The Wolf Lullaby - The Harp Twins

Lyrics:
The birch trees whisper to her
The reeds whistle to her
The stones listen to her
The keeper of the night

Her coat is, her coat is made of stars
Her eyes are, her eyes are moonlight
She walks alone
She waits for twilight
She is the guardian
She is the guardian of the night

The moths dance for her
The owls sing for her
The aurora paints for her
The keeper of the night

Her coat is, her coat is made of stars
Her eyes are, her eyes are moonlight
She walks alone
She waits for twilight
She is the guardian
She is the guardian of the night

The sky calls to her
The invader answers to her
The day concedes to her
The keeper of the night

Her coat is, her coat is made of stars
Her eyes are, her eyes are moonlight
She walks alone
She waits for twilight
She is the guardian
She is the guardian of the night

Her eyes are moonlight, are moonlight

The Woodstock festival in 1969 was scheduled for 3 days, Fri, Sat & Sun. Each night the bands played into the wee hours of the next morning. So on the calendar it ended up being a 4 day show even though it only lasted for 65 hours and 10 minutes. On that Monday morning, the acts that performed were :
Johnny Winter
Blood, Sweat & Tears
Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young
The Paul Butterfield Blues Band
Sha Na Na
Jimi Hendrix / Gypsy, Sun & Rainbows.
When Hendrix took the stage, only about 20,000 people were left in the audience.
So we guess it's fair to say that about 480,000 people left early and missed one of the greatest moments in the history of Rock and Roll.
Did any of you stay till the very end 55 years ago today?

I just read an interesting music related study. When asked to sing an earworm, nearly 50% of study participants (not musicians by the way) sang it in the correct key, and 2/3rds sang it within 1 semi-tone of the original key. Our brains appear to store the actual pitch information for familiar songs rather than abstracting it the way we do with most memories.
