especially for no-diketone vapers!

New today at HIC's Mixes : Sweet Grahams
p Sweet Grahams 200.jpg
"A breakthrough for vapers who avoid diacetyl/sub ingredients: graham crackers with NO diketones! This can be made to taste like the cinnamon-sugar graham breakfast cereal shown or like honey grahams. This recipe requires FlavourArt flavorings including their new Joy flavor, plus The Flavor Apprentice's Brown Sugar."

Because graham cracker flavorings all contain diaceyl/subs, no-diketone vapers have been deprived - until now. FlavourArt's new Joy flavor has made it possible! If your other brands' graham flavors fall short of your expectations, this one is for you, too.

I'm convinced you folks are doing this on purpose ... flaunting the use of that new Joy flavor that I DON'T have!!!!:mad::mad::mad::mad:

Just kidding of course but I am kicking myself for not having ordered that flavor when I had the chance. I just wasn't sure about it going by the description FA provided. :(

FA: "e-motions Joy - Close your eyes, imagine the Fairground..."

Mysterious descriptions are my pet peeve. Should it remind me of the livestock pens? The diesel exhaust from the tilt-a-whirl? The unbathed teenaged ticket-taker? chicken fried bacon from the TX state fair? lol They could have dropped a better clue!

FA Custard goes perfectly with fruit flavors, so I'd just do 3-4% FA Strawberry with about 3% FA Custard. (shake Strawberry before you measure it). Custard has lemon and vanilla flavor in it that goes great with strawberry flavor.
Less lemon-vanilla version with some cream on top: 3-4% FA Strawberry, 1.5% Custard, 1% Vienna Cream, 0.5% Fresh Cream

I tried small 10ml and it's seems very nice strawberry but less custard note even after increased 50% flavors (do I need to steep and how long?) might be steeping bring custard note?

Thanks a lot

HiC's flavors take a few months to pop for me. Not steeping, just gaining my taste buds back after smoking for 27 years. However I did make a strawberry cream with 8% FA flavors and then added another 8% of TFA and Capella strawberries.
I don't think steeping is really needed with FA ingredients. You just need to property mix them.

I find that Custard (and most other creamy flavors, FA or not) gets smoother and "richer" as it ages, especially in the first couple of days.

edit: (and I know I'm in the minority at times, but I usually prefer it before then :D)

I've still only used MFS 100mg since January. Doesn't bother me. I do have some NN but I'd have to spend some serious time to taste test it.

I've been almost 2 years without a cig now, and I think mine are still recovering. I sure can't eat hot sauce like I used to!
Oh my God!!! you are still, can't eat hot sauce after 2 years?? I quit smoking 2 months have notice big difference especially with spices I can't eat as like before (a lot) but was thinking maybe it will take couple of months . Around a month and half ago I was going to stop E-cigarette and was planning to go back to smoking (as didn't get satisfaction) but saw vapingunderground.com and first post which i read was yours. I thought let's try HIC's DIY and that was amazing since then never thought about going back to smoking and encourage others to stop and just visit and stop by following places for e-juice stuff
1-For Flavors mamajsflavorshop.com
2-For Free recipes and other E-cigarette informations http://vapingunderground.com/
3-For paid best recipes https://gumroad.com/hic( Best recipes, ALMOST FREE OF COST compare to e-juice seller) from HIC's - HeadinClouds

in last I want to thanks everyone (here in VU and everywhere) who support e-cigarette and stop smoking. Special Thanks to @HeadInClouds and @wllmc (http://mamajsflavorshop.com/)

Wow - I am honored to have had any role in keeping you from returning to smoking. I am glad you stuck with vaping until you found what works for you, and how great that you're encouraging others there to switch, too. Thank you so much for that post!

Newly listed at HIC's Mixes: Dulce de Leche Churros

Dulce de leche is a milky, sweet caramel made by boiling sweetened, condensed milk until it caramelizes. It's often used as a filling, dip, or drizzle on desserts.

The cinnamon sugar flavor on these churros tastes like white-sugar-cinnamon, brighter and sweeter than a brown sugar flavor.

Combine those, make it a bakery vape, and it's delicious! You can taste the sweet cinnamon bit separately from the underlying caramel. It's an effect I'm sure enjoying.

Dulce de Leche Churros is just a step away from cinnamon-sugar cookies and snickerdoodles, so I included notes in the recipe to help you make both of those, too. It's a recipe best for DIYers with some experience, because flavorings are used as low as 0.5% and must be measured pretty accurately to get the right effect.

Sounds wonderful, but when I popped over to your store, I didn't see it listed :(

(about Dulce de Leche Churros)
Sounds wonderful, but when I popped over to your store, I didn't see it listed :(

Look near the bottom of the listings. (No, you didn't miss it when you looked - I just put it back there.)

I list only 36 at a time. Most of the "heavy" and "cold-weather" ones are cleared off right now to make room for more summery stuff. Every few days I swap a few out, so they all rotate through.

Thanks HIC! Just got it. Everything is a "summery" flavor for us folks living in Florida!

How about a coconut custard blend...any recommendations?

In my opinion, the lemon in FA Custard clashes with Coconut. I think coconut needs a vanilla-flavored base. If you vape diketones, you could probably just mix this flavoring: http://mamajsflavorshop.com/game-over-custard/?page_context=category&faceted_search=0 and add a bit of FA Coconut for a really great coconut custard with all kinds of interest.

I can't read "coconut custard..." without adding "...pie" in my head. I have a diketone-free coconut custard pie high on my to-do list since getting Gooey Coconut Cookies the way I wanted. I like the flavor of real "impossible coconut pie" ( http://www.food.com/recipe/impossible-pie-424705 ), which has a layer like those cookies, but I'd also be happy to find a way to make the flavor of this photo: http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/coconut-chiffon-pie .

Ditto, ditto! Everything tastes so much better to me, I can pick out specific flavors in foods that I was not able to when I smoked. BUT.... I also cannot tolerate hot sauce like I used to. Kinda bums me, LOL.

About to go enjoy my own Kaktus Collection" that I just purchased (yay!) and since I forgot I'd bought tfa sweet tart flavoring, I got that recipe too. Gonna be a good mixing day!

But the worst is the bad smells! Mildew, water bottles, coffee mugs... Smoking made the world more tolerable. Thinking how great smoking was during trench warfare lol
We (THE PEOPLE) love vaping and hate smoking now :D but, 'BIG BROTHERS' consider it same. Yesterday took this picture (of course I was not vaping in there) but, expect this everywhere in near future

Yeah, that crap is plastered all over the place here too. But, like my boss says, he doesn't not allow vaping in the restaurant because he disapproves of it. His wife vapes (I started her out a few months ago). But it's not worth the conflict in the restaurant to him to defend those vaping against the many peons who would accuse them of smoking because they see the vapor. If no one is allowed to smoke or vape, it avoids the conflict.

That and last time I was in a B&M vape so thick couldn't even tell how many people was in the place. No bad smells but more custard notes in the air to make a horse wheeze for two days.

So many hot coils in the kinda makes me wonder about what's in those liquids and what at those temps are being blown out.

Also wondering could that heavy dense vaporized VG carry any virus or bacteria from deep inside the lungs of that guy with the drippy dripper.

So I kinda get a in some respects.

It's great to read that, Teresa! Thanks for commenting on them. (Kaktus=awesome to me, better in mixes than I'd first assumed)

I would NEVER buy six bottles of juice worth vaping for the $5 that recipe collection cost me. It agitates me to see the two or three folks that have made negative comments in the forum about paying for recipes (and we've seen them) and know they're spending five times that or more for one bottle of vendor juice. I don't even have the math skills - or need them - to tell me that this is a smart investment. You are literally giving me money here. And the product is amazing.
Thank you!

HIC's mixes
View attachment 14373

What is HIC's mixes?
This is my stash of unpublished, new DIY recipes -- ones NOT available anywhere else. They are for personal, non-commercial use only.

What do I get when I buy a HIC's mixes recipe?
You receive instant access to the recipe and my accompanying notes -- along with free updates if you don't object. My notes may include recipe variations, flavor substitutions, explanation of new flavor tricks, interesting background info, mixing tips, etc. Occasionally, free updates might include an entirely new recipe, but they're usually added notes or new suggested variations.

What flavors do I need?
HIC's Mixes recipes avoid diacetyl and related diketones, mainly by using FlavourArt e-cig flavorings. When you click on a recipe, the description tells you if any other brands are needed.

Why buy HIC's unpublished recipes?
Here are some reasons DIYers have given me:
You want better-than-vendor vapes -- with no diacetyl or substitutes.
You're new to DIY or FlavourArt and want tasty results quickly.
You need to save time/money/effort -- but you want gourmet vapes.
You're an experienced DIYer and want to learn new FlavourArt mixing tricks.
You've enjoyed my public recipes, and you want more.

Drop by often and see what I have to offer. New recipes are added frequently!

Just considering DIY? Want to keep it very simple?
Select recipes are available as premixed flavorings here: http://mamajsflavorshop.com/specialty-shop/hics-mixes/ . Just add some drops to your unflavored nic base.
I just purchased 5 of your recipes and the banana pudding one came in email and says "This message cannot be displayed because of the way it is formatted. Ask the sender to send it again using a different format or email program. multipart/alternative"

@Teresa P If those folks who don't want to pay @HeadInClouds recipes NO PROBLEM. I have a solution for that, Those should buy 5ml bottles of each and every FA flavor ( there are at least 128 FA flavors) then send to HIC (so that he can play with different flavors with different variations etc etc)

I am sure HIC will be agree and will send them HIC's FREE Recipe via email:D

JUST A SIDE NOTE to those Folks: We are not paying @HeadInClouds we actually contributing to appreciate his work, time, energy, efforts, knowledge, DIY material and MOST Important sharing of knowledge with us. If ANYONE WHO DON'T WANT TO PAY HIC's recipe Please don't buy but AT LEAST APPRECIATE HIS GREAT WORK AND GREAT SUPPORT for the vaping community.

@HeadInClouds Buddy, We appreciate your all work, efforts and we love you, you are Diamond for the Vaping community. We (all of us) Thank you

I've got a right collection of HIC's paid for recipes now.
The time and effort he's put into this is easily worth the tiny price tag.

Some people just feel the need to whinge and moan about everything.

Take it with a pinch of salt mate and rock on.
