I won't tell you it's so good I've been vaping it for over a year.

Most of the way down the page. http://www.hicsmixes.com/fruity.html It's actually red soda, so depends on what you get from cream soda.
I know red cream is its own thing. What I think of when I imagine cream soda is a brown-colored caramel/vanilla/cream concoction, with maybe a tiny amount of cola for spice---but then again maybe no cola. I'm inspired to start trying it out.

Getting the bubbly/fizzy effect has been kind of elusive for me. I feel like I taste bubbles in a plain fa cherry coke--that is, fa black cherry and fa cola. But I know the fizz is probably in my mind. Nevertheless, if it works for me, chances are it will work for a good majority of people who associate bubbles with cola flavors!

Another FA flavour I picked up was Cardamom. Mixed it with FA Coconut (which Huck recommended and I said I wasn't going to get but couldn't help myself) and wow! It's delicious!!!!

Tried a 10ml of .5% Cardamom and 1% Coconut...might try adding White Peach or Lemon Sicily to that:bomb:

Coconut, Cardamon & Peach sounds like a winner to me. Somebody was talking here recently of HIC's Lemon Cardamom Custard, which was among my very first DIY tries (so yummy and only 3 ingredients!) and I was inspired to look up my notes on it & found a variation I had really liked with coconut. I have to go scant on the cardamon in any recipe that includes it, buyt in small doses--or with something like lemon to really contrast with it--the flavor is so satisfying.

Ok, that's it for now. Any suggestions and recommendations would be greatly appreciated

TFA Banana Cream 3% stand alone, (can also mix with other things)
INW Shisha Strawberry 2% + INW Biscuit 2%
TFA Blueberry Wild 2-3% + INW Biscuit 2%, (Blueberry also works stand alone or with Creams, Vanillas, Custards, Cheesecake etc).
TFA Orange Cream 5-10%, (kinda like a creamsicle)
INW Lemon Cake 3% (if you like Lemon Cake that is)
CAP Vanilla Bean Ice Cream, (works well with most any fruit 4-5%).
CAP/TFA Sweet Cream 1-2% (same as above)
CAP Vanilla Custard v1 (another one good with fruits or Custard types)
CAP NY Cheesecake and/or TFA Cheesecake Graham.
TFA Brown Sugar 0.5-3% range, used for sweetening and adding some baked effect.
FA Coconut 0.5% handy for adding a buttery effect in mixes when used in lower amounts.

Well it's more than 10 but it may be a good place to start with ideas anyway.

Oh....I'm going to have to find that HIC recipe;)

Thank you ! I had FA flavors in mind, mainly because i don't do diketones, but if i can be reasonably sure some of the ones you mentioned are diketone free, i will keep them in mind, except for the vanilla custard and cheesecake which i don't like. Shisha strawberry, blueberry and orange cream are the ones i am most interested in from your list ... and the sweet cream if it isn't too heavy or cloying. Is the coconut used to add " buttery " effect only, doesn't it taste like coconut ? I do like lemon, but not if the cake portion is too heavy or cloying.

That's how flavor artists/scientists work. If they get their formulations right, we fill in the rest. It's amazing how our brains can fill in missing pieces when the rest is just right. That's why you "taste" bubbles in your cherry coke. Sometimes the finishing touch is rather unexpected and off in left field. Sometimes there is no finishing touch.

I'd love to know how many recipes @HeadInClouds has scrapped for lack of that "finishing touch".

Some of them are clean from baddies but I can't remember which ones atm.
But TFA Vanilla Swirl & TFA French Vanilla Deluxe are a couple of alternatives that are clean.
Lemon Cake tastes more like the "Lemon" part of the frosting & cake, but not much cake taste IMO.
And the Coconut will taste like Coconut when used around 2% +.
The TFA Orange Cream may have bad stuff too, but CAP Sweet Tangerine is a good one also.
(not as creamy as Orange Cream tho)
Yogurt may be another idea to use with fruits.

I think this was my first EVER DIY recipe? If not, it was very close to the first, and it is AWESOME.

It's also very easy to make-one of its many charms ;)

Indeed!

This wasn't the first diy recipe that I tried but it was the first coffee type one and the one that convinced me that yes, I do like coffee vapes!

For some reason, despite being a coffee drinker, I had a mental block towards coffee vapes prior. :coffee2:

Does FA Watermelon need time to steep or maybe higher percentage? I mixed it with 2% Watermelon and 1% Catalan Cream.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

No, that one is not a steeper. Have you tried it as a standalone?

I'd try 3% first, to me 2% would be too low. It also tastes great with Fuji. ;)

Okay FA lovers! I recently purchased FA watermelon for some reason. I don't have a clue on what the hell I was thinking. Anyway, if you use this flavor what do you pair with it. I'm thinking Inawera Raspberry with a creme or FA lime pressed. Any ideas? Don't care for recipes just ideas since I'm clueless on why I bought this flavor.
The only way I enjoyed FA watermelon was the recipe I bought from Hics Mixes of Sweet Watermelon juice.

Here's my favorite watermelon!

FA Watermelon 4%
FA Coconut 2%
FA Lime Cold-Pressed .5%
FA Pineapple .5%
Ethyl Maltol 1% (optional but recommended!)

Let it sit for a day and you won't taste the lime, but the lime and pineapple are essential supporting flavors. Credit to Shaner for the brilliant flavor combo. He refers to it as a Coconut Watermelon Slushy I believe. Modified to suit my palate. Great summer vape, but it gets mixed year-round at my place.

I've been trying to find a watermelon vape with the flavours I have. Every one I see all I can think is....."Man, I need more flavours" LOL

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

Sounds odd, but I forgot to clean my tank before putting this in my tank. It had monsoon. It tasted like ginger ale. So wonder if adding .25% monsoon to that would create that. Not brave enough to try it though.

I'm not crazy, my mother had me tested.

FA Pistachio is kind of woody tasting, IMO.

Disabling email notifcations can be done on your profile page in alerts and alert prefences.

I tried to find HIC's Lemon Cardamom Custard Saturday morning before I had to run to Banff and couldn't find it so threw something together based on what had available.

I used CAP VC V1 (no FA Custard:() with FA Cardamom, FA Lemon Sicily, FA Coconut and FA Vienna cream and it was amazing without steeping so I'm pretty exited to find out what it tasted like once it sits for a few weeks.

I'm loving the contrast of the spice with the lemon:)

I use FA and agree with Huckleberried. I like to smooth it with FA Marzipan and use it no higher than .5%.

Yes it does, but imho add 1% Strawberry. It will bring out that watermelon much more defined. If that make sense.

Anyone have a use for FA Blenderize (Tutti Frutti) other than making the well known gum?

I ended up with it by accident when I bought a bottle for a buddy and somehow chose a quantity of 2 instead of 1.

Now when I pull out my vape stuff it stares at me, taunting me to use it.

I seem to recall Rocket Puppy liked that one by itself ... said the flavor would morph periodically, in a good way.

I haven't tried it myself though but I want to at some point.

I juicy fruit gum mixed with something tastes good to you, go for it, LOL. It's such a unique flavor, that one loses me completely. I found it kinda dry tasting, but spot on, no doubt.
