Hopefully, you will heal up quickly.
I know it hurts, so sorry, Kad

Years ago (Late 80's) my hubby almost cut off 3 fingers with a table saw. He was making pond boats for the kids and got distracted. Awful had to have emergency surgery, his pipefitting/welding apprenticeship at Eastman Kodak was delayed for 6 months until he healed. Sorry that happened to your hubby Wolfie,
Again sorry that has happened to you as well @SirKadly

Ok gonna go stir and sample the soup, I love onion soup and made with garden onions makes super good. Back in a bit

Wish you would put your recipe in the cooking thread. I like the natural fond the onions create when you saute them. On America's Test Kitchen I remember them using the same pan for multiple batches of onions, but they didn't clean the pan in between each pan full of onions, so it got richer and richer. I don't remember what else went in.

You'll cringe, Jimi, but I love Campbell's French onion soup, undiluted. I heat up two cans at once. Without diluting with water, two cans make a supper for one. Then melt gruyere cheese on a bread crust and float it in, OMG yum.

Ok I'll haveta ask Jean what all she put in it, she started it and then had to go do something and left me in charge, Like the wolf watchin the sheep  I'll ask her when she gets back. I know she used 12 of our large sweet onions. I like it too with bread and plant based moz. cheese
