The Orange Soda by HiC is only at his Gumroad atm but it has found a home in my cloud tank. Using almost the maximum recommended % of the secret TPA ingredient, it came out a little too bold for my dripper but is perfect for cloud chasing (next time, min.). Cloud setups mute flavor as we know but the Orange Soda holds up surprising well without changing character much. Mix it bold if cloud chasing!

Italian Lemon Soda is cloud-mute-resistant as well! Both the sodas are kind of in the same flavor family so I wouldn't recommend putting em both in the same rotation, but if you like one you'll likely enjoy the other :)
That is a very good description. I like 'em both, lol.

If you're wondering what they taste like, I'd say "food-accurate." These aren't sodas I would drink all day but I love having this vape in my cabinet.

Palermo is steeping... I could wall-o-text just speculating so I'll save it

@BumbaCLot Don't give up on bilberry until you let it steep for 7-14 days, I thought my bottle was bad vaping it fresh mixed solo - thin with a bite. Ultimately it isn't incredibly blue tasting but the tart of the berry skin is very real. Also HIC's smoothie recipe tastes more like one you'd make for breakfast and less like a ice-cream-shop smoothie.
I make mine for lunch in a Vitamix but my wife works second shift and no kids for a month or three.
Thanks I'll revisit in a couple days!

Just added to HIC's Mixes : Blue Razzz
View attachment 16822
The flavor of Smurf-blue beverages and frozen treats.
Three recipes are included: Blue Razzz, a Blue Razzz Float, and a Blue Kiwi Margarita.

----

I did "tag out" some older listings. They'll rotate back through now and then!

Finaly got my flavor orders and tried this out. Very good after shake and vape, can't wait to see how it does after a 1-2 week steep.

I made it with the ,5% Koolada, only thing missing now is the frozen brain effect when drinking too much too quickly!

PALERMO. Full disclosure - after I bought this recipe and glanced at it, I filed it away in my mental "RY4's for later" drawer because I didn't know. Just didn't know. Damn it's awesome. I used the default tobacco options on purpose, the B.vanilla, and the recommended nut option for lack of the default, 85% VG, 2% h2o, 4mg VT nic, pg filler. I didn't heat bathe, but everything was magically blended on day 5 after leaving the bottle in my car at work :) The steeping instructions are sound, probably could have saved myself some time... when the main ingredient tastes/smells the most forward, imo it's about ready. Before that, the tobaccos were very present and on the funky side like unsteeped tobbies are.

What's surprising and educational for a mixer imo is how the tobaccos influence the main sweet ingredients, and to observe how the other ingredients shape that duality. I couldn't be happier to have such a solid desert tobacco recipe! The substitution possibilities or using it as a sort of template for other adventures is priceless imo.

Ok so the taste. ADV award for overall balance. This one is rich though!. The sugar-family flavors become especially interesting after the "funk" of the tobacco blend steeps into it.

On my 30w flavor build in my Magma RDA, it's a rich, creamy smooth comfort vape, and much creamier than I'd expect from glancing at the recipe. Vape slow and savor!
With my flavor-face-melting twisted DC build, some creamy subtleties are lost but the sugars hit me nice and dark like a ry4d with enough personality to want to utter the name of the vape with a Spanish accent upon exhale. If that makes sense... really exciting and intense and still balance while face blasting, if that's a thing.

I switch between this and Orange Soda in my tank without rinsing because the flavors are compatible and fun together. I get Palermorange for a few vapes and it's kickass.

I appreciate your detailed description, @Laughmore ! My favorite part:
"how the tobaccos influence the main sweet ingredients, and to observe how the other ingredients shape that duality"
That is exactly what I aimed to achieve; thank you for putting the idea into words.

New today at HIC's Mixes: Toucan Cereal
p Toucan Cereal 200.jpg

"Sugary-sweet, frooty cereal - like eating this popular cereal straight from the box. This recipe requires numerous FlavourArt flavorings, plus one by The Flavor Apprentice which is widely-available but seldom used."

This recipe was made while munching from a box of Froot Loops. Munch, mix, vape, nibble, vape... just like I made my Orange Tic Tac recipe. It's designed to be a flavor match for the American version of Froot Loops; slightly different ingredients are used in boxes sold in Australia and perhaps some other countries.

Hmm should I buy this and compare to Lars.... That thing was pretty close with 8 FA and 2 TFA... maybe next week. Really interested in the granola!

Compare it to a box of Froot Loops instead of Lars. It's a good excuse to shop from those bottom shelves on the cereal aisle.

Vape your calories!
I lost about 60 lbs during my first couple of years of vaping - of course, since I can breathe now, I also started exercising more, and the better health pushed me into going vegetarian too - but then I moved in with 4 burly nephews and GAINED IT ALL BACK!:p

Lesson for the day: Get the recipe before you complete your flavor order :p

Currently shake'n'vaping/steeping Cinnamon Dolce Latte (familiar starbucks taste already) and Matcha Ice Cream (gonna steep, accidental extra .2% somethin aromatic... dangers of mixing by weight lol)

So it doesn't have the milk effect in it if I understand correctly ...

(about Toucan Cereal)
So it doesn't have the milk effect in it if I understand correctly ...

The main recipe is cereal only, for the purists. But it tells you how to use it with your favorite dairy flavors, and I included my favorite milky version. So you can do it plain or milky.

But - when you (literally) soak Froot Loops in milk, then dump the cereal, the resulting milk is a very different flavor. If/when I get that just right, I'll call it Toucan Milk, although that gives me a mental image of a biological impossibility. lol

Mmmm! I was very patient. I finally got the flavor I was missing to try gingerbread & I mixed up the recipe as written adding in the addition for gingerbread banana nut muffins. I am still being very patient. I get to try it tm morning. Waiting patiently.

Everyone knows vaping anything but tobacco or menthol is just to entice children. As if foodies don't exist.. But I do wonder if all the cereal recipes don't give them a slightly more reasonable point. But until they acknowledge the former I won't acknowledge the latter.

My mind can put boobs on anything, it's a gift.
There are some good cereal milk recipes circulating around reddit but they are all pretty dependant on TPA non-DX versions and FW hazelnut and yellow cake.

Yummy...guess I better get the recipe first because I'm pretty sure I don't have the rarely used widely available TFA flavor on hand.

Ahh, morning laughter! Envisioning a "Pamela Anderson" look a like toucan! Got my French vanilla cup of Joe & gingerbread banana nut muffins going on. Damn fine way to start a morning! Loving this light, warm, fluffy vape. I should indeed be mixing up the dark and Apple variations next!

New today at HIC's Mixes: 8-Day Tea Party
p 8-Day Tea Party 200.jpg
"8 different fruity black tea recipes, brewed with sweet vanilla-almond milk instead of water. Recipes include strawberry-cream, spiced apple, peaches and cream pastry, cinnamon-orange, and more. You can vape a different tea each day of the week, plus a special one for after a tough day at work. These are designed with beginning DIYers in mind, to give you gourmet flavor with few ingredients. All use only FlavourArt flavorings, including Torrone."

Easy mixing, but complex flavor blends you've probably never had before. (p.s. If you have never made fruit teas with almond milk instead of water, you ought to try it - so nice to sip while vaping these.)

I'll be honest - I'm unlikely to ever offer coupons, subscriptions, bundles, or discounts at my store. I like to keep it very simple and fair to those who buy one at a time, versus many at a time.

However, I am still dedicated to maintaining my 130+ free public recipes here: http://vapingunderground.com/forums/diy-e-liquid-recipes.50/ , along with the variations and notes on all of them. And I'm happy to give whatever suggestions I can to help anyone get the results they want from any recipe (mine or not), whether here, in the DIY forums, or by PM.

and nice to "meet" you, by the way!

(problem was solved - ignore this post)

I have removed my Toucan Cereal recipe indefinitely, due to apparent issues with some recent batches of FA's Meringue flavoring.
Details on the flavoring here: http://vapingunderground.com/threads/my-notes-on-flavourart-meringue.2696/

If your bottle of Meringue smells/tastes like dark caramel, egg yolk, or sulfur, it will not taste right in Toucan Cereal - or in any other recipe featuring bright fruit or meringue as a major flavor.

I have tried several options to work around this unexpected change in FA Meringue. In Toucan Cereal, no alternative to the original (bright, sweet, white sugar) FA Meringue gets my seal of approval. If you bought my recipe and your FA Meringue is this new (in my opinion horrible) flavor, I will gladly refund you for the recipe. You can PM me here, post in this thread, or email the address on your emailed receipt - I just need to know the email address you used when you bought the recipe.

I'll continue trying to hunt down an explanation from FlavourArt, and there will be no FA Meringue in my recipes until/unless I can point you to a source for the original flavor. My apologies!

Oh no, HIC - that's such an awesome recipe (thank heavens I made a small amount of base with the little bit of good meringue I had left!).

I agree it's great with the real FA Meringue, but it's very different with the new bottles I have.

I still have a little Toucan Cereal made with the last good Meringue I had. I'm saving it to compare with any potentially good FA Meringue I might luck into. I can't believe FA would make this change intentionally and without announcement.

In the meantime, lots of great flavorings to work with!

What to mix with this 4ml of good merengue I have left... until there's more info, it's hard not to treat it like it's my last. Probably the Toucan I just ordered the secret TFA ingredient for for starters :)

New today at HIC's Mixes: German Gummi Bears :D

p German Gummi Bears 200.jpg
"Superb flavor-match to the world's tastiest gummies: Haribo Gold-Bears Gummi Candy. YUM!
This recipe uses only FlavourArt flavorings."

I've frequently recommended Flavor West Gummy Bear, which I like -- but it's not the flavor of my favorite Haribo Gold Bears. This is! The flavor-match here is excellent - as good as my Tic Tac recipes are to the real candies. I have a good guess which brand of flavorings are in Haribo's North-American-bound gummies.

note: the actual bears pictured above sacrificed themselves in the making of this recipe, along with some of their friends. lol
