Help calculating pg/vg with salt nicotine

I am trying to make a 50% salt nicotine ejuice however I am running into a problem with the calculations.

If I use a calculator and input 50% nicotine, it still makes me do a mix of 100% combined between the pg & vg. It doesn't matter what I try I always end up with a negative number for the pg (that's what I'm trying to use less of. I typically do a 70/30 mix). What am I doing wrong? Do I need a special calculator? I'm hoping someone can help me.

I'm completely new to making ejuice with salt nicotine, any advice on calculations would be helpful. Thank you.

You say 50% nicotine but I think you mean 5% nicotine.
Normal high nic salt eliquid on the market is 5% (50mg/ml)

I have a few questions and maybe we can figure this out.

What nicotine content are you trying to make the finished eliquid? (5% / 50mg/ml, 2.5% / 25mg/ml, etc...)

How much off is the amount?

How much finished eliquid are you trying to make? (like 100ml bottle. 30ml bottle, etc...)

Yes- 5% would be correct. Oops.

So, if you enter 5% nicotine into the calculator you still get over 100%?
