I'm glad you're feeling better, and glad some kind of medical professional will be looking at you.
Thank you my friend  , yup nurse said broken but I have it set pretty close and she said if I don't mind the bend it should heal pretty good. ( I did try to set it, pulled it out and over close to where it goes and taped it to the next toe) she said the only thing they woulda done differently was get maybe set my toe a little straighter.:giggle: So I am happy with it as long as it quits hurtin.;)

We've had dry weather here for the past week, need rain. They are sayin in the upper 80's low 90's in a few here, where'd spring go  . I need to get out and cut mine too, I'd rather shovel snow:facepalm: but like the warmer weather. I am gonna haveta take some pic's of my garden so far just haven't had the time to:(, startin to get weeds too. At least the outside chores come with sunshine and fresh air, I love the smell of spring air with all the flower smells.
We're gettin along fairly well, I haven't food poisoned us yet:giggle:, thank you for askin my friend:hug:

I have a "never match" with an idea and lyrics that play to the previous title, so the next person can queue from the previous for a word match.

This may be the saddest song in history, resignation, almost a suicide note, wiping yourself out with criticism before anybody else can do it. Lyrics:

Because I have loved so deeply
Because I have loved so long
God in his great compassion
Gave me the gift of song

Because I have loved so vainly
Sung with such faltering breath
Oh, oh, oh, the Master in
His infinite mercy
Offers the boon of death

"Compassion"
-Nina Simone

Because it's only a 90 second song, if I'm listening to it I'm setting it on "replay" so I can soak up the beauty of it at least five times.

That's how the subconscious works. Your wounded toe brought out that song.

I hope you're doing better. I hope that nurse told you to keep it bound up for a while so the bone can knit.

It's none of my business, sorry.
Don't be sorry, I appreciate the concern my friend
I have been keepin it taped to the next toe, it's made a knot between the joints but I can live with that.

Walmart Plus will do the shopping for you and deliver as well. Just order online, but then again I'm not sure of their organic selections...

For the scorched pans you gotta keep the heat lower and if something is on the stove you need to be near it or have a timer set.

Thanks to a broke plane I got home at 3:30PM instead of 12 noon yesterday. My son-in-law dropped off his car in front of my house and he and I walked down to the fairgrounds for the county spring fair. My wife, daughter, and grandbabies were already there. Being an old phart I got in for free instead of paying $15. This was the first full on fair since the 'rona bullstuff and it was pretty packed. The fair is a big thing for the town we live in especially for the 4H and FFA kids. I was glad to see it in full swing.

Thank you, put off some of my research to get ready to go dread grocery shoppin :giggle: People are so rude at the stores around here:(

I did some research Jimi. Instacart delivers in East Peoria, including several different grocery stores. I know it costs a little more than shopping yourself, but you'll get that back in the time you're giving yourself to heal. You don't have to sign up for any contract. You can get one delivery, or keep getting them until you're not hobbling around on a broken toe any more. If you do sign up, they have big discounts on unlimited deliveries for six months, a year, or whatever.

You choose your items, and for each one you can list an approved substitution or just say to refund the item if it isn't available. If the shopper delivers non-organic when you have ordered organic, or delivers any item you didn't order or specify as an approved substitution, they refund it. Customer support can see what you ordered, and what scanned out at check-out, but really I've hardly ever had any issues at all.

That's all I'll say about it. I want the best for you, but I don't want to be a nag.

I just don't like other people pickin out my food, especially since I eat so much fruit and produce. I got in one of those carts the other day and it helped a ton ;)

Thank you my friend, I am doin better and yes haveta stand right there, that's how I toasted the last pan, walked away:facepalm:
