Wow, it IS still morning. Amazing! 
I have to get up early tomorrow; ADT is coming to install my new Nest thermostat.... so I'll no longer have to wake up sweltering in the summer, or freezing in the winter, thx to a thermostat with digits so tiny I can't reprogram it.

Twisted a bit of 28 awg Kanthal together & coiled it up. It hits 0.50 in the Velocity V2 clone. I probably out to tossed another such coil on it to do dual but figured since 0.50 was kicking good, why bother?

The good news is that Deb and Atcha are far enough North that they shouldn't see much more than a bit of rain from it.

After the comments earlier about Harvey, I've been keeping my eyes on weather.com's radar... couple things come to mind...: 1) I didn't know hurricanes spun counter-clockwise; 2) what started off looking pretty straggly has gained massively in organization, so 3) from Matamoros to Corpus Christi... RUN! SAVE YOURSELVES! 
Seriously, it's gonna get real ugly on that stretch of gulf coast.
I was mainly concerned because there's harvey in the western gulf... whole BUNCHA shitski in S. FL... and some lesser shitski in the Atlantic near the coast that might or might not turn into massive shitski. I'm just hoping and praying it doesn't all head for the ATL at the same time and wipe us off the map.

Well, shitski; looks like I have to revise that, instead of Matamoros to Corpus Christi, Matamoros to Houston or even Beaumont, maybe even the big sleazy. They're saying it's a 3, but it's so fucking enormous, I'm thinking it could even get up to a 4.

We got our property tax bill recently, and had to get an escrow re-analysis, since they've increased the valuation yet again -- for this house we bought for $60k in 2011.... now it's apparently worth $127.7k.

I have spent a fair amount in the past on promises and hype which turned out to be just vapor.... I decided it was a waste of Money.

They may be a reasonable priced regulated squonker on the market later this year or early next year that I will get.
Might fool around with making squonk mods. Have a lot of nice seasoned cherry wood and even some burls. Have a vacuum pump and chamber so could do stabilized wood....

I've been using one of my new 30Q's all day today, and I am absolutely DELIGHTED with their longevity -- I've had this battery in all day, since around noon-ish, so about 14 hrs now --
Check out that battery indicator -- hardly moved off full! (it's at such low wattage because I just put a fresh coil and wick in it, or it would be about 9.6w.).
And yeah it's a 2 ohm coil, and just because all these cloud chasers keep posting pics of coils that look more like jewelry than a coil to vape with, i went ahead and took a pic of it too:
Still breaking it in, so the flavor isn't yet terrific, still a bit cottony tasting, but it's a great coil, decent vapor even at 9.2w. As the cotton taste fades, I'll gradually turn it up.

Can someone help reconcile why I pulled out a velocity v2 clone, set it up with dual twisted 28 awg coils to hit at .55(R) oHm? I know it might seem insignificant currently. Do not mean to detract or belittle anything else happening. I'm merely offering a diversion to what is going on, just so as to help folks and myself both avoid too much ... well.
My opinion as to why I did it? @The Cromwell and his damn wankers made me. Kept reading of him giving those wankers a lot of TLC & liking them. I started squonking in earnest with these cunningly made velocity clones. Seems we return to first likes, loves.

s going out to folks. If you get an extra one pass it along to some stranger, in fact give them an extra one or few so they can pass them on too.

There's actually a V3 of the velocity clones with bottom fed airflow. It doesn't exactly reach out infect me with shinyitis. Then again, not seeing much that does any more. Might buy a few extra RDA s currently on hand, a few more velocity & goon/goon Lp clones. Might get a spare or two CopperVape kits. Beyond that, wire and muji cotton, maybe a small DYI juice kit to make up unflavored base. Figure most of my real "shopping" is done, now its only keep stock on hand. Ah yes, batteries. Yay. Alright, I'll be hanging in the barn now.

I have been eyeballing the Wasp nano for a spell now. Simply due to it being a small chamber. Figuring if I put a decent build on it, it'll knock my head back.Conversely, I am now in need of having to lower nicotine consumption. Have had more than one medical pro tell me horror tales regarding it being a vasoconstriction chemical. Wife says if it posses me risking a stroke I need to work toward lemon aiding it.
