Vaping some Djaram clove tobacco in my Veritas/SVD with a nice cuppa coffee.

It's almost like the old coffee-crowd days, with the beatnik/punk/goth crowd in the late 80s-'90s.

Argh...

I went to check out the building's laundry room today, never used it.
It's basically a closet with a W/D and small sink. It's empty ATM, but it's quarters only and $1.25 per wash and 0.25 per period of drying...it doesn't state how long that is. Pretty decent machines though, digital displays and about five buttons for settings. Very plain.

I have $2.50 in quarters. Guess I'll wait until stores open for more change.

Some owners of public dryers set the temp quite low unfortunately. I think they do this in order to make more money.

It is likely 5 minutes drying for a quarter.

Sure, this place is run by a property management co., not actual landlords. They give no fucks. I'd wager it's set to 10-15mins max.

Reminds me, I gotta tell them the hall/stairwell lights are out again..gotta carry my Cree mini-torch so I can bloody see.

Would not surprise me. That, would make it practically useless.

Anyways, I'm not gonna start a wash until I know I have enough quarters to finish the job...for all I know they could be busted.

Better to just schedule a go to The Fam's since I need several loads done. ;)

Just tired of laundry piling up. I haven't had all of my clothes actually washed at the same time in about a decade. :-/

.25 cents is usually 10-15 minutes well atleast thats what it was when I HAD to go to the laundry after we flooded.

IDK, I'm just disgruntled at this morning.

Woke up around 0530 with Tiki running stampeding over me and bouncing off my pilow per the usual.

Got up, made coffee, fed cat, ate some leftovers and watched some news. It's a nice day, so figged on doing some cleaning and stuff.

Problem: I can't vac or run the shampooer yet as it's still early for that level of noise. Can't do washing as don't have change.

Bleh....guess I'll sweep the kitchen/bathroom..that'll take 5mins...lol

okay last night was torture. I have to go buy a new humidifier / vaporizer. I would try to clean this one out with vinegar but I'm pretty sure it's shot. Loaned it to my friend who lives in the country and she used it with well water.

? Is it yellow? The yellow comes out real easy with just water.. If its crusted with hard water, it'll come out with a little CLR and a good rinse.

I'm just going to go buy a new one, they only cost like $25 or something. I'm too dehydrated to even dick around with this thing, plus I've started snoring so loud I'm waking myself up every five minutes.

OK, problem solved, ran down to the CVS, got a $21 Vics vaporizer (same exact model as the one that fried) and it's been on only ten minutes now and I can already feel the difference. The humidity in this place must have been in the negatives.
