The thing is, the guy says he took care of Peanut when his mama was run over by a car, gave him goat milk formula, then released him outdoors when he was able to feed himself, but when he opened the door Peanut came running back inside.

Squirrels do like being pets. My brother used to give one of them unshelled pecans outside, and the squirrel was waiting at the door every day for his nut.
When I was young a bunch of us kids were in the woods with our pellet guns and one kid shot a squirrel, it ended up being a flying squirrel. The next day I was in the woods and heard sharp whining comin from the den hole of squirrels. So I climbed up and checked it out. there was 2 baby squirrels in the hole so I swooped them up and took them home. I kept them in a bird cage and back then maybe the laws were different OR their were not as many D***head people cause I took them to school to show everyone and the teachers/principal were all pleased. Soon as they were old enough I let them go. They were a riot to play with.

Anybody ever watch Letterkenny? I'd never heard of it but an old friend I recently reconnected with mentioned it to me this afternoon. I haven't accomplished a damn thing around the house since. I keep thinking the humor is so juvenile I shouldn't enjoy it but I'm laughing my ass off anyway. Excellent show, highly recommend it. Unfortunately it's a Hulu/Disney+ only as far as I can tell unless you want to pay for individual episodes.

My friend's description of the show doesn't do it justice but I can't come up with a better single sentence summary so here is how she described it. "Omfg its a lovely mix of redneck, tweaker, hockey and Canadian humor"

Guess I have a good thing for the day. I'm in a cheerful mood for the first time in months, at least partly because I've been enjoying some pleasant conversation with an old high school friend that I haven't talked to since graduation. I won't say how long ago that was.
