Hi all.

Thanks for all the concern everyone.
Waited all day to hear something. Right before five, the dr's office called and said that after looking at the new x-rays that what they were seeing is all the scar tissue from when K had ARDS a few years ago. Guess the first X-ray just didn't give the radiologist a clear enough view and they didn't know her history.
So, Always was right in saying not to panic.
Bitter sweet!

Yep, we probably don't appreciate our health care system enough. But, we pay for that quick service.good news
your medical system is so much more efficient than here, provided you have insurance. Ours is mostly socialised, but sssllloooowwww
Haven't got my new atties yet. Ordered from Tasmania (the pubic hair shaped island down the bottom) and man is it slow. They also don't appear to scan parcels down there.
Morning steph

Evening, Dan!
Your dinner looks awesome. I have never made fish balls or tried kim chi.....Is that spicy? I made a great Asian dinner last night, too. First time I ever made Sticky Rice and it was really good. Not sure I'll want to eat regular rice as much now that I bought this kind.
sticky rice rocks
kim chi is korean chilli pickled wombok [or sometimes cucumber or radish] it is very hot, great stuff. Easy to make, but the pickling process takes a while, this was a packet one

Real Asian food. Fish balls. Kim chi. Chilli oil loaded with msg.
I didn't soak the rice so it wasn't very fluffy

66% fish on ingredients. Who knows what else.
What kind of fish has balls that big?
And you're fluffy.

Think I'm making fried rice for dinner tonight.
do you have left over rice? i can be a rice nazi, and FR needs refrigerated rice
Is the brown cos your pancreas is a dud? Or flavour/texture?Yep. Made the rice yesterday. 50/50 brown and white.
Just for the record, leftover beef rice-a-roni makes awesome fried rice.
Dudded pancrease was originally why I started brown rice, but now I just like it.Is the brown cos your pancreas is a dud? Or flavour/texture?

Pretty good effort. Not 2pak2runningmarathons good. But pretty good

How do you live with that?Dudded pancrease was originally why I started brown rice, but now I just like it.
The brown rice ends up more "firm" and adds an additional texture to the finished product.
Mama bears prefers white rice but allows me to go 50/50 brown and white. She also isn't a big fan of peas and carrots in it so they are used sparingly, but onion, mushrooms and meat of choice get loaded up in it. She's also not a big fan of sesame oil but that's non-negotiable in fried rice.
Who's timothy leary?Good job.
And me thinks 1Pak is running AWAY from something and the fitness thing is a cover.
After seeing his blurry tutu pic I'm more convinced of this.
Timothy Leary isn't really dead. He's hiding in 1Paks garage.

My FR is very simple. 2 or 3 full bulbs worth of garlic cloves. Lots of pepper and salt. Eggs and bacon mandatory. Left over white rice. The rest varies.
No sauce at all. An old Filipino colleague taught me.

Best thoughts out for your niece.Great news!
My wife lost two family members to cancer in the last month and our niece is currently in week 4 of her 18 week chemo' treatments. . . .
Good idea. I would also suggest checking the Mac of all Trades website. I got two from them for the grands for Christmas. One had problems and they fixed it right away. That is if you are looking for a refurbished, @Claudia P.If you're still thinking about a Mac', check out the Apple Certified Refurbished page. You may find what you're looking for at a discount.

love the kisses! Not sure if it is special, but it is more limited now that I have to work. I am tired! I slipped on ice, messed up both knees, shoulders and right hand. Nothing major...just more added pain and gimping around. It has been a bit exhausting though. Sleep has been disrupted due to pain when I try to turn over (my knee looks like a 9 year old kid's knees when he is learning to skateboard!).glow! :kissing2:
our glow time is so special now

Now that I am home I can take something for pain and muscle relaxation. Betcha I am in good shape by tomorrow!!!
I miss y'all. One very good thing: By the time I read about K's issues, the "all clear" was also sounded so I didn't have to worry long.
I am so sorry to hear that she is having to go through this.Thanks. She's handling it well for a 30 yr. old that also underwent a hysterectomy and colostomy . . .
