Hell yeah they do, since Joe was the very first ECF refugee. :D

Tuxie just came in. The spawn and I got back from our various grocery runs, and since the truck was back, and it was just after 5 (the time the mate gets home from work, M-F), I went out and started calling her. She came creeping down the hillside in the back, but when she got to the back patio, despite the mate and the spawn calling her from inside the open door, she stopped and sat down to have a think about it. :giggle: I came up the side of the house, talking sweet to her, and she actually came to me, meowing piteously... which gave me the chance to scoop her up, of course then getting a battle wound from 20 lbs of aggrieved cat. :giggle: So now my left forearm is sporting a bandaid with neosporin under it. But Tuxie is in, hurray. :D

I know all my own fugee buds have seen, but for the benefit of the new guys, this is Tuxie:

And this is the new baby, Annabel, who's almost 4 months old:

Tuxie is still hissing and growling anytime she catches sight or sound of annabel, so Annabel still lives in the spawn's room, aside from romps in the living room when Tuxie is outside. We're going to get one of the Feliway multi-cat scent diffusers, to try and get Tuxie to calm the fuck down about a little bitty kitty who lives here now with us. :D

VU has its ups and downs. Sometimes I wanna give everyone here a big ol hug, sometimes I wanna flip 'em off. :D I LOVE internet socialization, because when the "flip 'em off" feeling is intense, I just go do something else. :D

The great thing about VU is that you really can say pretty much whatever you want, within some very sane and reasonable boundaries; you can tell any moderator to ESAD, nobody much cares, the mod may say it right back to you. :giggle: And those who CONTINUALLY cause problems, generally do get shown the door at some point... but you have to seriously be a problem, to get the banhammer at VU.

I think that vibe comes across when you sign up from things like the forum rules. I guess the subject matter makes it quite easy for it to be chilled out too. How can heated can a 'my vape is better than your vape' really get

I suppose you could have a reg heads vs Mech warriors flame war.

I think there's one of those going on right now in some thread. :giggle: But ECF... they are the most uptight, head-up-their-ass puritan fuckheads I think I've ever had the dubious pleasure of encountering. I was there for a bit over 2 yrs, and finally had just had more than enough. Those of us in this thread, many of us, were somewhat acquainted over at ECF, and were delighted to see some of our friends from there show up here. The fugee thread is not really exclusive though, just a way for us to find each other, in the vastness of VU. :D

Speaking of wonky threads... the battery caps on the iPV Mini, the original 30w ones. Someone told me a while back of a place to buy those caps, but i can't recall for love nor money where they said, nor even who said it. :xD: Anyone have any ideas? I was wearing blue yesterday and wanted to use my blue iPV Mini, but the damn threads kept popping free, I think they're shot.

Dont know about the caps, but get hubby to put some teflon tape on the threads and it might help them hold enough for it to be usable until you do find the caps your looking for.

Evening fugees :)

Man what a day. Plumb pathetic! Ex wanted me to go with her to see a doctor. Ok, whatever. 9:45 appointment, we didnt get out of there until frickin almost noon. Then the GF asked if I am hungry. Honestly, not really lol. So she took us to Golden Corral. But what really added insult to the entire day is as we was about to leave I looked at thr receipt. Damnit all if they didnt give me a SR discount. Holy crapola. I wont be 53 until this weekend. Damnit.

Teflon tape huh. Dunno if he's got any of that, I'll have to inquire. I'm hoping it's the cap's threads that are fucked up, and not the inside of the battery tube threads. :facepalm:

The day I turned FIFTY, I got asked by this old bitch at Kroger if I wanted the SR discount. I said I'm FIFTY, not sixty!

That's ok though. We found a nice purty Benjamin on the floor at that Kroger... and KEPT IT! FINDERS KEEPERS, ASSHOLES!!!!!!! :giggle:

I am. I actually think I just over-did it. I worked a lot, then, went home and mowed, cut branches, burned, and even put up a small pool I could float around in and look at the stars with my light up rubber duckie. lol. Got Mr. Freeman a pool too and have him moving around better now. The new arthritis pills I got him seem to be working. Here's a pic of the pool and duck.

Nice to hear your pup is feeling better. I think Annabel has now gone a whole 3-4 days without vomiting! Apparently she's got really sensitive digestion. Tomorrow we should get the multi-cat scent diffuser, so maybe Tuxie will calm the fuck down and we can get back to trying to get them used to each other.

And great to hear you're off the WTA; I know it's very hard to do, but totally worth it! Much easier to do it on your own terms, in your own time, than suddenly... "The FDA did WHAT?????" :facepalm: Stupid bastards. Trying to kill the ONLY thing that's ever had a chance in hell of getting some of us diehard smokers off the butts.

Yeah I gave it to a friend of mine who just can't get off the cigs with the regular juice. I TOTALLY agree with you. I think YOU were the one that told me to try it! And I'm glad I did. I cracked one night and vaped it but in 2 weeks, that's the only time I had any.

I've still got mine, got about a half bottle I think -- because now and then the world just wants to fuck with me, with this or that stress or this or that thing to be depressed about. I put a drop or two into my Achilles, and within a few hours, I'm less stressed and/or depressed. Really wish I knew where to get more, NOT "WTA ejuice", but ACTUAL WTA.

Annabel seems ok most of the time, but she kept throwing up, usually at night when kidly's asleep; she's got a lot of energy, curosity, your typical very young feline... so I think she's not really sick, it's just a matter of finding food that suits her belly. Annabelly! :giggle: But because of the digestive issues, she's not putting on weight as fast as she really ought to -- she's growing fast, and it's hard to keep up with her caloric requirements when she's throwing up so much.

I've been slammed too. Work is crazy getting school done and starting summer school up. GRRRRR. Oh well. I'm only back to 11 hour days. With a lunch break and driving time, it's only 12 1/2. lol. I don't know how Lynn does it. She must be in better shape than me.
