Just mixed 10 ml of Tuscan Reserve. Never tried it before. Does it need to steep?
In my experience Tuscan Reserve doesn't change much with steeping, at least not with VT nic. Like LoveVanilla said, it'll get a bit smoother and richer. I accidentally left some in the crock pot for about ten hours once and it had major flavor fade.
FA Desert ship has me scared to try new tobaccos. I've been eying Hangsen over at BC. Don't know what I'd want to try though
Desert Ship is a very unique flavor and shouldn't be used to judge FAs other tobacco flavors. It changes significantly with steeping and IMO is best at about six weeks. I really like it best as an ingredient in a mix, not so much stand alone.
I highly recommend Cuban Supreme for a mostly plain tobacco(with a hint of vanilla). It's really good stand alone and for mixing.

Maxx Blend is my favorite
cigarette flavor, with clean nic you'll get a mild sweetness of what I perceive as caramel others say honey.
Cowboy has the strong cigarette flavor of Maxx Blend plus, what I think is(maybe way off), a heavy dose of Burley. It's not for tobacco light weights but is good stand alone.
Lately I've been loving Layton Blend @ ~ 2%, for me, it's mild tobacco with a hint of marshmallow.

A lot of people like 7 Leaves, it's a blend, I don't care much for it myself but it would be good stand alone.
IMHO, most of the other FA tobaccos(that I've tried) are mixers. My must haves are Black Fire, Virginia, Burley, Latakia, Perique, Shade and Desert Ship.
