When my brothers and I were younger, and our parents were still in this world to mediate the gatherings and keep things nice, holidays together were enjoyable. Since they've been gone, we need what you're picturing, every time. It's why I enjoyed my Thanksgiving totally alone this year, so so much.

They are fake accounts, I have been PMed by fake Ozzy Osbourne, Fake Zakk Wylde, fake Johnnie Guilbert and a few others like some local creepy guys, they will be asking for money eventually, not a love connection,lol . I hate FB but some of my forum friends and some family post there so I am stuck.
I usually report to FB and block them.
The funny thing is the last guy was replying to a post I made in 2015,lol and I do not think a high ranking military man would be looking at Vape Shop posts looking for love from a total stranger,lol! Hard to believe how many people fall for these fake accounts.

I was wondering how you could tell it was a fake account. I've never done any of those social media. VU is my only social media. A good friend of mine says, like you, that she only does FB to keep up with family (she comes from a huge family).

My 1st experience was with the fake Ozzy account, they try to get you to go to google chats, outside of FB messaging. I looked it up online and so many fake celebrity accounts do this to find victims because so many people fall for this scam. Why would any of these stars want to talk to a random fan like me? They don't. Real accounts have a blue check mark when they are celebrities. The fakes don't.
I don't know why I get these "stars" PMing me, weird. I never reply to their posts, but sometimes I like their posts, that is where the fakes gather their hit list I guess. Started right around Covid with these random PM's. I guess it is easy to set up a fake account on FB.

This is the final edition of Jimi's holiday party invitation. He wanted to post again closer to the date so nobody forgets.

Mark your calendar for Sunday December 22. Follow the brightest stars in the sky to the most beautiful tree in the forest. Behind that tree you'll find the entrance to Jimi's cozy bear den. Santa will already be onsite, and some of Jimi's guests who prefer the outdoors will be waiting to wave you in, so nobody gets lost.
