Just like most things at ECF, their classies were ruined 8 some years ago
when they decided they needed pricing "guidelines" to prevent what they called "profiteering".
Profiteering mah lilywhite arse! Profiteering is doubling the price of gas after an earthquake dammit!

Back then, Euro mods like anything from Golden Greek could easily sell for double retail or more.
I uhh... know a guy who once sold GG's top mod/tank pair for $550. Retail was ~$210.
Sold mebbe 4 GG set-ups, never for less than $475.
...until someone complained to Old Soldier. Annd that was the end of that... Price controls.
Then they further destroyed the classies with ridiculous, overbearing regulations on anybody selling anything.

It just pissed me off because I saw a post of his there with a mod that looked familiar from here, and he was saying that he’d got it “almost for free” or something.

Plus he’s there chatting away with them, and they’re clueless! So yep, give ‘em enough rope definitely. It’s like he’s on his best behavior for now. Can’t last too long though!
