Do you need to file down the contacts a little?

I've had to do that with some of those little mech squonkers before
Maybe. I hadn't really thought about doing that. The batteries are very hard to get in and out. That battery in the picture has been in and out about 3 times.

Sometimes just taking a file like you use for fingernails will work, just use it to smooth out the edges of the contacts

Wish the makers would charge one dollar more to make the contacts smooth - it's a real pisser

Wow! You just see them on the ground like that? Around here we're lucky to see one flying around.

We have them in great abundance, and our population doesn't migrate

In reality, Bald Eagles are lazy ass scavengers when there is an abundance of food

It would be nice! This is the only squonk mod I've had this problem with. All the rest slide in and out smooth as butter. I'll look at it more closely when I change the battery. I dry burned the coils and put fresh wicking in the atty earlier. Vaping some vanilla custard in it. :cloud:

One less cigarette? I dual used when I first started vaping. It was months before I exclusively just vaped. The first one of the day was the hardest to give up.
I could always quit smoking.
for a couple of weeks or even a month but always started back up.
Vaping allowed me to stay quit.
Still crave one every now and again...
But not as often as I did.

Damn! That is a rough beating.

Yeah, I don't have to ruin my manicure - he's beating himself up just fine

It took me three years and a month (for some reason I thought it was 2.5 years, but I found my first receipt, lol) but I needed the WTA

He just really doesn't want to quit and there isn't much I can do about that

I think it took me about 4 months to give up that 1st of the day cigarette. Woke up one morning and didn't have any so that was the end of that. I have dual used over the years when things are really, really stressing me out but I usually go back to just vaping a few weeks after the stress has gone away.
And you're right...you can't make him quit.

I just wish he's understand how much better he would feel if he'd do about half and half

Personally, I saw tremendous improvements in how I felt at about 50/50 dual use - and I was still blowing through at least a pack a day for the better part of a year, lol

Me too! I couldn't believe the change. That made it easier to give up the last one. I just kept telling myself to go one more day without buying any. Soon it had been 2 weeks. I think sometimes now that I should get some WTA to have here for those stressful times.
Is he using the WTA?

But plenty of crazy people have kids...
Sad to say....

Perhaps those are the kids eating and vaping tide pods?
I'm trying to figure out why the parents allow it? But I'm sure that my kids have done some stupid things that I don't know about either. ;)

I don't think that many parents really care as long as the kids do not bother them...

True! When my daughter was in elementary school there was a teacher's work day. Another parent called the school superintendent raising holy hell because she had things to do that day but couldn't do them because her kids weren't in school. We found out later that she was a xxxxxxxxx and expected "company" that day so she could make money to buy more xxxxx.

And some people say that it is the illegal immigrants that are messing things up...
I know.. The elementary school that both of my kids went to was parked right beside low income housing so you can imagine. Now there were some really good parents there too. One's that truly cared about their kids but there were some real low life's there too. It was a model school while my daughter was there but the school lost the funding for that my son's first year there. Good teachers but for some of the kids those teachers were beating their heads against the wall. Parents didn't care so the kids didn't either.

Teaching is often a VERY thankless job.
I view teaching as a calling not a profession. for good teachers anyway.

I used to be able to tell the difference very, very quickly - like within two minutes of meeting them the first time

My youngest daughter is dating a male kindergarten teacher - and it seems to be getting serious....

I drive my kids up the wall by leaving home and not taking my phone with me. I’ll come back home to a thousand texts and very upset “children”. :D
I just have a flip phone and do not keep it turned on all the time which upsets some people.
I view a phone as something for MY convenience.

My thoughts exactly! Why do I need a phone if I’m just going to run to the grocery store or get gas? My kids however, has their phones glued to their hands.

I also do not answer my phone while driving.
And sometimes choose not to answer it even while not driving.
If it is important I have voice mail.
If not important enough to leave a voice mail.. too bad so sad.

Voicemail is how I know if I’m getting a spam call or not. If my phone rings and it’s not a number I know or is already in my phone I send it to voicemail. If they leave it then it’s a legitimate call. If not it is a spam call.

yep another gripe.
I pay for my phone service for my convenience not for the convenience of telemarketers.
Now if they credited my bill $1 for each call they make to me....

+1 on this! Plus they need to pay me for my inconvenience of accidentally answering the phone and listening to them for 2 seconds. :D

Many people act as if it is a sin to not answer a phone call.
And will literally drop everything to answer the phone like it is THE top priority in life or something.

When I was working having a cell phone was needed. Being gone from home a couple weeks at a time made it necessary. Now that I am disabled I have little use for a cell phone. Seldom do I take it anywhere and I bitch about the bill every month :giggle:

My kids are exactly like this although my daughter is getting better about it. But her phone is in her hand every minute of the day and it work it’s in her pocket.
