Woke up a bit early this Sunday, but it's OK..NFL football starts early too.
Gotta have food for that...right?
I blame the CBS Morning Show for having a segment on Spam. Made me friggin' crave some and it so happened I had one tin of my Japanese-Market Spam left.
So, this happened:
(BTW...plz spare me the OMG it's 9999 calories, metric tonnes of fat and yer gonna dieeeee....)
It's fried pork shoulder and ham with onions and peppers, egg and cheese....sound better?

- A Seattle Sourdough Co. French Hoagie Roll
- Japanese Spam, sliced and fried with onions and sweet peppers
- El Yucateco XXXhot Habanero sauce + some smokey BBQ sauce for the roll
- One egg, beaten with garlic pepper & Sambal Olek
- Colby-Jack Cheese
- Everything got some fresh finely-ground pepper - no salt needed, obviously. ;-)

ProTips for chip bags:
After pulling the top open, fold down the edges.
That way, it won't split and you can easily just roll it down as you consume.
I use wooden clothespins for closing my chip bags. Works great and it's easy. =)
A bag of them will last years, unlike those plastic clips. They are CHEAP too.
The pins you're looking at, were given to me used in 1996...still kicking..

I link common sense to the will of society....I operate more long the lines of compassion and knowledge. That makes me weird so I'm told.
If the food is spectacular, I will endure it, but I tend to sequester myself in some distant corner with that "leave me be" face.

How many modern folks even have seen a wooden clothespin, much less consider them for other uses beyond wet laundry? Just thought I'd share something inventive, inexpensive and possibly useful.
