now, just to make it interesting, you can also use the CLR coils which are basically the same as the CL except you can rebuild them if you want. Here is a picture I took of the 2 coils, confirm for me that the one on the left is a old style coil and the one on the right is the new CL coil

Joyetech USA are selling them here!
I got mine for about $6 each with free shipping from the other place, took about 10 days and they threw in a free bottle of juice in mine, so I went with themJoyetech USA are selling them here!

I have to wait until my coils get here, just ordered them yesterday (CLR's)I also got 3 of them from the same site you used, I didn't get free shipping but I did get a free bottle of juice. Shipping was crazy since it was coming from Greece. Nice Joyetech is selling them in the US now. You are using the CL and not the CLR right? How do you like the CL? I'm using the CLR and loving them. I don't build, but I do change the cotton and I love the taste and love there are no leaks. Thanks @Whiskey
Good to know the CL are good tooI have to wait until my coils get here, just ordered them yesterday (CLR's)
And I like the CL's just fine too![]()
Ordered a couple of CL bases for my originals from Joyetech US (thanks @Dimplegirl) They sent me shipping info within an hour.I have to wait until my coils get here, just ordered them yesterday (CLR's)

I saw one thread or post where one leaked at a meeting, I assume that was what the problem was with that? I haven't had any issues yet with mine.
I have one set up with the CL using the white silicone on top of the coil. No leaking. I didn't use the silicone ring with the CLR (couldn't make it fit) and no leaking there either. I think I like the flavor and vapor just a "bit" more with the CLR.
I had that happen a lot with the original using the Aspire heads. It has to have something to do with the airflow. If one of them totally gives out I may try to take it apart and see what's going on.That's interesting! I'll have to try the CLR without the cap. I haven't tried the CL coil yet. I would think the CLR would be better. Thanks for the info. I just get an occasional drip, it looks like it is coming from around the base on both.
