ALLERIA RTA v2 BY AUGVAPE

In my opinion, for what is worth, the Boreas is a cloud maker with very good flavor and the Alleria is a flavor monster with huge clouds. It has a lot to do with the built in them. I have SS fused claptons in both, Alleria at 0.19 ohms, TC at 60W, 490 deg.F and Boreas at 0.16 ohms, TC at 65W, 490 deg.F.
and using the same juice. I have 2 holes open on the Boreas AFC which is very close to the 4/5 open AFC on the Alleria. The vapor seems to be just a little brighter and sweeter on the Alleria, the Boreas brings in more of the citrus flavors. They are both great, but depending on mood, I'll take the Alleria over the Boreas or the Boreas over the Alleria and definitely either of them over the Griffin and the Theorem.

I got pissed when I bought my Alleria for full price from Subtank Supply and then a week later they were everywhere on sale for $20.
Don't feel bad, I payed $40 for my Alleria on e-bay.....didn't know about STS and I had to have the tank as soon as possible!:headbang:

I ordered mine from subtanksupply not long after they came out. Works for me to order from them because they are 3 hours south of me and I get my orders within a couple days. They are a good group to work with. I will see if I get my wallet to open right now for one. I am trying to save for the new Homh Tech Homh Slice to buy when it drops.

That is one sweet looking mod! Will it also work with 18650s?
Any idea who will be selling them? I held off the 26650 mods but this one looks good! I'll be keeping an eye on this one.
From what I know, it is 26650 only. Once I pick that up, I will sell my Homh wrecker g2. I got the battery upgrade on my dna200 lavabox and that has been great for long battery life but lost my small pocket mod because the battery makes it big. Still more comfortable than the g2. So get the Homh Slice for my small pocket TC mod.

I have been using this drip tip on my different rta's and tanks. It adds to the flavor. Only down side is of course it doesn't fit tightly into anything other than the alleria because of the fins for adjusting juice flow. Get a pack of these and grind off the fins maybe... hmmmm

Great find!

:gaah::cuss2: Lol! Hey, it's down to $21 there, that's cheap!
I personally have never used a clone rta. The price difference isn't so much that it's worth the risk to me... it's the rdas where the price difference is 150$ that clones make sense.. to me anyway. I'd rather pay the extra 10 bucks and get an authentic alleria, and not have to wait five years to get it from fasttech haha

Yep, people that buy a Clone for $20 while the authentic goes for $30 -$35 are being ridiculously cheapskates. I'll buy a clone "if" the authentic is either no longer available "or" if I don't want to spend $150 on something I can't check/try out in person before buying. I got burned on a Viscous Ant AX1, spent $125 on that colossal overpriced piece of shit of an RDA.

The velocity is a great example of that. It's not so easy to get ahold of an authentic, and they're about $125 I believe. It's sad they got cloned to the insane degree that they have, but they have such limited runs that for most people the clone makes more sense to buy

Yeah I've got two Tobeco Velocity V1 Clones, which work rather well. I kept chasing the Authentic for some time and "finally" was able to get an authentic V2. Simply an amazing RDA that IMO goes beyond all the hype surrounding it. Best $125 I've spent for the build quality and attention to detail ........ it's a work of art IMO.

I think Allerias are only $2 more on FT than the clones, SMH. But, let me tell you what some people did in one of my ecf threads. I had recommended the Bellus, which was a whole $18.50 on Efun. They wouldn't pay that and bought $14 clones from FT  That is beyond cheap.

Ej, $6 vs. $60 is understandable, but saving a buck or three....not quite sure. Then again, they might be in a different financial situation and trying to maximize their vaping purchase with the funds available. Personally, I would rather buy the authentic when feasible if we're talking a few difference in price.

Another reason for me to get a Clone is to give your middle finger to a shitty company.

Generally you get what you pay for in most cases.

I also like supporting those that are actually "creating" and innovating rather than Clone makers who are out just to make a buck off those who actually do the work and "create".

Sometimes
Clones are better version
I'm just saying

Why I would get a Alleria clone. The authentics both feel super cheap. Shit threads, weird feeling metals, other shit. I might get one just to see how well theyre made.

Yeah, the Alleria wasn't exactly as good as the others. Is the latest version better?

Well now, I wasn't going to belly ache about the Alleria'so quality since it is such a great tank, but if the machining is improved, I'll just have to get another one and see.

It was better. Still not great. They fixed the sharp edges and the shitty threads (somewhat), but the threads still kinda suck and it still feels cheap and flimsy. But once you set it up, none of that matters really, but taking it apart it feels like garbage lol.

I was kinda iffy on the Boreas because of how the Alleria felt and the problems it had, since theyre made by the same company, but the Boreas is spot on and hands down my favorite tank.

For me I got much better flavor from the Alleria than the boreas. Could be a wicking issue though

What are your thoughts on the merlin? Did it meet your expectations?

Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

The prototypes are A1, which I wasn't expecting for prototypes. So I'm expecting the production version to be excellent.

Yea the Alleria is a flavor monster to me. The thing works great when its set up, but all the problems come out when youre taking it apart and putting it together.

I just got one for review. What a pain to coil.
My biggest thing is the dry firing. What a ridiculous thing to require so much assemble/disassemble repeatedly to get it ready. Does have great flavor though

Try it on the Tornado with 6 coils :D Dry burning was easier for me on the Moonshot, lol!

All you gotta do to dry fire is put the deck in the sleeve and then on the base. Not that that hard. You dont gotta put the entire thing together. I like my Moonshot tho. Its good for mid resistance builds at lowish watts. I set mine up around .5-.6 and use it on the Nugget maxed out at 50 watts. Works fine. Just cant use any fancy coils for that set up. Thinking about making some micro SS fused claptons for it tho.

I got some 3.5mm fused Claptons in my Moonshot. Probably why I though it was a pain with the 2 post holes.

How on earth did you fit 3.5mm coils? 3mm is a very very tough fit on the moonshot...

What I meant was. Put it in the sleeve, on the base, fire, disassemble to wick, reassemble. It's just ridiculous to me. I definitely vote yes on the ss :D

I tried 4 first, but couldn't do it :D 3.5 fit fine though, 6 wraps each.
