i was pretty much able bodied. i had a heart attack in 2005. only i didn't know it was a heart attack. i waited the weekend and even worked for for a day and half, after that. by the time a co-worker came and dragged me to the hospital, my valve was 99.9% blocked and the entire inside of my left ventricle is dead. they did angioplasty and put a stent in. i left the hospital AMA, the next morning and returned to work 5 days later. no meds, no nothing.

by 2010 i was back in again. but this time i knew what it was, though it took the staff a few days to figure it out. i was put on meds then, but continued to work. last year they put 2 more stents in. on top of that, i have arrhythmia and hardening of the arteries. my heart function is 20-25%.

then there's the fibromyalgia! lol!

i'm a tough sumbitch, but those days may be over soon. :p
It is actually interesting to hear how many people have heart attacks without knowing it. Because of the seizure meds I have been on since I was 20, I have liver issues. Probably 5 years ago, I was in bed at about 2 AM and let my wife know that for a while I had been having a lot of pain in my chest and left arm so we decided to go the ER. They ran all their tests and nothing. Of course the next step was the gas diagnosis and embarrasingly taking some medicine for that, but an hour later no relief so they did a scan of my liver and discovered that it was inflamed and diagnosed me with the early stages of liver cirrhosis

Sadly I would never live to tell about it, no matter how minor.

Och, that was so much rubbish. I would hate to live with that much anger and derision towards other people...known or unknown. I divorced myself from that convo yesterday.
Ah... hadn't looked at the time stamps on your messages, just saw the thread because it had a new post today. It is really irritating when people jump to the conclusion that someone must be lieing simply because they couldn't have had enough experience with something before deciding they don't like it and get rid of it.

It's kind of like a parent trying to force feed a child broccoli when it only took the kid on nibble to figure out that they didn't like it.

Sometimes you are a man of to few words. What condition makes your heart so fragile? Other than being broken a time or two?

Hell, I only owned my God Box for a week before I sold it. And I felt it quite unnecessary to explain further how I had bought the Authentic Simpl from Mike who owns 510 Vapers and tends to get things before they ever hit the retail outlets.

Acute Dilated Cardiomyopathy, Congestive Heart Failure, Type II Diabetes, Hypertension. All are well managed, but a mild heart attack or even the flu can kill me outright. The good news is my death will be completely painless...I will merely fall asleep and never wake up. The bad news is that my clinical life expectancy was up three years ago.......nothing that I have is at this time curable. The best news of all is that I let none of this control or define me whatsoever! I am a happy soul.

I am that way because I have "Died to my self"....thus I am quite uncomfortable with sympathy, and to some extent....attention.

New Classique box on the left, new Aspire Atlantis on the Wizard Box on the right.

What is the middle one? Probably shouldn't even ask. It doesn't look like something mere mortals can acquire.

Hello everyone. Holiday stress is kicking my ass.

The middle one and the one on the right have no names. They are both one-offs made for me by John of Wizard Modz. The "Shorty" is one of only two that he will make....however he is thinking strongly of using that format for a dual battery DNA 40 box for me.

Hows the Aspire Atlantis working out.....any good?
Superb! Solidly built, TONS of airflow (adjustable), and has NO issues with 100% VG juice. The heads are .5ohms and have four juice holes feeding the wick that surrounds the vertical coil.

In my strong opinion...the Aspire Atlantis is perfect for a person that wants to dip a toe into the world of sub-ohming, but does not want to fanny about with rebuilding.

Thank you. John is a perfectionist and amazing woodworker. He just received a CNC lathe and mill for more wood projects.....that is once he figures out how to work them lol.

It can handle the 100+ watt world (vaped it on a Variant earlier), but also is quite capable on a dual battery unregulated device.

I see. So in other words an MVP ain't gonna cut it.

Sound like a really good tank, I really like the mini's when I am on the go, just not sure if I want to invest in yet more coils, I don't mind building my own. Flavor has been really good with Aspire products

Nope. The best mounts for this are regulateds that can deliver upwards of 50w. But again, a dual battery unregulated does just fine as well.

I think the Nautilus and Nautilus Mini will be around forever. I still rate them SLIGHTLY above the Aerotanks. SLIGHTLY.

Thanks, seriously thinking about making an investment, maybe in an ipv 2s and the aspire. Won't be today or tomorrow though.

Sounds like every day is definitely a gift. Fortunately doc life expectancy estimates are more driven by malpractice CYA than actual medical conditions themselves.

Not a big fan of sympathy myself. It makes me uncomfortable for some reason too. Emapthy is different though.

I have mentioned Mike from 510 Vapers on many the occasion. That is Mike and his wife April in the background.
Saw that pic earlier. You really do get some beautiful mods. The guy you get them from does really nice work.

Too funny . That's a joke in our family that I am the bad kid and the black sheep. I mean can you imagine me being bad or a black sheep ? Really ..............

I was a horrible kid for the longest time......it took me years and years to get my life together o_O I really do like Christmas time, Thanksgiving...my favorite time of the year for sure
