Hi Music Lovers   :blowkiss:
Usually I'm not here on Friday nights, but wanted everyone to know.....

Thursday afternoon I was on the VU trying to find a pic of Duke that I liked and thought I had posted it , but couldn't find it. So, never posted anything. I finally found it :) later in the night, but by then didn't feel like getting back on.

It was a VERY difficult decision for us to make, but we think (pray) it was the right decision, the best for Duke and us. Thursday around 2:45pm Duke was put to Rest here at our home.

He was so miserable, we could see it in his eyes. Though, he did watch the kitties and mamma Cali play, he did enjoy watching them. But, he was just laying there day after day, his quality of life, well, there wasn't one anymore. He counted on us when he wanted/needed to do anything :(

What we think is....Yahushua put Cali in our lives and had babies because He knew Duke needed some kind of entertainment while laying there, and for us hoomuns (humans) need them for smiles and laughs....to get us through the stress of taking care of Duke and during this difficult time of loss.

He is in no more pain....:) May he be running, playing, barking, lol, his kind of barking, and chewing on all doggie treats he can get his mouth on and enjoying being whole again.

Our Beloved Half Wolf Half Siberian Husky....Duke :inlove:
This is the pic I was looking for....he Loved going for rides :)

Like everyone has said you have to remember all the good time you spent with him, I am sure Duke would want it that way.
His spirit will always be there watching over you, looking out for you.

My Guy, while on his work route, found these almost brand new mats out by the curb.
Duke needed them to walk on in the kitchen to get to the back door so he could go outside and get to their water bowl. Even with trimming his fur on the bottom of his paws he would still slip and fall. Most times, it was difficult for me to lift him up cause he would slid right back down. Came up with an idea :) I started to use a car mat and place his front paws on it. Made it easier getting him up.
We had luggage mats that go on top of vehicles, however, there weren't enough and made such a mess with tiny black pieces all over the floors....everyday I would have to sweep  :headbang: it was a PITA !
These new mats was a life changer for Duke and us. Placed a row going through kitchen and laundry room to the back door, three rows going around the table to their water bowl. What a huge difference the mats made for Duke. Was only falling down a few times and easier for me to lift him up :)
Lol, took off shoes and walked on the mats...WOW....the mats feel good on the feet :bliss: so decided to put them where Dule slept and ate (he would lay down to eat) . He did have a doggie bed but it started to become difficult for him to step up and lay down. Getting on the mats were a lot easier and more comfortable than just the carpet. Just a shame Duke didn't have them a year ago :(

Ahh, i luv it when all your guys utube stuff comes up access denied...cuz hopefully skynet...oops, i mean google isnt in tow
I never get it when that happens, since it takes you to the YouTuber's channel and shows a click on his channel. The best bet, when possible, is to source from the artist's "topic" channel. The artists don't mind having their work shared and promoted.
