A happy, late good morning to everyone:)

Ha-ha-ha...lilruping is a good humored person of questionable gender. I love messing with him/her
'cause he/she will always come up with a witty comeback.

Besides, the only ones on a rampage will catch up to ya no matter how fast you run.
They are everywhere and they ALWAYS COME OUT AT NIGHT
I can look under lilruping's skirt for you. I believe she/he is in the next town over.

IKR...Mad magazine was the bomb... I even had a few Spy vs Spy paperback books that featured just that strip. I wish I had kept up with my collection but Rolling stones....

My sister-in-law whom we call Alleyfish, Fishkins, Fish, etc. is also a Pisces:)When she wants to avoid us she swims to the bottom of the bowl. It's a common saying around here, "Where's Alison"? "She's at the bottom of the bowl".

Antonio Prohias, the author of Spy vs Spy, born: 1921- died: 1998 was a great guy and known by my family
I was reading his cartoons way before he began work for MAD.

Hey @muth , I'm wanting to get another RTA that is at least as good as the SubTank mini in rba mode. Do you have any advice about that? I mean if it's better to just get another subtank i will but I'm looking for some variety. I heard the Lemo was solid but dont know anyone personally that owns one. What say ye?

69 degrees here, relative humidity 39%, precipitation 0%....
Have hammock, have tree, have shade, have desire to laugh hysterically at poor cold schmucks
while I blow vape and smoke at the 'squitoes and hang loose in the warm Florida Sun.
Oh look, a chemtrail

Anything north of Broward County is acceptable.
Lot's of rednecks in the panhandle near Tallahassee, good old boys elsewhere.
Beaches are beautiful on the west coast, Ft Walton Beach is lovely.
The keys smell like dead fish. Key West is OK if you're young and gay but it smells real bad.
Stay heck out of Miami. It's OK to pass through and take pictures...have a cafe and move on.

What are you interests and desires? Golf? Old chicks? Culture (LOL, good luck)
I'll try to play tour guide for ya. What are you looking for in Florida?

If I ever moved it would be after I retire and it would be for the weather. I would prefer a rural setting(if possible) and I would need Dark sky's as I plan to acquire this set up in the near future. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produ...RBX12_RBX_12_Reverse_Binocular_Telescope.html

your interests are young gay and old chicks? OK, whatever turns your trolley.
Young gay guys would be in Key West.
Gay chicks young or old would be Tallahassee. For some reason UF in Gainesville attracts sexually straight party chicks and gay guys
while FSU in Tallahassee attracts serious studious gay chicks.
Most of your bisexual WICCA types are in North Central FL.

Cool. That's a nice job, must be seriously into into it.
The one I want is only about $500. I've wanted a new telescope for ever, especially since my kid was born.
I spent many wonderful moments staring at the stars and planets on much smaller but never-the-less
great Tasco scope. Twas good enough for checking out craters on the moon and the rings on Saturn.

I'd say that just like me you want a rural out in the country but still close enough to all the amenities.
I like the area right outside of Gainesville. You have access to the University's cultural and informational resources,
Shands Teaching Hospital, yet you'd be out in the boonies after a 5-10 minute drive.
You can get a great quarter acre or larger, 5 acre spread, 4 bed 2 bath, look for block
'cause they do get 'canes, on solid ground 'cause they do get sink holes, for relatively cheap even in comparison to Nashville.

I used to spend a lot of time at the Miami Science Museum and Planetarium.
They have the real big scopes and a little observatory away from the lights in Coconut Grove.

I'll tell ya about the time my ex and I saw a saucer at South Beach sometime.

There is nothing more humbling than an evening with clear skies and a very big Scope. Really puts things in perspective sometimes. Aperture is the great equalizer when it comes to light polluted skies. I have seen objects through my big 17.5 telescope in areas where they were listed as "Impossible" or "Near impossible" to see due to LP. The Drawback of a huge scope is the loss of mobility. It definitely isn't a Grab&Go type deal but I've got smaller scopes for those impulsive type moments. Here is a picture of my exact telescope with a man standing next to it as reference .

Hey @glassgrl, I thought I'd show you some pix of the Fog Box before I finish shape, sand and stain etc. I did add a few things, a different switch and a full size spring loaded 510, but obviously I mostly took away. After opening the top wood ring to clear 23mm tanks, I thought the remaining wood was too weak and would crack the first time it was dropped. Rather than replace it with brass or plastic as I first thought, I just took most of it away, and added the new 510 so the atty always sits firmly. Couldn't resist exposing the copper battery tube. Total height to the top of the battery tube is now 78mm. All sharp edges will be rounded before refinishing. Feels great in the hand, and will fit nicely in my shirt pocket. :)

I will never do another. Too much work. ;)

It's about 1/4" shorter than stock now. All the edges will be softened before refinishing. Feels great in the hand, and will fit nicely in my shirt pocket. :)

No actually he is just a random dude...I google searched "Coulter 17.5 telescope" and two pics of this dude came up. The one I posted and a pic of the same guy, same scope 10yrs later. I don't have any pics of my scope that show how large it really is. I'll see if I can find a decent pic of myself. All my pictures tend to be work related though.
