Yep... good memories (not so much the song... back in the late 70s, we had the CB radios (I still have one LOL) My friend's handle (nickname) was ironman... I was tralblazer at the time. Actually, the song too.
My CB handle was Nevada Gopher. Was from Nevada at the time and a gopher in the USAF.

My grandpas and grandmas handle were Brass Monkey and Moon Monkey. They actually had like business cards with monkeys hanging around, lol.
This is cool. My mom actually talked with her future husband on the cb (not knowing they would meet and marry), so did my grandpa. Grandpa never met her future husband. But grandma did.
This would be the good thing for yesterday, remembering this.

Remembering the above lead me back to this memory. It is pretty cool, too.
I don't recall all the details as to why mom had to take a cab home, but the one who took her home was her future husbands daughter.
Plus, one day mom went bowling, sitting in a chair waiting to bowl, she looked across the room and step dad (not at the time) was also looking across the room, both of their eyes met for a few moments. Both not knowing they would be married to each other for over 20yrs :inlove:
This is the good thing for this day.

All of these things weren't known until after a year or two of marriage.
