And inebriated people. I quit the bar scene out of financial needs. When the local watering hole I went to raided the price of domestic tap beer to $3.50 for a 12 oz schooner, I passed.
Although I am 10 years sober, the way I see it now-a-day's, even though the social part of it is great to be out with friends, but the cost and the risks driving and all, it seems much safer to buy your own and socialize at your or a friends home being careful to designate a driver or cab. IMO
May daughter needs a quality key chain type pepper spray. She has a new job in downtown Los Angeles and sometimes has to make her way back to her car after dark. I have no experience with them. Do any of you?

9 years sober, here! only hit a club if there's a band i just have to see. it takes a while to truly appreciate the flavor of good, filtered water. but it's much better for ya.

The keychain ones are not that good . Reason is that they are small and do not have a lot of oomp to spray and you should spray them every once in a while to make sure they work and are not clogged . If you spray them to test then next thing you know they are out of spray when you need them .

Hmmm, yeah that's hard. Even if you go with a multi pack same problems arise right. Because they are so small you have to wait till said person is close to you to spray and really you do not want them close to you. Keep them as far away as possible is far better. You also have to make sure how the wind is blowing that day or your daughter could be the one down from the spray and not the said be attacker. Taser perhaps ? Or does have a self defence place she could phone to see what they suggest , because they will know what is legal where she lives?
