How are you doin today Bliss?
I hope the day is treating you well my friend.
I'm fine, thank you Jimi.

I'm sorry you're feeling puny. The armchair doctor in me is ticking off the positive: no fever.

So I suspect your outdoor work puts you in contact with allergens and air pollution. Dunno really, but I hope you feel better soon.

Doctor out.

Awe thank you my friend,
I think you are right but I have been around a lot of people lately
Okay, you're gonna get me started.

Humans are healthy. We evolved to be disease resistant over hundreds of thousands if not millions of years, by exchanging germs and developing immunity by loving each other, with our human ways of hugging, kissing, shaking hands, sitting down together, sharing food, dancing close, holding hands, making out. Now we are being convinced we are filthy disease carriers. I wish I had a better way to have these conversations without alienating people, or attacking the decisions they make for themselves.

It's summer, and diseases wane in the hot summer of a region.

I hope you can get the extra rest you crave (you said you're tired), take some of the mint tea we discussed, and feel 100 percent yourself very soon.

Maybe I'd better log out before I make somebody mad.

You're not gonna make me mad, I like to hear others thoughts. I agree with human immunity but this time, since Jean, my wifey, has it too now and she has been hurt from the wreck still and don't go out much kinda makes me think maybe something picked up. At first I thought allergy but too much coughing up uck.

Well yes, when you've been isolated from others for a while, without exposure to that exchange of germs, you can be more sensitive when you resume that exposure, which is why the national quarantine of all healthy people for however long we were made to do it in 2020, was the worst possible thing for our health.

No fever is still a positive. Allergens and pollution, as well, can cause you to produce that "uck". Whether you're fighting off a pathogen or fighting off irritation from what's in the air, your lungs and sinuses will surround the invader with uck so you can sneeze and cough it out. It's no fun either way, and I hope it will clear up for both of you, and you'll come out of it strong and refreshed. I still think, as long as there is no fever, a hot drink with mint or anise or cinnamon can be helpful (unless you're allergic to one of those), along with extra sleep.
