That has to be retarded1, you sounded just like him, especially the part about hating everybody and everything. I have to wonder why SJ wants a guard dog like that, to run off anyone who might actually contribute anything useful. Yep, when on business there a few years back, my wife and I had that experience, and we both speak fluent French. Left Paris and went into the country and had a marvelous time. The French are pretty hospitable people, once you get out of Paris.
Until you get to Nice.... TRY getting an omelette for a New Years hangover! Please dammit, NO more lunch for breakfast...

I only encoutered it on a trip along the Med. The Mrs. and I still laugh about it. I actually went to the CHEF and asked if he would make an omelette. He looked INSULTED, and only replied "NON". Prolly because they make them.. "up there".

Heck yes! Black truffles could make BUTT delicious. There is a place near me called Uptown Grille. They make a Mac & Cheese with filet bites and black truffles. NEVER have had a M&C like that anywhere else. But you HAVE to eat it hot, and there. Because the next day, the oils have separated from the cheese, and the noodles go soggy, and it's just a glop. My mouth is watering thinking about a black truffle omelette...

Not me. If I'm gonna go to the trouble and expense of going out, I want to be treated like I'm welcome there, and valued. If not, I'll go elsewhere... as is clearly evident.

I'm half tempted to take a short drive and buy some truffles, haven't had a truffle omelette in many many moons.
The singer for Sublime and Alice in chains were a terrible losses to music..... They were talented...... For real.....Yeah. That song particularly puts me in great mood.
Guess it is odd that I enjoy music created by folks that use ******, acid. Maybe not. Seems they find great beauty in not being here but out there.

That shit don't get it, down here in the south, where we really do say "y'all come back!" when a customer leaves. And when you sit down, the waitress runs right over and says " what can I get for y'all?" That's hospitality. Apparently the south is the only place you can find it.
