How many puffs do you get from 3 drops of e-juice on a basic .4ohm dual coil build at 45 watts?

I'm new to dripping and looking for some basic feedback. Take a quick look at my poll please. Thanks all.

personally, it takes more than 3 drops of e liquid to sufficiently saturate my coil before i fire it up for a blast, toot , huff...but i suppose i could try a temperature wire build...for science...

Thanks for the feedback. I'm really just trying to figure out how many toots I can take before getting that dry, burnt taste. How many hits do you usually get off say, 7 drops?

No idea on 3 or 7 drops, but I put about 15 drops or so in my velocity. It usually gets me about 6ish hits before its dry. Then again, it's a fused clapton dual coil setup that I usually run at 115 watts. I believe it's about 0.2 ohms. It's an enjoyable setup for me.

the way i roll my wicks and at power around 65 watts i usually get around 10 to 12 pulls before i sense a need to paint my coils again...
best answer is to build your coil, wick it properly, saturate the wick/coils, set your power and take a few pulls, look at the build to see how much it still holds, take a few more pulls, look again...after a while you will get a sense of how dry your wick is by taste and vapor production and will just know when to resaturate your build...wicking material varies, inside diameter of coil varies surface area varies, eliquids vary...
you will get more answers than mine...there are a few folks that will chime in...

Sounds like a powerful setup. I heard good things about the velocity RDA. I'm not using that much power.

I totally get this guys question...I am not a good dripper I don't like dripping, because I don't do it right....I haven't done enough of it...it's like tilting a genny, nobody can tell you how to do it, you just have to do it and find out for yourself....a dripper can hit his atty and from the vape he gets knows how many more pulls he can get before he needs to drip....I sort of know, but I just have a tendency to drench the fucker

This. I'll drip 15-20 drops straight down my chuff cap and get 6-8 pulls on some fused dual claptons ohming out around 0.4 at 50-60 watts.

Right now i have dual parallel 24n80 at .15ohms i get about 5 or 6 pulls from 15 drops.... the first 3 are the most flavorful though so i usually drip a few like 5 or 6 every 3 or 4 pulls to keep getting nice rips... like pulsevape said you can feel when its close.... i rarely get dry hits i guess thats why i dislike tc it wont give me the hot vape im used to... even tried at 600degrees and its still too cool for me... itll start to get good then cut off and the end resuly sucks.
