I agree! I haven't found a cherry yet that tasted like a true cherry. Most I've tried tastes like cough syrup. Yuck!Cherry is difficult. I also look forward to replies to this.

Yep either cough syrup and or very chemical tasting.I agree! I haven't found a cherry yet that tasted like a true cherry. Most I've tried tastes like cough syrup. Yuck!
Oh I love fresh cherries! But only if they are ripe. I'll walk through the produce section at the grocery store when Bing cherries are in season and I always have to snitch 2 or 3 from the bags. Then I have to get rid of the pits and stems. It makes one wonder why children's medicine is so often cherry-flavored -- which is exactly the reason why cherry isn't one of my fave flavors; there are a few cherry-flavored confections I can tolerate, but not a lot, and I don't like fresh cherries at all. Too tart, to me.

I hope that Slurpees didn't go the way of the horse. I grew up on those things!! There hasn't been a 7/11 in my neighborhood for a few years so I haven't seen them around.Do y'all remember cherry slurpees? Back when 7/11 and Majik Markets first got started. Those things were GREAT. But Pepsi slurpees were pretty good too.
Andria
No 7/11's here either. They used to be on every street corner in the past. Certain service stations around here still sell cherry slurpees though but they're called icees here.I hope that Slurpees didn't go the way of the horse. I grew up on those things!! +100 DOC....!I had that same problem and then I read Hic's notes and learned a lot. Yall google "Hic's notes" and read it, wealth of information on mixing.
Mornin' love..+100 DOC....!
Morning fugees.....hope everyone has a great Sunday....it's beautiful here....70's, SUNNY...!
About 70 here in Central Kentucky but not sunny.
I know...About 70 here in Central Kentucky but not sunny.
Oh GOD, I don't blame you a bit......Mornin' love..
Supposed to be 80 here today. I don't wanna go to work!!
Ouch for me but that's probably warm for y'all. I had a friend who's stepdad was in the military. He spent a year stationed in AZ followed by 2 years in AK. When he retired and they moved back here, she was running around in shorts, flip flops and cami tops at 65 degrees. People gave her the strangest looks because 65 isn't that warm here. She had to explain that after 2 years in Alaska, 65 was a heat wave.Warm here too, 17 above!
Me too - I remember when I was a kid, that was supposed to be 7/11's schtik, Opened at 7 a.m. closed at 11 p.m. and open 7 days a week - revolutionary!!!
If I call out it costs me a point plus loss of the easy money I'll make tonight. No bitches tonight either! Bonus!!Oh GOD, I don't blame you a bit......
Not bad considering you can see Russia.Warm here too, 17 above!

That would be VERY cool. From a reasonable distance of courseWrong thread - but I do want to see a Siberian Tiger in the wild before I die
I am guessing your using Fa cherry?

Then to St Alphonse or was that before?
I think I may have mentioned before that my cat seems to always know when I'm sad... and today, despite it being a lovely sunny day, not too cold or windy, she is laying on the cushion in the footwell of my desk. Somehow, she knows. I had reached a point where it was a tossup between adding a few drops of WTA to my Achilles, or pouring myself a bowl of razorblades... but the latter would be really hard on my son, so I opted for th WTA. It's really old stuff though, just the last dregs of the open bottle in my cabinet, so I don't know if it will be effective at all. Tastes kinda yucky. I might need to pour a bit from the unopened bottle in the freezer.
I guess this is what I get for believing that VU was my support group, having it yanked away as rudely and almost as abruptly as ECF was yanked away. Slightly less abruptly, since I wasn't suspended, just informed of how unwelcome I am; at least I can visit in this thread.

Andria, I so agree with Lucy! This thread would NOT be the same without you!!!I know you are going through a really rough patch Andria - but you can't let one snide comment from someone most people are afraid to respond to as "everyone hates you."
You are well loved here, not just on this thread

Good god Andria, what are we, chopped liver?
You seem to forget many of us fugee's go way back with you and we are still here with you.
It's the introduction of oxygen that will cause it to degrade, not the thawing itself, so as long as you limit the exposure, you should be fine thawing it out to use, then re-freezing it.Well, that's why I said "at least I can still visit in this thread." But at the moment, I am disinclined to burden you all, my last remaining haven, with the details of the dire extremity of my sadness, for fear of alienating y'all too. I just thought it was really neat, how a little animal seemed to pick up on it, especially since she's far more a daddy's girl than a mama's girl. I figured that to her, I was merely the Door Opener, and pet-giver when he's not home.
I had to dump my Achilles; that very old WTA tasted really bad. I'm not sure it's worth it, to get into the bottle in the freezer; it's 100% VG, so I don't know if it's possible to syringe any up out of the bottle, even with a 12ga needle. But I don't want to get the bottle out and let it reach room temp, for fear that I might not then be able to put it back in the freezer for further long-term storage. Since I don't use it regularly anymore, I'm afraid it might mean that the entire 15ml gets old in the cabinet and is wasted; it's much too expensive to waste.

Not liking that last statement AT ALL Andria!!! You are a much loved member of this thread. I would REALLY, REALLY miss you should that occur!!That's good to know. But I think I'll first try to syringe some out of the bottle, with one of those 12ga needles; they're pretty fat. I think my disinclination to do anything at all is probably ample proof that I really need to vape some of that. I didn't sleep much last night, and really wanted to just not get up at all this morning, but for some damn reason I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep. Now I feel sleepy, since I've eaten, but I'm afraid if I take a nap, I'll have another sleepless night. ATM, I'm in that frame of mind that would love to go to sleep and just never wake up.
