Thanks for all the concern everyone.

Waited all day to hear something. Right before five, the dr's office called and said that after looking at the new x-rays that what they were seeing is all the scar tissue from when K had ARDS a few years ago. Guess the first X-ray just didn't give the radiologist a clear enough view and they didn't know her history.

So, Always was right in saying not to panic.

Bitter sweet!

We can now resume normal programming!!

91??!!!!!
You located just south or west of hell?
Lol
Not really..just southern California, 10 mi inland from the beach, and about15 mi north of the Mexican border..we get these warm Santa Anna winds blowing in off the desert this time of year sometimes...will drop back down to around 80° next week as a strong wind starts blowing in off the Pacific again...something to do with high and low pressure cells moving across our county....

Morning, 22 and Dan!

I'm still sitting here in my jammies which means we finally got a 2-hour delay.........lol Too cold for the munchkins to stand outside and wait for buses. Another bout of a cold hitting me, so I'm glad I can have a slow wake up today.

My atty wrench was already sent out.........and my Rafale came yesterday. Boy is the packaging cool. I'll take some pics before I totally open it. And.....I love how the coils are packaged........they are in a small, skinny tube all stacked on top of one another. Will be easy to carry. I'd forgotten how fun it was to get vape mail........lol

ETA: This is better than my pics!

Haven't got my new atties yet. Ordered from Tasmania (the pubic hair shaped island down the bottom) and man is it slow. They also don't appear to scan parcels down there.

Morning steph

Evening, Dan!

Your dinner looks awesome. I have never made fish balls or tried kim chi.....Is that spicy? I made a great Asian dinner last night, too. First time I ever made Sticky Rice and it was really good. Not sure I'll want to eat regular rice as much now that I bought this kind.

sticky rice rocks

kim chi is korean chilli pickled wombok [or sometimes cucumber or radish] it is very hot, great stuff. Easy to make, but the pickling process takes a while, this was a packet one

Morning Rooboy.
It's bearable, barely.......but next week we should be pushing 50.
50 is nearly nekkid mowing weather.
Love fish but fish balls never really appealed to me. Maybe I should try one.
The rest of your meal looks awesome however. Love sticky rice. Think I'm making fried rice for dinner tonight.

Is the brown cos your pancreas is a dud? Or flavour/texture?

Dudded pancrease was originally why I started brown rice, but now I just like it.
The brown rice ends up more "firm" and adds an additional texture to the finished product.
Mama bears prefers white rice but allows me to go 50/50 brown and white. She also isn't a big fan of peas and carrots in it so they are used sparingly, but onion, mushrooms and meat of choice get loaded up in it. She's also not a big fan of sesame oil but that's non-negotiable in fried rice.

How do you live with that?

My FR is very simple. 2 or 3 full bulbs worth of garlic cloves. Lots of pepper and salt. Eggs and bacon mandatory. Left over white rice. The rest varies.

No sauce at all. An old Filipino colleague taught me.

Well I did it, iMac 27" is ordered and should be here by the 23rd. Now I am off to take a xanax and hunt for online information about how to use it. I spent two days with a tech trying to get this 8 year old computer to hang on for a while longer and the consensus is I would need to put about $600 into it to do that. I just can't see doing that, when it is going to have to be replaced anyway. I just hope I can limp it along long enough to get everything moved over to the new one and learn how to use it. I know absolutely nothing about using a Mac but I guess I'm about to learn.
Peng you may want to hide cause I know I'm going to have a LOT of questions.

Oh and for the next 18 months I have NO vape budget, I just spent it.

glow! :kissing2:

our glow time is so special now
love the kisses! Not sure if it is special, but it is more limited now that I have to work. I am tired! I slipped on ice, messed up both knees, shoulders and right hand. Nothing major...just more added pain and gimping around. It has been a bit exhausting though. Sleep has been disrupted due to pain when I try to turn over (my knee looks like a 9 year old kid's knees when he is learning to skateboard!).

Now that I am home I can take something for pain and muscle relaxation. Betcha I am in good shape by tomorrow!!!

I miss y'all. One very good thing: By the time I read about K's issues, the "all clear" was also sounded so I didn't have to worry long.

Our poor kitty has had bleeding from his nose twice in the last two days. :( and a $300+ vet visit today will likely only tell us what's wrong. Hoping it's just something the antibiotics can fix. My older boy is quite attached and now old enough to be really sad if it's terminal. He's already struggled getting used to the new baby this week.
