Interesting - Me and @Atchafalaya have one year today, btw :stars2::confetti::hearts:

@chopdoc has a one year badge, but it says in his profile box member since Oct. 2014 - it should say two years :soapbox:

EDIT: you have been a member since July 2014

I think they are working something new with the banners, They found the glitch with my feed back issues:bliss:
Hey Andria, where do you buy the WTA's from?

I know I'm not Andria, but:

I got an email last January from an outfit that said they bought out Wholecig and had WTA available for retail

HOLEEE FUCK!!!!! There's been a MASSIVE fire under I-85 just at the edge of Atlanta-proper, the northbound lanes have completely collapsed... traffic at a total standstill for for 10s of miles in both directions of all the adjoining roads and freeways. GOOD GOD.

What a heard is that earlier there was an oil tanker that was leaking, which is apparently what started the fire. What magnified it into catastrophic proportions was that under that stretch of bridge, the DOT had stored some PVC conduit and also massive spools of PVC, which fed the fire to the point that it could not be put out, and did not even slow down until the entire segment of bridge collapsed and smothered a good part of the flames where the PVC was. I heard that over this mile of I-85, counting both directions, daily volume is approx 400,000 vehicles. I also heard that there have been no fatalities reported, not even amongst the firefighters who were trying to put it out. So it could have been so much worse... but you thought Atlanta traffic was bad before? Now there are 400,000 vehicles which have to find an alternate route, in both directions, for some months to come.

Andria

ETA: the fire started about 6:30pm, just at the end of rush hour, so the lack of fatalities is downright miraculous. The bridge collapsed right around 7:30pm; at 8pm, when I got up fromt he TV and started dinner, the fire was *almost* out. Thank god, the smoke was going NW, rather than NE towards where I live!

Ok, here's an image -- it's really large, so I uploaded it to Tumblr -- to see it full size, just right-click --

tumblr_onnm64Zz3s1vga2mio1_1280.jpg

The red circle at the lower-left corner is the *approx* location of the fire -- just before 85 joins with 75 for the Connector thru the city -- the red circle at the upper-right is where I am -- thankfully many miles to the NE, and the heavy black smoke was heading NW. And now we're about to have that huge storm that already hit Atcha and choppie.

When I first quit smoking I made an account here and on ECF and some how ended up spending all my time over there until we all came here.
July 2014 is my official quit smoking date.

I dumped that Merlin that was unvapable, cleaned it, dry burned the SS Clapton coil in it and put a new wick in it. Refilled it with some yummy Strawberry Shortcake juice and it is back to vaping good :D

When I feel the need I will try one drop of WTA in the tank and see how that goes.

Do you have a dripper? I'd just do one good one at something like that first.

My unsolicited two cents :p

Yes, I came over here when Joe posted about it over there, before they banned and blacklisted him... It was right after my appendectomy, and my biggest issue at that time was that I was smoking again, despite the nearly 4 months I'd been smoke-free before the surgery. So I just kinda forgot about VU, during all that angst. Technically I've been a member for over 2 yrs, nearly 3 yrs now... but *actually* I've been an *active* member for about 14 months, or pretty close to 14 months... Feb 9 was the anniversary of when I came back here. My quit date now is also in July. :)

When I was on ECF I was also here. I didnt say much at all here, I mainly combed the DIY section a couple times a month looking at recipes and idea's. Hic has always been one of my favorite mixers and he is exclusively here. I learned more about mixing just from reading Hic's post than I ever learned on ECF.

I can try a drip of it in the Goon I been vaping.

I tried it. Two drops of WTA, 20ish drops of Beserket in the goon. Throat hit is a bit more than usual and head buzz from it. Must be working :cloud::cloud::cloud:

Takes maybe half an hour, for the full effect, vapor absorption being so slow. What it mainly does is 1) takes a totally gloomy mood and makes it not quite so desperate, admitting at least the *possibility* of hope, and 2) completely removes those bone-deep cravings that make you feel that you will actually DIE if you don't get a cigarette.

Still, damn sight better than the 2 wks it takes for fucking antidepressants to start working! Damn sight cheaper, too!!!

Well hey y'all, I do have some really good news. That authentic KFL+ I bought is getting broken in, and vaping pretty good!! I find that I just need a slightly stronger and sweeter mix of my strawberry & cream, and a bit more wattage, but now that the first coil and wick I put in it is getting really broken in, it's not doing badly at all! Which makes me not quite so pissed off and bummed out about not being able to get anymore Achilles. I just won't fill it as full as I possibly can, but just put the same 2.5ml in it that I put in my Achilles, so that the gunk problem won't get bad.

It's a fact that men aren't nearly as detail-oriented as women. A couple sees a beautiful young woman. The wife sees: her outfit: how it fits, how it's accessorized, if her shoes match, if her purse matches her shoes; her hair, is it styled? Or looks like she just woke up and couldn't find a brush? is she a real blonde, or a bottle blonde with dark roots showing? Her makeup: is it tasteful? Whorish? Too pale? Her lipstick too dark, or does she have some of it on her teeth?

The man sees: she's HOT (tongue dragging ground, knuckles dragging, caveman style).

Andria

*chuckling* Errrrm. I see both points of view on both men and women, as in I check out all the little details. I also do the whole caveman thing as well. Then again, I'm kind of cross-wired. *chuckling harder*

Never have understood huge ass breasts on a woman though. Sorry, there's a point for me where that's grotesque and highly off putting, feel the same about willy sizes too. Wife laughs and says I'm a butt man. Rather have a whole person if given a choice. *chuckles*

Damn! Would hazard they popped some PKP in the tunnel. Sounds like an ideal situational use for it given a need to get the fire out as quickly as possible. In a tunnel like that fire can do all kinds of zany party tricks possibly being highly perilous to many.

Would that work just putting a couple drops into the tank along with your regular juice?
Good morning folks:wave::coffee:

Absolutely! I still occasionally find a need to do that, though it's over a year since I finally stopped the regular use. My Achilles holds 2.5ml, so if I'm feeling REALLY low, I've been known to add one or two drops to it. Then no more, because I don't want the "habit" of it again, it's too hard to drop.

My badge is gone now. :(

I dont know why you dont have your 1 year badge. Maybe @Whiskey can figure that out.

Yea and my internet is down at home AGAIN! So, I'll talk to you guys Monday. *****sniff*****

As much as your internet is always out you really need to call the providers and demand they give you credit for the days that you dont have service.

Not sure what they are doing, I know That Rage was testing them out last night, they may still be working on the tech part of getting them to work.

I know this is an old thread, but ECF has been the worst vaping forum for a long time now. I'm not saying it's totally useless, but the moderating there is no fascistic you almost can't post anything without being banned or having your post deleted. It's insane.

And now I see that they started their own vape shop vaping ( dot com). I could be wrong, they may have sold the domain, but last I checked the people that own ECF owned that domain, so I'm assuming they still do and opened a vape shop on it. That doesn't bother me in and of itself, but their prices are astronomically high.

Not really an "old" thread, though it's in its 2nd edition we're all so damn chatty. :D Just a bunch of us who "knew" each other over there, who found each other again over here! FREE AT LAST!!! :giggle: And yeah, most of us have a real hate-on for Butthole Central, a/k/a Control-Freak Central. :)

I just spent my whole lunch break on the phone with them. :(

Can't you get some other provider? I know it can be kinda limited; for really high-speed internet even here in metro ATL, one is usually limited to whoever the local cable company is, and AT&T... and *maybe* one other, though that might only be my particular area that has that 3rd option.

Maybe you could get an unlimited-data plan from a mobile-phone provider and do a hotspot/tethering thing.

All we have in the country is DSL or satellite, which is limited and sooooo expensive.
It should be working by the time I get home from work. I'm sooooooo glad it's Friday. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There is a third alternative that you might not be aware of. Cellular Internet. I use to use AT&T cellular internet for gaming before I got cable. Sat gaming was a hassle with the 1 to 2 second lag and they refuse to run me cable at the time so I had no choice and really, it was good service. The downside is you cant stream movies and stuff like that because you limited on data but for normal internet cruising, its not bad at all.
