This whole jewelry venture of K's has been consuming all my time. Get home from work and take pics, then enter all the info on page, then go back and fix what I screw up while entering stuff on the page, then, well, then I'm sure there's something else she wants me to do.
I just hope we break even when she gets bored and wanders off to do something else.

Not such a good morning here. I'm sleeping in 2 hour increments, with lots of wake time in between. I'm buggered again.
The pretty fluffy snow that fell yesterday afternoon turned into ice and slush overnight. I was hoping for at lest one good snowfall this winter, but alas.
At least I got to swing with Elvis a little. What a stud.

I'm just glad she's doing something. She's been in a rut for sometime now. So, I don't mind the time and expense.

well I don't do the business side of crafts but I dive into a hobby headfirst, then after a year or so find a different one to dive into, leaving lots of extra supplies behind its unlikely I'll ever use again.
Sounds yummy. Am going to be on the hunt for a good plum concentrate as I really want to try and clone an old favorite juice, thanks for reminding me haha

Just stopping in for a minute, still working at getting everything setup here. I have 9 years of art classes, videos resources, and artwork to transfer, not to speak about photos and other documents. Maybe I'll be lucky and live log enough to get it all finished.
I do love this machine though and am not having any trouble getting used to it at all.

In our case they are confused here. I had daffodils for Christmas day, and they went back to sleep, popped up again (never dull bloom, just popped out green stems etc), went back to sleep in the last freeze and look who's back out again.
I'm worried they won't come with actual spring now. I have thousands of daffodils in different varieties, hyacinths, tulips, etc and my spring garden is like my little "thank God it's over." I'll be sad if it doesn't come up this year
Morning y'all. Definitely slow and quiet here since we moved. I suspect winter funk isn't helping everyone, but then summer comes and no one is around then either. Who knows.

Your garden sounds gorgeous. I had a really nice pink bearded iris (advertised as yellow when I bought it) but the chooks killed it. Still have purple, and jonquils etc

I have it planned so most of spring and summer has plenty of color, there's always room for more of course so that's my plan this year. Even my early summer lilies are popping up, but they're hardy buggers so will probably be fine. Late summer stuff will be alright as well. It's just the spring stuff probably won't do well

It's very hard. But it's very short lived and will be easier before you know it. Was just thinking the other day, at the time my two were tiny (11 months apart) I thought the misery would never end. It was so stressful and exhausting and it was so lonely. But before you know it they start sleeping longer, the older one wants to help by bringing bottles/diapers/pacifiers, they start being a little less needy. Now onto Mac stuff, I can't get the Mac and PC to cooperate at all and it is becoming more obvious that I am going to need some expert help solving this. I can't get into my files on the PC from the Mac and I can't get into the Mac from the PC and while this probably wouldn't be a serious problem normally the fact that even after my desktop PC gets shut down for good, there are two other PC's on the network and one other person who relies on printer sharing.
Installing Windows 10 on my desktop PC probably would make it easier BUT it is dying and doing that would probably kill it outright. I'm feeling overwhelmed again.

Maybe you could transfer the files to cloud storage and them pull them back down with the new Mac?
That's what I'm doing, it is soooooo slooooowwwww, I'm managing about two class folders a day. At this rate it may take months as I have about 9 years of art classes to transfer and that doesn't include photos and normal documents.
Hmm. I did it once using a fast, external hard drive. Just need to format it in the right language so both can read it. I forget which but it's one of just a few choices.
I know it's a pain, but the transfer is only once, after that you will be loving the way Mac works for art!
I already love it, I have installed some of my art apps and have played a little, just played with a few brushes, scribbling, but that was enough to see the huge difference in performance, the display quality is amazing, which I knew, it's like 3D, you feel as if you could reach into the picture.
I just want to hurry up and get all the busy work done so I can really enjoy it, but truth is all of this prep work gets you used to the new OS faster.

I think most things can read standard windows partition and file system tables. But windows can only read it's own.
