The Kerch is awesome. Best bridge I’ve used to date and that includes the Snail(clone), Bridg’d (clone), VapeShell, Insider (clone), Exocet (clone) and Xeta. Unless something magical happens between the clones and the authentics I’d say this is the best. Easy build and wick, great flavor. The only con I’d say is airflow options: you only get 2.5 and 1.2mm. I could use a 3mm, but I’ll be testing it with 32/38 Ni80 dual fused claptons soon. Should be around 0.5 ohms so that should be okay.
Oh and it’s got TINY little fuckers for screws. TINY.
I have a 27/38 Ni80 fused claptons in it now and it’s pretty hot at 35 watts. Like I said, could use a 3mm airflow.

That was my one concern is that it seems to be a dual coil rba… which I know you can set as single; I just felt it’s not the intended use and dual was the way to go.

Which again, guessing… but that’s a lot of warmth in a small package, definitely a stash mostly for condensation reasons.

Tiny screws, like wobbler tiny or just, “I’m glad it came with a tool tiny cause I didn’t have that small of a driver” tiny?

I am running mine with a single coil at .45 ohm. It does have tiny allen head grub screws. But it does come with flat blade grub screws

Oh they’re definitely solid screws but I had to bust out the nano screwdriver set for the flatheads. None of my Torx bits fit the hex screw for some reason… the closest one fit just enough to loosen them but I wouldn’t trust using it to tighten them down.

I wouldn’t say it’s meant for dual coils, per se. I think of the four terminals as being meant for flexibility. Doesn’t matter which direction you wrap your coil, singles, duals. It all works and works well. Leg length is important though. 3mm max for me… probably shorter for duals. I’m using it in single coil right now and it’s a goddam joy. Seriously.

They wobblers?

Wobblers to me is when you place a coil in, tighten the screw and the head of the screw is canted when it makes a bite.

Many RDAs and RTAs are notorious for this, Haku being one… drives me nuts. Especially when using grubs.

Ah ok makes sense looking at it as dual wrapping with the terminals.

Just threw me off in the group seeing the massive coils peeps are putting in a tiny 12mm rba

Just assumed it was dual coil designed

I think Dylan designed it to give with that intent but also the flexibility angle.
Those people are just doing it because they can. With the airflow available it doesn’t make sense to me. Vapor that’s too hot kills flavor in my experience.

I didn't notice any wobbles but I'm blind in one eye and can't see out the other very well too. The one thing I did have to do was use a pair of small vice grips to get the end of the coil flat enough so that the head didn't protrude out to cause a short. Very tight tolerance there. I groved the bottom of my air pin to gain quite a bit more air flow. About the same as the snail now.

Well shit, sounds like a winner, especially at the price point he has/had them.

Glad you both are getting on with them.

Here I am waiting for the Brig’d2 to be delivered, hoping for fucks sake they aren’t delaying it to match the collab production distribution… cause poor chuck won’t have those ready til mid October

So glad I have two RBAs I truly get along with; this time around with Boro is much more enjoyable than it was in 2017.

They’ve really come a long way. The Mission one has my interest but not enough to pay 185 for it or whatever it is. I’m just not into something I have to chase for anymore. I got lucky with the Kerch and hit on the list but if I didn’t I would t be hunting one down, either.
I like the way he didn’t hype it at all either. Literally two posts teasing it, then it got dropped and he let the product speak for itself all at a great price.
Speaking of price, I got on a GB for the Pioneer Insider. Should have it in a couple weeks. I’ll keep you guys posted.

I seen that BP mods the pioneer has one in the same price range as the kerch. 3f has them at $60. Don't know anything about it yet.

I was rooting for you!

When they have another open list to all, I’ll toss my name in.

Maybe you can work a deal out with Trevor on his FloraDeco BoRat?

I might be sending mine in for a body swap and button swap… I really like the “Ribs” design and I want to have some It with Matte Black Buttons

Was trying to hide in the bushes. But coaxed it out for a pic. Some custom panels would be nice later on and that glow tank for the Orbit think would set this off nice.

Very nice! That's my favorite splatter they make now.

Some clear panels would look great on there, maybe matching screws and a custom button? Man it's a deep hole!

I have two that are completely stock and they vape the same as a fully customized one, lol

I have quite a few of the OG rev3's, 2016 Rev4a-40 & Rev4b-40 and 2017 Rev4b-60 now finally the Rev4c-60. I still would like a Lab Rat, Albino Lab Rat or Blanca. I was looking at some stabilized wood with clear acrylic and glow accents in it. But will leave mostly stock for now.

So there was no drop this weekend from BB, they said on FB due to "restructuring some things". Anyone know what's up? I'd love to see a REV 5 with some big updates.

I’d like for them to finally go 21700 and make the boro 7ml+

I’m ok with slightly larger

Be such a minor CAD change and cost increase.

3.5mm thicker 3.5mm taller… can leave the lower half unchanged… boro area grows by 4.5mm in height and 2.5mm wider.

All modders would have to do is manufacture a new chimney section… well minus those with their own tanks.

Or make the flush nut longer or threaded tips longer the modders could accommodate but the m ost like wont adopt unless it popular .

That wouldn’t work unfortunately… the part that fits into the chimney is smaller than the chimney extension and wouldn’t seal the boro.

Sort of why Conor mum only made his mega bones thickness a few mm larger… he didn’t change the height at all to maintain the use of all bridges.

BBV could do the same… but that wouldn’t bring it past 7ml.

That is truly the only downside to the current boro… it’s capacity. 4.5ml is not much at all, even for this guy at 13w

Now I’m going to have more RBAs than Boro Devices

Will decide which RBAs I keep once this and the Brig’d2 arrives.

Guess I should order another boro and parts kit.

Wife is in Vegas for the week… so my spending due to being unsupervised has been a tad excessive lately…

Bike parts for a bike that hasn’t arrived yet

Spare group set, second set of wheels and tires, chains, new brake set and 5 sets of pads, new stem and grips, matchy pedals…

Having more rba's than devices is okay. It's called flexibility in case you want to change things up. My mocha juices taste better with mtl setup where I prefer rdl to dl with my cough syrup (menthol).

Indeed…

I just tend to keep the better of the bunch…

I tend to vape menthol/fruits in boros and leave mechs for bakery.

Firm believer bakery juice just sucks at low wattage

Like that slutty high school girls sweaty ass under the bleachers bad at low wattage

Saw a post on FaceSlut of Grimm having some real difficulties with the Kerch

It amazes me how some individuals do not have the ability to dissect things of simple design such as a RBA shorting or RDA shorting and knowing what causes it to short and see why it’s shorting.

Granted an item given or bought shouldn’t be shorting…

But it’s like how I voltage tested many RDAs over the years… removing shit plating, polishing contact surfaces to eek out 0.02v more than it was factory…

I would of as usual with any new to me or new RBA/RDA/RTA what have you, is break it down fully and make sure all parts are machined cleanly without any burrs etc.

And when putting it back together visually see if anything looks out of line…

Especially coil leads and or terminals hitting the dome… that’s like building/vaping 101 shit

Nick is funny… but this convinced me he’s kind of on the dummy end of the spectrum

I love Grimmgreen. Sometimes he surprised me when he struggles though. He’s barely active on FB so probably doesn’t think to look there for help.
I left him a list of tips and it looks like Dylan did as well. Hopefully he can get it sorted.
I freaking love my Kerch. Running it in the RPG and get very little condensation.

I think it comes down to his “celebrity” and review overload.

if you’re having a hell of a time installing the cap, for whatever reason… that should be a full stop and you investigate, dont be the glue eating kid trying to push a square peg in a round hole

Not going to lie…

Foundation on Apple TV+ is amazing.

So many movies coming out soon on ATV+ , HBOMax

Dune, Matrix 4

Dune I know will be an 8+

Skeptical of Matrix 4 and them ruining it

Then there is John Wick 4 - fucking aye

Anyhoo, carry on

Wow you guys weren’t kidding…

Those hex Kerch grubs and Hex tools fucking suck.

I barley put any force clamping down on 28g and strip, both tool and grub…

Anyway, got the coil mounted and primed, but dumb ass doesn’t have enough of the juice I primed with made to fill a boro

I might try those tiny fucking slotted screws, but can already tell they are ultra soft piece of shits also even before using them.

I mean, why use soft ass shit screws only to save $10 over a 1000 units… truly stupid choice of screws hardness.

Haven’t installed it yet

Didn’t have enough red Pill made to fill a boro… so using the BB now since I have Gallagher’s made up.

Lazy to mix up some, so it will wait til tomorrow.

Took a draw on the bridge naked with just the stock pin and it seems to be right where I like it.

Well I have it installed and filled today...

Going to run 20ml through it and see how I get on with it.

Initial impressions aren't great, I'll have to re-coil it and wick it again to weigh it against the ExoV2... but with the Exo2, I can recoil and wick it in less than 2 minutes.

Flavor is no different than the other two boro bridges I use... or can't discern an improvement, so it has that for it.

Why I truly like the Snail, screws are robust and EZPZ to wick.

Same with the Exo2, screws are not as stout as the Snails, but not butter soft like the Kerch... haven't stripped an allen head on it

This was simple to wick also, just them fucking screws lol

I turned the Kerch logo to the back of the Boro... so I have a blank look ;)

Anyway, I'll fully judge it after 20ml, but as it stands, it will be up for sale soon... the screws just ruin it.... but maybe the slotted screws aren't ultra soft... I don't have high hopes in that truth.

I found that the flatheads were much, much better. Not sure if they’re as soft or not, but I was able to put much more torque on them when installing my coils.
I’m not super upset about it only because the Kerch is less than half the price of the other RBAs you mention. I think it could use some improvements for sure… better screws, more clearance between the cap and posts/screws would help. Or maybe some kind of insulator between them?

The cost is (was) the main appeal

I only toss in simple 28g 2.5mm N80 coils, more than enough clearance for this guy.

I could probably file down the posts, like round the outer corners and tops down a smidge for clearance… but the cap etc went on flawlessly and no issues.

The major downer is the screws… I’ll have to take the ones out and use the slotted ones and maybe that is all it takes for me to like it

It doesn’t vape worse than the others I use, nor vape better, but the QoL of installing a coil is much lower than the others I use.

Once I have to rewick… I’ll give it another go, which is generally every 30ml of liquid.

Only 9ml in this far
