I get emails saying processed, shipped, etc.
I've done that before because ebay wanted to charge me even though my listing got fcukd up when everyone got hit by some Nigerian scammers. So I shut my account instead of paying them. A couple of months later I opened a new one. Obviously I continued to use my true credentials. Ebay has never mentioned it to me again. That was a couple of years ago.

My ebay account is there, just not able to do anything in My Ebay. Says they can't access that whatever..settings, feedback. I better tell my son, he'll flip his shit over it. He does a lot of RC buying and selling.
